प्रकाशितं 2
1 इफिषस्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रति त्वम् इदं लिख; यो दक्षिणकरेण सप्त तारा धारयति सप्तानां सुवर्णदीपवृक्षाणां मध्ये गमनागमने करोति च तेनेदम् उच्यते।
To the agent of the congregation in Ephesus write, These things says he who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
2 तव क्रियाः श्रमः सहिष्णुता च मम गोचराः, त्वं दुष्टान् सोढुं न शक्नोषि ये च प्रेरिता न सन्तः स्वान् प्रेरितान् वदन्ति त्वं तान् परीक्ष्य मृषाभाषिणो विज्ञातवान्,
I know thy works, and thy toil, and thy perseverance, and that thou cannot tolerate evil, and thou examined those who say themselves to be apostles, and are not, and found them false.
3 अपरं त्वं तितिक्षां विदधासि मम नामार्थं बहु सोढवानसि तथापि न पर्य्यक्लाम्यस्तदपि जानामि।
And thou have perseverance. And thou endured because of my name, and did not become weary.
4 किञ्च तव विरुद्धं मयैतत् वक्तव्यं यत् तव प्रथमं प्रेम त्वया व्यहीयत।
Nevertheless, I have against thee because thou left thy first love.
5 अतः कुतः पतितो ऽसि तत् स्मृत्वा मनः परावर्त्त्य पूर्व्वीयक्रियाः कुरु न चेत् त्वया मनसि न परिवर्त्तिते ऽहं तूर्णम् आगत्य तव दीपवृक्षं स्वस्थानाद् अपसारयिष्यामि।
Remember therefore from where thou have fallen, and repent and do the first works. And if not, I come to thee quickly, and will move thy lampstand out of its place, if thou do not repent.
6 तथापि तवेष गुणो विद्यते यत् नीकलायतीयलोकानां याः क्रिया अहम् ऋतीये तास्त्वमपि ऋतीयमे।
But this thou have, that thou hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु। यो जनो जयति तस्मा अहम् ईश्वरस्यारामस्थजीवनतरोः फलं भोक्तुं दास्यामि।
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations. To him who overcomes, I will give him to eat from the tree of life that is in the midst of the paradise of my God.
8 अपरं स्मुर्णास्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रतीदं लिख; य आदिरन्तश्च यो मृतवान् पुनर्जीवितवांश्च तेनेदम् उच्यते,
And to the agent of the congregation in Smyrna write, These things says the first and the last, who became dead, and lived:
9 तव क्रियाः क्लेशो दैन्यञ्च मम गोचराः किन्तु त्वं धनवानसि ये च यिहूदीया न सन्तः शयतानस्य समाजाः सन्ति तथापि स्वान् यिहूदीयान् वदन्ति तेषां निन्दामप्यहं जानामि।
I know thy works and tribulation and poverty (but thou are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say themselves to be Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10 त्वया यो यः क्लेशः सोढव्यस्तस्मात् मा भैषीः पश्य शयतानो युष्माकं परीक्षार्थं कांश्चित् कारायां निक्षेप्स्यति दश दिनानि यावत् क्लेशो युष्मासु वर्त्तिष्यते च। त्वं मृत्युपर्य्यन्तं विश्वास्यो भव तेनाहं जीवनकिरीटं तुभ्यं दास्यामि।
Fear none of the things that thou are going to suffer. Behold, the devil is indeed going to cast some of you into prison, so that ye may be tried, and ye will have tribulation ten days. Become thou faithful until death, and I will give thee the crown of life.
11 यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु। यो जयति स द्वितीयमृत्युना न हिंसिष्यते।
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations. He who overcomes will, no, not be hurt from the second death.
12 अपरं पर्गामस्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रतीदं लिख, यस्तीक्ष्णं द्विधारं खङ्गं धारयति स एव भाषते।
And to the agent of the congregation in Pergamos write, These things says he who has the sharp two-edged sword:
13 तव क्रिया मम गोचराः, यत्र शयतानस्य सिंहासनं तत्रैव त्वं वससि तदपि जानामि। त्वं मम नाम धारयसि मद्भक्तेरस्वीकारस्त्वया न कृतो मम विश्वास्यसाक्षिण आन्तिपाः समये ऽपि न कृतः। स तु युष्मन्मध्ये ऽघानि यतः शयतानस्तत्रैव निवसति।
I know thy works, and where thou dwell, where Satan's throne is. And thou hold firm my name, and did not deny my faith in the days in which Antipas was my faithful witness, who was killed among you where Satan dwells.
14 तथापि तव विरुद्धं मम किञ्चिद् वक्तव्यं यतो देवप्रसादादनाय परदारगमनाय चेस्रायेलः सन्तानानां सम्मुख उन्माथं स्थापयितुं बालाक् येनाशिक्ष्यत तस्य बिलियमः शिक्षावलम्बिनस्तव केचित् जनास्तत्र सन्ति।
But I have a few things against thee, because thou have there men who adhere to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a snare before the sons of Israel, even to eat idol sacrifices, and to fornicate.
15 तथा नीकलायतीयानां शिक्षावलम्बिनस्तव केचित् जना अपि सन्ति तदेवाहम् ऋतीये।
So also thou have men who likewise adhere to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16 अतो हेतोस्त्वं मनः परिवर्त्तय न चेदहं त्वरया तव समीपमुपस्थाय मद्वक्तस्थखङ्गेन तैः सह योत्स्यामि।
Repent therefore, and if not I come to thee quickly, and will war against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु। यो जनो जयति तस्मा अहं गुप्तमान्नां भोक्तुं दास्यामि शुभ्रप्रस्तरमपि तस्मै दास्यामि तत्र प्रस्तरे नूतनं नाम लिखितं तच्च ग्रहीतारं विना नान्येन केनाप्यवगम्यते।
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations. To him who overcomes, I will give him to eat of the hidden manna. And I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which none knows except he who receives it.
18 अपरं थुयातीरास्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रतीदं लिख। यस्य लोचने वह्निशिखासदृशे चरणौ च सुपित्तलसङ्काशौ स ईश्वरपुत्रो भाषते,
And to the agent of the congregation in Thyatira write, These things says the Son of God, who has his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet resembling highly refined metal:
19 तव क्रियाः प्रेम विश्वासः परिचर्य्या सहिष्णुता च मम गोचराः, तव प्रथमक्रियाभ्यः शेषक्रियाः श्रेष्ठास्तदपि जानामि।
I know thy works, and thy love and faith and service and perseverance. And thy last works are more than the first.
20 तथापि तव विरुद्धं मया किञ्चिद् वक्तव्यं यतो या ईषेबल्नामिका योषित् स्वां भविष्यद्वादिनीं मन्यते वेश्यागमनाय देवप्रसादाशनाय च मम दासान् शिक्षयति भ्रामयति च सा त्वया न निवार्य्यते।
Nevertheless, I have against thee that thou tolerate thy woman Jezebel. She calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and leads astray my bondmen to fornicate, and to eat idol sacrifices.
21 अहं मनःपरिवर्त्तनाय तस्यै समयं दत्तवान् किन्तु सा स्वीयवेश्याक्रियातो मनःपरिवर्त्तयितुं नाभिलषति।
And I gave her time so that she would repent, and she did not want to repent of her fornication.
22 पश्याहं तां शय्यायां निक्षेप्स्यामि, ये तया सार्द्धं व्यभिचारं कुर्व्वन्ति ते यदि स्वक्रियाभ्यो मनांसि न परावर्त्तयन्ति तर्हि तानपि महाक्लेशे निक्षेप्स्यामि
Behold, I throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, if they do not repent of her works.
23 तस्याः सन्तानांश्च मृत्युना हनिष्यामि। तेनाहम् अन्तःकरणानां मनसाञ्चानुसन्धानकारी युष्माकमेकैकस्मै च स्वक्रियाणां फलं मया दातव्यमिति सर्व्वाः समितयो ज्ञास्यन्ति।
And I will kill her children in death. And all the congregations will know that I am he who searches the inner feelings and hearts. And I will give to you-to each-according to your works.
24 अपरम् अवशिष्टान् थुयातीरस्थलोकान् अर्थतो यावन्तस्तां शिक्षां न धारयन्ति ये च कैश्चित् शयतानस्य गम्भीरार्था उच्यन्ते तान् ये नावगतवन्तस्तानहं वदामि युष्मासु कमप्यपरं भारं नारोपयिष्यामि;
But I say to you, to those remaining in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who do not know, as they say, the deep things of Satan, I do not cast upon you another burden.
25 किन्तु यद् युष्माकं विद्यते तत् ममागमनं यावद् धारयत।
But hold firm what ye have until I come.
26 यो जनो जयति शेषपर्य्यन्तं मम क्रियाः पालयति च तस्मा अहम् अन्यजातीयानाम् आधिपत्यं दास्यामि;
And he who overcomes, and he who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
27 पितृतो मया यद्वत् कर्तृत्वं लब्धं तद्वत् सो ऽपि लौहदण्डेन तान् चारयिष्यति तेन मृद्भाजनानीव ते चूर्णा भविष्यन्ति।
And he will tend them with a rod of iron (they will be shattered like ceramic vessels), as I also have received from my Father.
28 अपरम् अहं तस्मै प्रभातीयताराम् अपि दास्यामि।
And I will give him the morning star.
29 यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु।
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.
