1 Приложившие печати были: Неемия-Тиршафа, сын Гахалии, и Седекия,

Now, upon the sealed writings, were, —Nehemiah the governor, son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah;

2 Сераия, Азария, Иеремия,

Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah;

3 Пашхур, Амария, Малхия,

Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah;

4 Хаттуш, Шевания, Маллух,

Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch;

5 Харим, Меремоф, Овадия,

Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah;

6 Даниил, Гиннефон, Варух,

Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch;

7 Мешуллам, Авия, Миямин,

Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin;

And, the Levites, —Jeshua, son of Azaniah, Binnui, of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;

10 и братья их: Шевания, Годия, Клита, Фелаия, Ханан,

and, their brethren, —Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan;

11 Миха, Рехов, Хашавия,

Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah;

12 Закхур, Шеревия, Шевания,

Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah;

13 Годия, Ваний, Венинуй.

Hodiah, Bani, Beninu.

The heads of the people, —Parosh, Pahath-moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani;

15 Вунний, Азгар, Бевай,

28 И прочий народ, священники, левиты, привратники, певцы, нефинеи и все, отделившиеся от народов иноземных к закону Божию, жены их, сыновья их и дочери их, все, которые могли понимать,

And, the rest of the people—the priests, the Levites, the doorkeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and all who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons and their daughters, —every one having knowledge and understanding,

29 пристали к братьям своим, к почетнейшим из них, и вступили в обязательство с клятвою и проклятием - поступать по закону Божию, который дан рукою Моисея, раба Божия, и соблюдать и исполнять все заповеди Господа Бога нашего, и уставы Его и предписания Его,

were holding fast unto their distinguished brethren, and were entering into a curse and into an oath, to walk in the law of God, which was given through Moses the servant of God, —and to observe and do, all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, and his regulations, and his statutes;

30 и не отдавать дочерей своих иноземным народам, и их дочерей не брать за сыновей своих;

and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, —and, their daughters, would we not take for our sons;

31 и когда иноземные народы будут привозить товары и все продажное в субботу, не брать у них в субботу и в священный день, и в седьмой год оставлять долги всякого рода.

and, if the peoples of the land should be bringing in wares, or any corn on the sabbath day, to sell, we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day, —and that we would remit the seventh year, and the loan of every hand.

32 И поставили мы себе в закон давать от себя по трети сикля в год на потребности для дома Бога нашего:

And we laid on ourselves charges, appointing for ourselves the third of a shekel, yearly, —for the service of the house of our God:

33 на хлебы предложения, на всегдашнее хлебное приношение и на всегдашнее всесожжение, на субботы, на новомесячия, на праздники, на священные вещи на жертвы за грех для очищения Израиля, и на все, совершаемое в доме Бога нашего.

for the bread to set in array, and the continual meal-offering, and for the continual ascending-sacrifice, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the appointed feasts, and for things hallowed, and for victims bearing sin, to put a propitiatory-covering over Israel, —and for all the work of the house of our God.

34 И бросили мы жребии о доставке дров, священники, левиты и народ, когда которому поколению нашему в назначенные времена, из года в год, привозить их к дому Бога нашего, чтоб они горели на жертвеннике Господа Бога нашего, по написанному в законе.

Also, lots, did we cast, concerning the offering of wood among the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring it unto the house of our God, by our ancestral houses, at times arranged, year by year, —to burn upon the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law.

35 И обязались мы каждый год приносить в дом Господень начатки с земли нашей и начатки всяких плодов со всякого дерева;

And that we would bring in the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruit of all fruit of all trees, year by year, —unto the house of Yahweh;

36 также приводить в дом Бога нашего к священникам, служащим в доме Бога нашего, первенцев из сыновей наших и из скота нашего, как написано в законе, и первородное от крупного и мелкого скота нашего.

also that, the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, —and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, we would bring in unto the house of our God, unto the priests who should be in attendance in the house of our God;

37 И начатки из молотого хлеба нашего и приношений наших, и плодов со всякого дерева, вина и масла мы будем доставлять священникам в кладовые при доме Бога нашего и десятину с земли нашей левитам. Они, левиты, будут брать десятину во всех городах, где у нас земледелие.

and, the first part of our meal and our heave-offerings and the fruit of all trees, new wine and oil, would we bring in unto the priests, into the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground unto the Levites, —the Levites themselves, taking the tithes in all our cities of agriculture.

38 При левитах, когда они будут брать левитскую десятину, будет находиться священник, сын Аарона, чтобы левиты десятину из своих десятин отвозили в дом Бога нашего в комнаты, отделенные для кладовой,

And the priest the son of Aaron should be with the Levites, when the Levites should take the tithes, —and the Levites, should bring up the tithe of the tithe, unto the house of our God, into the chambers pertaining unto the treasure-house.

39 потому что в эти комнаты как сыны Израилевы, так и левиты должны доставлять приносимое в дар: хлеб, вино и масло. Там священные сосуды, и служащие священники, и привратники, и певцы. И мы не оставим дома Бога нашего.

For, into the chambers, should the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi bring in the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine and the oil, since, there, are the utensils of the sanctuary, and the priests who are in attendance, and the doorkeepers, and the singers, —so would we not neglect the house of our God.
