1 tata. h para. m mandiraat taan saptaduutaan sambhaa. samaa. na e. sa mahaaravo mayaa"sraavi, yuuya. m gatvaa tebhya. h saptaka. msebhya ii"svarasya krodha. m p. rthivyaa. m sraavayata|
And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.
2 tata. h prathamo duuto gatvaa svaka. mse yadyad avidyata tat p. rthivyaam asraavayat tasmaat pa"so. h kala"nkadhaari. naa. m tatpratimaapuujakaanaa. m maanavaanaa. m "sariire. su vyathaajanakaa du. s.tavra. naa abhavan|
And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshipped his image.
3 tata. h para. m dvitiiyo duuta. h svaka. mse yadyad avidyata tat samudre. asraavayat tena sa ku. napastha"so. nitaruupyabhavat samudre sthitaa"sca sarvve praa. nino m. rtyu. m gataa. h|
And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, [even] the things that were in the sea.
4 apara. m t. rtiiyo duuta. h svaka. mse yadyad avidyata tat sarvva. m nadii. su jalaprasrava. ne. su caasraavayat tatastaani raktamayaanyabhavan| apara. m toyaanaam adhipasya duutasya vaagiya. m mayaa "srutaa|
And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and it became blood.
5 varttamaana"sca bhuuta"sca bhavi. sya. m"sca parame"svara. h| tvameva nyaayyakaarii yad etaad. rk tva. m vyacaaraya. h|
And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge:
6 bhavi. syadvaadisaadhuunaa. m rakta. m taireva paatita. m| "so. nita. m tvantu tebhyo. adaastatpaana. m te. su yujyate||
for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.
7 anantara. m vediito bhaa. samaa. nasya kasyacid aya. m ravo mayaa "sruta. h, he para"svara satya. m tat he sarvva"saktiman prabho| satyaa nyaayyaa"sca sarvvaa hi vicaaraaj naastvadiiyakaa. h||
And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 anantara. m caturtho duuta. h svaka. mse yadyad avidyata tat sarvva. m suuryye. asraavayat tasmai ca vahninaa maanavaan dagdhu. m saamarthyam adaayi|
And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.
9 tena manu. syaa mahaataapena taapitaaste. saa. m da. n.daanaam aadhipatyavi"si. s.tasye"svarasya naamaanindan tatpra"sa. msaartha nca mana. hparivarttana. m naakurvvan|
And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.
10 tata. h para. m pa ncamo duuta. h svaka. mse yadyad avidyata tat sarvva. m pa"so. h si. mhaasane. asraavayat tena tasya raa. s.tra. m timiraacchannam abhavat lokaa"sca vedanaakaara. naat svarasanaa ada. mda"syata|
And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 svakiiyavyathaavra. nakaara. naacca svargastham anindan svakriyaabhya"sca manaa. msi na paraavarttayan|
and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.
12 tata.h para.m.sa.s.tho duuta.h svaka.mse yadyad avidyata tat sarvva.m pharaataakhyo mahaanade.asraavayat tena suuryyodayadi"sa aagami.syataa.m raaj naa.m maargasugamaartha.m tasya toyaani paryya"su.syan|
And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the [river] Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that [come] from the sunrising.
13 anantara. m naagasya vadanaat pa"so rvadanaat mithyaabhavi. syadvaadina"sca vadanaat nirgacchantastrayo. a"sucaya aatmaano mayaa d. r.s. taaste ma. n.duukaakaaraa. h|
And I saw [coming] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:
14 ta aa"scaryyakarmmakaari. no bhuutaanaam aatmaana. h santi sarvva"saktimata ii"svarasya mahaadine yena yuddhena bhavitavya. m tatk. rte k. rtsrajagato raaj naa. h sa. mgrahiitu. m te. saa. m sannidhi. m nirgacchanti|
for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
15 aparam ibribhaa. sayaa harmmagiddonaamakasthane te sa"ng. rhiitaa. h|
(Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)
16 pa"syaaha. m cairavad aagacchaami yo jana. h prabuddhasti. s.thati yathaa ca nagna. h san na paryya. tati tasya lajjaa ca yathaa d. r"syaa na bhavati tathaa svavaasaa. msi rak. sati sa dhanya. h|
And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-Magedon.
17 tata. h para. m saptamo duuta. h svaka. mse yadyad avidyata tat sarvvam aakaa"se. asraavayat tena svargiiyamandiramadhyasthasi. mhaasanaat mahaaravo. aya. m nirgata. h samaaptirabhavaditi|
And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:
18 tadanantara. m ta. dito ravaa. h stanitaani caabhavan, yasmin kaale ca p. rthivyaa. m manu. syaa. h s. r.s. taastam aarabhya yaad. r"nmahaabhuumikampa. h kadaapi naabhavat taad. rg bhuukampo. abhavat|
and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.
19 tadaanii. m mahaanagarii trikha. n.daa jaataa bhinnajaatiiyaanaa. m nagaraa. ni ca nyapatan mahaabaabil ce"svare. na svakiiyapraca. n.dakopamadiraapaatradaanaartha. m sa. msm. rtaa|
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 dviipaa"sca palaayitaa giraya"scaantahitaa. h|
And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 gaganama. n.dalaacca manu. syaa. naam uparyyekaikadro. naparimita"silaanaa. m mahaav. r.s. tirabhavat tacchilaav. r.s. te. h kle"saat manu. syaa ii"svaram anindam yatastajjaata. h kle"so. atiiva mahaan|
And great hail, [every stone] about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.
