பி²லிபிந​: 2

1 க்²ரீஷ்டாத்³ யதி³ கிமபி ஸாந்த்வநம்’ கஸ்²சித் ப்ரேமஜாதோ ஹர்ஷ​: கிஞ்சித்³ ஆத்மந​: ஸமபா⁴கி³த்வம்’ காசித்³ அநுகம்பா க்ரு’பா வா ஜாயதே தர்ஹி யூயம்’ மமாஹ்லாத³ம்’ பூரயந்த

If, therefore, there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort arising from love, if any participation of the Spirit, if any affections and mercies,

2 ஏகபா⁴வா ஏகப்ரேமாண ஏகமநஸ ஏகசேஷ்டாஸ்²ச ப⁴வத|

fulfill my joy, that you be of the same mind, having the same love, of one soul, of one mind;

3 விரோதா⁴த்³ த³ர்பாத்³ வா கிமபி மா குருத கிந்து நம்ரதயா ஸ்வேப்⁴யோ(அ)பராந் விஸி²ஷ்டாந் மந்யத்⁴வம்’|

doing nothing in strife and vain glory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

4 கேவலம் ஆத்மஹிதாய ந சேஷ்டமாநா​: பரஹிதாயாபி சேஷ்டத்⁴வம்’|

Consider not each one his own gifts, but each one also the gifts of others.

5 க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய யீஸோ² ர்யாத்³ரு’ஸ²​: ஸ்வபா⁴வோ யுஷ்மாகம் அபி தாத்³ரு’ஸோ² ப⁴வது|

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,

6 ஸ ஈஸ்²வரரூபீ ஸந் ஸ்வகீயாம் ஈஸ்²வரதுல்யதாம்’ ஸ்²லாகா⁴ஸ்பத³ம்’ நாமந்யத,

who, being in the form of God, did not think it an act of robbery to be equal with God;

7 கிந்து ஸ்வம்’ ஸூ²ந்யம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தா³ஸரூபீ ப³பூ⁴வ நராக்ரு’திம்’ லேபே⁴ ச|

but he divested himself by taking the form of a servant, and being made in the likeness of men:

8 இத்த²ம்’ நரமூர்த்திம் ஆஸ்²ரித்ய நம்ரதாம்’ ஸ்வீக்ரு’த்ய ம்ரு’த்யோரர்த²த​: க்ருஸீ²யம்ரு’த்யோரேவ போ⁴கா³யாஜ்ஞாக்³ராஹீ ப³பூ⁴வ|

and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient even to death, the death, indeed, of the cross.

9 தத்காரணாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரோ(அ)பி தம்’ ஸர்வ்வோந்நதம்’ சகார யச்ச நாம ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ நாம்நாம்’ ஸ்²ரேஷ்ட²ம்’ ததே³வ தஸ்மை த³தௌ³,

For which reason God has highly exalted him, and, also, bestowed on him a name that is above every name;

10 ததஸ்தஸ்மை யீஸு²நாம்நே ஸ்வர்க³மர்த்யபாதாலஸ்தி²தை​: ஸர்வ்வை ர்ஜாநுபாத​: கர்த்தவ்ய​: ,

that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those who are in heaven, and those who are on earth, and those who are under the earth;

11 தாதஸ்தே²ஸ்²வரஸ்ய மஹிம்நே ச யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்ட​: ப்ரபு⁴ரிதி ஜிஹ்வாபி⁴​: ஸ்வீகர்த்தவ்யம்’|

and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 அதோ ஹே ப்ரியதமா​: , யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்யத்³வத் ஸர்வ்வதா³ க்ரியதே தத்³வத் கேவலே மமோபஸ்தி²திகாலே தந்நஹி கிந்த்விதா³நீம் அநுபஸ்தி²தே(அ)பி மயி ப³ஹுதரயத்நேநாஜ்ஞாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா ப⁴யகம்பாப்⁴யாம்’ ஸ்வஸ்வபரித்ராணம்’ ஸாத்⁴யதாம்’|

So, then, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

13 யத ஈஸ்²வர ஏவ ஸ்வகீயாநுரோதா⁴த்³ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே மநஸ்காமநாம்’ கர்ம்மஸித்³தி⁴ஞ்ச வித³தா⁴தி|

for it is God, who, of his good pleasure, works in you both the will and the power to perform.

14 யூயம்’ கலஹவிவாத³ர்விஜதம் ஆசாரம்’ குர்வ்வந்தோ(அ)நிந்த³நீயா அகுடிலா

Do all things without murmurings and disputings,

15 ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய நிஷ்கலங்காஸ்²ச ஸந்தாநாஇவ வக்ரபா⁴வாநாம்’ குடிலாசாரிணாஞ்ச லோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே திஷ்ட²த,

that you may be without reproach and Harmless, the children of God, without blame, in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as luminaries in the world,

16 யதஸ்தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே யூயம்’ ஜீவநவாக்யம்’ தா⁴ரயந்தோ ஜக³தோ தீ³பகா இவ தீ³ப்யத்⁴வே| யுஷ்மாபி⁴ஸ்ததா² க்ரு’தே மம யத்ந​: பரிஸ்²ரமோ வா ந நிஷ்ப²லோ ஜாத இத்யஹம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய தி³நே ஸ்²லாகா⁴ம்’ கர்த்தும்’ ஸ²க்ஷ்யாமி|

holding forth the word of life, that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain, nor labor in vain.

17 யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸார்த²காய ப³லிதா³நாய ஸேவநாய ச யத்³யப்யஹம்’ நிவேதி³தவ்யோ ப⁴வேயம்’ ததா²பி தேநாநந்தா³மி ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ யுஷ்மாகம் ஆநந்த³ஸ்யாம்’ஸீ² ப⁴வாமி ச|

But if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.

18 தத்³வத்³ யூயமப்யாநந்த³த மதீ³யாநந்த³ஸ்யாம்’ஸி²நோ ப⁴வத ச|

In like manner do you also rejoice, and rejoice with me.

19 யுஷ்மாகம் அவஸ்தா²ம் அவக³த்யாஹமபி யத் ஸாந்த்வநாம்’ ப்ராப்நுயாம்’ தத³ர்த²ம்’ தீமதி²யம்’ த்வரயா யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரேஷயிஷ்யாமீதி ப்ரபௌ⁴ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ குர்வ்வே|

But I trust in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy shortly to you, that I also may be refreshed by knowing your condition;

20 ய​: ஸத்யரூபேண யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஹிதம்’ சிந்தயதி தாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏகபா⁴வஸ்தஸ்மாத³ந்ய​: கோ(அ)பி மம ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ நாஸ்தி|

for I have no one of a kindred spirit who will sincerely care for your condition:

21 யதோ(அ)பரே ஸர்வ்வே யீஸோ²​: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய விஷயாந் ந சிந்தயந்த ஆத்மவிஷயாந் சிந்தயந்தி|

for all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.

22 கிந்து தஸ்ய பரீக்ஷிதத்வம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாயதே யத​: புத்ரோ யாத்³ரு’க் பிது​: ஸஹகாரீ ப⁴வதி ததை²வ ஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்ய பரிசர்ய்யாயாம்’ ஸ மம ஸஹகாரீ ஜாத​: |

But you know his approved character, that as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel.

23 அதஏவ மம பா⁴வித³ஸா²ம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வா தத்க்ஷணாத் தமேவ ப்ரேஷயிதும்’ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ குர்வ்வே

Him, therefore, I hope to send immediately, as soon as I know how it may go with me.

24 ஸ்வயம் அஹமபி தூர்ணம்’ யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம்’ க³மிஷ்யாமீத்யாஸா²ம்’ ப்ரபு⁴நா குர்வ்வே|

But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.

25 அபரம்’ ய இபாப்²ரதீ³தோ மம ப்⁴ராதா கர்ம்மயுத்³தா⁴ப்⁴யாம்’ மம ஸஹாயஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாகம்’ தூ³தோ மதீ³யோபகாராய ப்ரதிநிதி⁴ஸ்²சாஸ்தி யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபே தஸ்ய ப்ரேஷணம் ஆவஸ்²யகம் அமந்யே|

Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and companion in labor and fellow-soldier, but your apostle, who also ministered to my want,

26 யத​: ஸ யுஷ்மாந் ஸர்வ்வாந் அகாங்க்ஷத யுஷ்மாபி⁴ஸ்தஸ்ய ரோக³ஸ்ய வார்த்தாஸ்²ராவீதி பு³த்³த்⁴வா பர்ய்யஸோ²சச்ச|

because he longed after you all, and was much distressed, because you had heard that he was sick.

27 ஸ பீட³யா ம்ரு’தகல்போ(அ)ப⁴வதி³தி ஸத்யம்’ கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்தம்’ த³யிதவாந் மம ச து³​: கா²த் பரம்’ புநர்து³​: க²ம்’ யந்ந ப⁴வேத் தத³ர்த²ம்’ கேவலம்’ தம்’ ந த³யித்வா மாமபி த³யிதவாந்|

And, indeed, he was sick near to death; but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.

28 அதஏவ யூயம்’ தம்’ விலோக்ய யத் புநராநந்தே³த மமாபி து³​: க²ஸ்ய ஹ்ராஸோ யத்³ ப⁴வேத் தத³ர்த²ம் அஹம்’ த்வரயா தம் அப்ரேஷயம்’|

I sent him, therefore, the sooner, that, by seeing him again, you might rejoice, and that I might be the less sorrowful.

29 அதோ யூயம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴​: க்ரு’தே ஸம்பூர்ணேநாநந்தே³ந தம்’ க்³ரு’ஹ்லீத தாத்³ரு’ஸா²ந் லோகாம்’ஸ்²சாத³ரணீயாந் மந்யத்⁴வம்’|

Receive him, therefore, in the Lord with all joy, and regard such as worthy of honor;

30 யதோ மம ஸேவநே யுஷ்மாகம்’ த்ருடிம்’ பூரயிதும்’ ஸ ப்ராணாந் பணீக்ரு’த்ய க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய கார்ய்யார்த²ம்’ ம்ரு’தப்ராயே(அ)ப⁴வத்|

because for the work of the Christ he was near to death, not regarding his life, that he might supply that which was lacking in your service to me.
