१ करिन्थिनः 6

1 युष्माकमेकस्य जनस्यापरेण सह विवादे जाते स पवित्रलोकै र्विचारमकारयन् किम् अधार्म्मिकलोकै र्विचारयितुं प्रोत्सहते?

Dare any of you, having a matter against the other, go to law before the unrighteous and not before the sanctified?

2 जगतोऽपि विचारणं पवित्रलोकैः कारिष्यत एतद् यूयं किं न जानीथ? अतो जगद् यदि युष्माभि र्विचारयितव्यं तर्हि क्षुद्रतमविचारेषु यूयं किमसमर्थाः?

Or know ye not that the sanctified will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of very small legal disputes?

3 दूता अप्यस्माभि र्विचारयिष्यन्त इति किं न जानीथ? अत ऐहिकविषयाः किम् अस्माभि र्न विचारयितव्या भवेयुः?

Know ye not that we will judge agents? Then why not mundane things?

4 ऐहिकविषयस्य विचारे युष्माभिः कर्त्तव्ये ये लोकाः समितौ क्षुद्रतमास्त एव नियुज्यन्तां।

Indeed therefore whenever ye have mundane legal disputes, men who are disdained by the church, these ye seat to judge.

5 अहं युष्मान् त्रपयितुमिच्छन् वदामि यृष्मन्मध्ये किमेकोऽपि मनुष्यस्तादृग् बुद्धिमान्नहि यो भ्रातृविवादविचारणे समर्थः स्यात्?

I speak shame about you. So there is not among you not even one wise man who will be able to arbitrate between his brother?

6 किञ्चैको भ्राता भ्रात्रान्येन किमविश्वासिनां विचारकाणां साक्षाद् विवदते? यष्मन्मध्ये विवादा विद्यन्त एतदपि युष्माकं दोषः।

But brother goes to law against brother, and this before unbelievers?

7 यूयं कुतोऽन्यायसहनं क्षतिसहनं वा श्रेयो न मन्यध्वे?

Now therefore it is indeed altogether a defeat for you because ye have legal disputes against yourselves. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

8 किन्तु यूयमपि भ्रातृनेव प्रत्यन्यायं क्षतिञ्च कुरुथ किमेतत्?

Instead ye do wrong, and defraud, and these things to brothers.

9 ईश्वरस्य राज्येऽन्यायकारिणां लोकानामधिकारो नास्त्येतद् यूयं किं न जानीथ? मा वञ्च्यध्वं, ये व्यभिचारिणो देवार्च्चिनः पारदारिकाः स्त्रीवदाचारिणः पुंमैथुनकारिणस्तस्करा

Or know ye not that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not led astray. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate men, nor homosexuals,

10 लोभिनो मद्यपा निन्दका उपद्राविणो वा त ईश्वरस्य राज्यभागिनो न भविष्यन्ति।

nor greedy men, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor the slanderous, nor the predatory will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 यूयञ्चैवंविधा लोका आस्त किन्तु प्रभो र्यीशो र्नाम्नास्मदीश्वरस्यात्मना च यूयं प्रक्षालिताः पाविताः सपुण्यीकृताश्च।

And some of you were these things, but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

12 मदर्थं सर्व्वं द्रव्यम् अप्रतिषिद्धं किन्तु न सर्व्वं हितजनकं।मदर्थं सर्व्वमप्रतिषिद्धं तथाप्यहं कस्यापि द्रव्यस्य वशीकृतो न भविष्यामि।

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under control by anything.

13 उदराय भक्ष्याणि भक्ष्येभ्यश्चोदरं, किन्तु भक्ष्योदरे ईश्वरेण नाशयिष्येते; अपरं देहो न व्यभिचाराय किन्तु प्रभवे प्रभुश्च देहाय।

The foods are for the belly and the belly for foods, but God will abolish both this and these things. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

14 यश्चेश्वरः प्रभुमुत्थापितवान् स स्वशक्त्यास्मानप्युत्थापयिष्यति।

And God both raised up the Lord and will raise us up through his power.

15 युष्माकं यानि शरीराणि तानि ख्रीष्टस्याङ्गानीति किं यूयं न जानीथ? अतः ख्रीष्टस्य यान्यङ्गानि तानि मयापहृत्य वेश्याया अङ्गानि किं कारिष्यन्ते? तन्न भवतु।

Know ye not that your bodies are body-parts of Christ? Therefore, having taken the body-parts of the Christ, should I make them body-parts of a harlot? May it not happen!

16 यः कश्चिद् वेश्यायाम् आसज्यते स तया सहैकदेहो भवति किं यूयमेतन्न जानीथ? यतो लिखितमास्ते, यथा, तौ द्वौ जनावेकाङ्गौ भविष्यतः।

Or know ye not that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For, The two, he says, will be in one flesh.

17 मानवा यान्यन्यानि कलुषाणि कुर्व्वते तानि वपु र्न समाविशन्ति किन्तु व्यभिचारिणा स्वविग्रहस्य विरुद्धं कल्मषं क्रियते।

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

18 मानवा यान्यन्यानि कलुषाणि कुर्व्वते तानि वपु र्न समाविशन्ति किन्तु व्यभिचारिणा स्वविग्रहस्य विरुद्धं कल्मषं क्रियते।

Flee fornication. Every sin, whatever a man may do, is outside the body, but he who fornicates sins against his own body.

19 युष्माकं यानि वपूंसि तानि युष्मदन्तःस्थितस्येश्वराल्लब्धस्य पवित्रस्यात्मनो मन्दिराणि यूयञ्च स्वेषां स्वामिनो नाध्वे किमेतद् युष्माभि र्न ज्ञायते?

Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own,

20 यूयं मूल्येन क्रीता अतो वपुर्मनोभ्याम् ईश्वरो युष्माभिः पूज्यतां यत ईश्वर एव तयोः स्वामी।

for ye were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and your spirit, which is of God.
