1 ஸ்வர்க³ராஜ்யம் ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸா² கேநசித்³ க்³ரு’ஹஸ்யேந ஸமம்’, யோ(அ)திப்ரபா⁴தே நிஜத்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரே க்ரு’ஷகாந் நியோக்தும்’ க³தவாந்|
“For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.
2 பஸ்²சாத் தை: ஸாகம்’ தி³நைகப்⁴ரு’திம்’ முத்³ராசதுர்தா²ம்’ஸ²ம்’ நிரூப்ய தாந் த்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரம்’ ப்ரேரயாமாஸ|
When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 அநந்தரம்’ ப்ரஹரைகவேலாயாம்’ க³த்வா ஹட்டே கதிபயாந் நிஷ்கர்ம்மகாந் விலோக்ய தாநவத³த்,
He went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace.
4 யூயமபி மம த்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரம்’ யாத, யுஷ்மப்⁴யமஹம்’ யோக்³யப்⁴ரு’திம்’ தா³ஸ்யாமி, ததஸ்தே வவ்ரஜு: |
He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way.
5 புநஸ்²ச ஸ த்³விதீயத்ரு’தீயயோ: ப்ரஹரயோ ர்ப³ஹி ர்க³த்வா ததை²வ க்ரு’தவாந்|
Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 ததோ த³ண்ட³த்³வயாவஸி²ஷ்டாயாம்’ வேலாயாம்’ ப³ஹி ர்க³த்வாபராந் கதிபயஜநாந் நிஷ்கர்ம்மகாந் விலோக்ய ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந், யூயம்’ கிமர்த²ம் அத்ர ஸர்வ்வம்’ தி³நம்’ நிஷ்கர்ம்மாணஸ்திஷ்ட²த²?
About the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’
7 தே ப்ரத்யவத³ந், அஸ்மாந் ந கோபி கர்மமணி நியும்’க்தே| ததா³நீம்’ ஸ கதி²தவாந், யூயமபி மம த்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரம்’ யாத, தேந யோக்³யாம்’ ப்⁴ரு’திம்’ லப்ஸ்யத²|
“They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’
8 தத³நந்தரம்’ ஸந்த்⁴யாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம்’ ஸஏவ த்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரபதிரத்⁴யக்ஷம்’ க³தி³வாந், க்ரு’ஷகாந் ஆஹூய ஸே²ஷஜநமாரப்⁴ய ப்ரத²மம்’ யாவத் தேப்⁴யோ ப்⁴ரு’திம்’ தே³ஹி|
“When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’
9 தேந யே த³ண்ட³த்³வயாவஸ்தி²தே ஸமாயாதாஸ்தேஷாம் ஏகைகோ ஜநோ முத்³ராசதுர்தா²ம்’ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்நோத்|
“When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.
10 ததா³நீம்’ ப்ரத²மநியுக்தா ஜநா ஆக³த்யாநுமிதவந்தோ வயமதி⁴கம்’ ப்ரப்ஸ்யாம: , கிந்து தைரபி முத்³ராசதுர்தா²ம்’ஸோ²(அ)லாபி⁴|
When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius.
11 ததஸ்தே தம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா தேந க்ஷேத்ரபதிநா ஸாகம்’ வாக்³யுத்³த⁴ம்’ குர்வ்வந்த: கத²யாமாஸு: ,
When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household,
12 வயம்’ க்ரு’த்ஸ்நம்’ தி³நம்’ தாபக்லேஸௌ² ஸோட⁴வந்த: , கிந்து பஸ்²சாதாயா ஸே ஜநா த³ண்ட³த்³வயமாத்ரம்’ பரிஸ்²ராந்தவந்தஸ்தே(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸமாநாம்’ஸா²: க்ரு’தா: |
saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’
13 தத: ஸ தேஷாமேகம்’ ப்ரத்யுவாச, ஹே வத்ஸ, மயா த்வாம்’ ப்ரதி கோப்யந்யாயோ ந க்ரு’த: கிம்’ த்வயா மத்ஸமக்ஷம்’ முத்³ராசதுர்தா²ம்’ஸோ² நாங்கீ³க்ரு’த: ?
“But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius?
14 தஸ்மாத் தவ யத் ப்ராப்யம்’ ததா³தா³ய யாஹி, துப்⁴யம்’ யதி, பஸ்²சாதீயநியுக்தலோகாயாபி ததி தா³துமிச்சா²மி|
Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.
15 ஸ்வேச்ச²யா நிஜத்³ரவ்யவ்யவஹரணம்’ கிம்’ மயா ந கர்த்தவ்யம்’? மம தா³த்ரு’த்வாத் த்வயா கிம் ஈர்ஷ்யாத்³ரு’ஷ்டி: க்ரியதே?
Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’
16 இத்த²ம் அக்³ரீயலோகா: பஸ்²சதீயா ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, பஸ்²சாதீயஜநாஸ்²சக்³ரீயா ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, அஹூதா ப³ஹவ: கிந்த்வல்பே மநோபி⁴லஷிதா: |
So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.”
17 தத³நந்தரம்’ யீஸு² ர்யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரம்’ க³ச்ச²ந் மார்க³மத்⁴யே ஸி²ஷ்யாந் ஏகாந்தே வபா⁴ஷே,
As Yeshua was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,
18 பஸ்²ய வயம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரம்’ யாம: , தத்ர ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகாத்⁴யாபகாநாம்’ கரேஷு மநுஷ்யபுத்ர: ஸமர்பிஷ்யதே;
“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,
19 தே ச தம்’ ஹந்துமாஜ்ஞாப்ய திரஸ்க்ரு’த்ய வேத்ரேண ப்ரஹர்த்தும்’ க்ருஸே² தா⁴தயிதுஞ்சாந்யதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ கரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யந்தி, கிந்து ஸ த்ரு’தீயதி³வஸே ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தா²பிஷ்யதே|
and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.”
20 ததா³நீம்’ ஸிவதீ³யஸ்ய நாரீ ஸ்வபுத்ராவாதா³ய யீஸோ²: ஸமீபம் ஏத்ய ப்ரணம்ய கஞ்சநாநுக்³ரஹம்’ தம்’ யயாசே|
Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.
21 ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தாம்’ ப்ரோக்தவாந், த்வம்’ கிம்’ யாசஸே? தத: ஸா ப³பா⁴ஷே, ப⁴வதோ ராஜத்வே மமாநயோ: ஸுதயோரேகம்’ ப⁴வத்³த³க்ஷிணபார்ஸ்²வே த்³விதீயம்’ வாமபார்ஸ்²வ உபவேஷ்டும் ஆஜ்ஞாபயது|
He said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom.”
22 யீஸு²: ப்ரத்யுவாச, யுவாப்⁴யாம்’ யத்³ யாச்யதே, தந்ந பு³த்⁴யதே, அஹம்’ யேந கம்’ஸேந பாஸ்யாமி யுவாப்⁴யாம்’ கிம்’ தேந பாதும்’ ஸ²க்யதே? அஹஞ்ச யேந மஜ்ஜேநேந மஜ்ஜிஷ்யே, யுவாப்⁴யாம்’ கிம்’ தேந மஜ்ஜயிதும்’ ஸ²க்யதே? தே ஜக³து³: ஸ²க்யதே|
But Yeshua answered, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with?” They said to him, “We are able.”
23 ததா³ ஸ உக்தவாந், யுவாம்’ மம கம்’ஸேநாவஸ்²யம்’ பாஸ்யத²: , மம மஜ்ஜநேந ச யுவாமபி மஜ்ஜிஷ்யேதே², கிந்து யேஷாம்’ க்ரு’தே மத்தாதேந நிரூபிதம் இத³ம்’ தாந் விஹாயாந்யம்’ கமபி மத்³த³க்ஷிணபார்ஸ்²வே வாமபார்ஸ்²வே ச ஸமுபவேஸ²யிதும்’ மமாதி⁴காரோ நாஸ்தி|
He said to them, “You will indeed drink my cup, and be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give, but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”
24 ஏதாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வாந்யே த³ஸ²ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்தௌ ப்⁴ராதரௌ ப்ரதி சுகுபு: |
When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.
25 கிந்து யீஸு²: ஸ்வஸமீபம்’ தாநாஹூய ஜகா³த³, அந்யதே³ஸீ²யலோகாநாம்’ நரபதயஸ்தாந் அதி⁴குர்வ்வந்தி, யே து மஹாந்தஸ்தே தாந் ஸா²ஸதி, இதி யூயம்’ ஜாநீத²|
But Yeshua summoned them, and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
26 கிந்து யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே ந ததா² ப⁴வேத், யுஷ்மாகம்’ ய: கஸ்²சித் மஹாந் பு³பூ⁴ஷதி, ஸ யுஷ்மாந் ஸேவேத;
It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.
27 யஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே முக்²யோ பு³பூ⁴ஷதி, ஸ யுஷ்மாகம்’ தா³ஸோ ப⁴வேத்|
Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,
28 இத்த²ம்’ மநுஜபுத்ர: ஸேவ்யோ ப⁴விதும்’ நஹி, கிந்து ஸேவிதும்’ ப³ஹூநாம்’ பரித்ராணமூல்யார்த²ம்’ ஸ்வப்ராணாந் தா³துஞ்சாக³த: |
even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
29 அநந்தரம்’ யிரீஹோநக³ராத் தேஷாம்’ ப³ஹிர்க³மநஸமயே தஸ்ய பஸ்²சாத்³ ப³ஹவோ லோகா வவ்ரஜு: |
As they went out from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30 அபரம்’ வர்த்மபார்ஸ்²வ உபவிஸ²ந்தௌ த்³வாவந்தௌ⁴ தேந மார்கே³ண யீஸோ² ர்க³மநம்’ நிஸ²ம்ய ப்ரோச்சை: கத²யாமாஸது: , ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ தா³யூத³: ஸந்தாந, ஆவயோ ர்த³யாம்’ விதே⁴ஹி|
Behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Yeshua was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”
31 ததோ லோகா: ஸர்வ்வே துஷ்ணீம்ப⁴வதமித்யுக்த்வா தௌ தர்ஜயாமாஸு: ; ததா²பி தௌ புநருச்சை: கத²யாமாஸது: ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ தா³யூத³: ஸந்தாந, ஆவாம்’ த³யஸ்வ|
The multitude rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”
32 ததா³நீம்’ யீஸு²: ஸ்த²கி³த: ஸந் தாவாஹூய பா⁴ஷிதவாந், யுவயோ: க்ரு’தே மயா கிம்’ கர்த்தர்வ்யம்’? யுவாம்’ கிம்’ காமயேதே²?
Yeshua stood still and called them, and asked, “What do you want me to do for you?”
33 ததா³ தாவுக்தவந்தௌ, ப்ரபோ⁴ நேத்ராணி நௌ ப்ரஸந்நாநி ப⁴வேயு: |
They told him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”
34 ததா³நீம்’ யீஸு²ஸ்தௌ ப்ரதி ப்ரமந்ந: ஸந் தயோ ர்நேத்ராணி பஸ்பர்ஸ², தேநைவ தௌ ஸுவீக்ஷாஞ்சக்ராதே தத்பஸ்²சாத் ஜக்³முதுஸ்²ச|
Yeshua, being moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received their sight, and they followed him.
