Yohanis 14
1 Yesus tute oꞌolan nae, “Ama afiꞌ duꞌa-duꞌaꞌ. Mimihere neu Lamatualain. Ma mimihere neu Au boe.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 Sia Au Ama ngga mamana leleon, hambu kama hetar. Mete ma mamanaꞌ nda dai sa, na, neꞌo Au ufadꞌe memaꞌ neu nggi ena. Leleꞌ ia Au ae uu sadꞌia hela fee nggi mamanaꞌ sia naa.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 Leleꞌ Au uu ena, ma sadꞌia ala hei mamana mara ena na, dei fo Au baliꞌ uma fo ama tungga mimiloloꞌ mo Au. No taꞌo naa, Au sia bee naa, hei o sia naa boe.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 Huu, hei mihine dalaꞌ nisiꞌ mamanaꞌ fo Au ae uuꞌ a.”
And where I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Te Tomas natane E nae, “Papa, e! Hai nda bubꞌuluꞌ Papa nae neu sia bee saa boe. Dadꞌi taꞌo bee fo hai bisa mihine dalaꞌ nisiꞌ naa neu?”
Thomas saith to him, Lord, we know not where thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Boe ma Yesus nafadꞌe nae, “Nda hambu dalaꞌ laen mana noo atahori reu risiꞌ Amaꞌ sia sorga sa. Tungga akaꞌ Au mesaꞌ nggo. Huu Au ia, dalaꞌ mana neu sia Lamatualain. Au ia, mana toꞌu saa fo ndoo-tetuꞌ a. Ma Au ia, mana fee atahori masodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ a. Nda hambu dalaꞌ laen sa.
Jesus saith to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.
7 Mete ma hei mihine tebꞌe Au, na, hei o mihine Au Ama ngga boe. Dadꞌi eniꞌ a mia leleꞌ ia, hei mihine Eni ena, ma mita Eni ena boe.”
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Filipus noꞌe nae, “Papa, e! Tulun mutudꞌu Amam neu hai dei! Huu akaꞌ naa o dai ena.”
Philip saith to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not from myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Mimihere Au leleꞌ ae, Au nenepaꞌaꞌ maloleꞌ o Ama ngga, ma Ana nenepaꞌaꞌ maloleꞌ no Au boe. Te mete ma hei nda mimihere taꞌo naa sa, na, mimihere Au huu ama mita dalaꞌ fo Au taoꞌ ra.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Au oꞌola ngga naa, tebꞌe! Huu atahori mana namahere Au, dei fo ana o tao dalaꞌ onaꞌ Au taoꞌ ra boe. Te, huu Au uu sia Ama ngga, de saa fo atahori naa tao, dei fo manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ mia Au taoꞌ ra.
Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.
13 Hei mana nenepaꞌaꞌ mo Au, miꞌena hak fo mendi Au nara ngga. Dadꞌi mete ma ama hule-oꞌe moꞌe sudꞌiꞌ a saa, mendiꞌ Au nara ngga, dei fo Au tao fee nggi. No taꞌo naa, Au soꞌu unanaru Ama ngga, naa fo basa atahori bubꞌuluꞌ.
And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 Au ufadꞌe seluꞌ fai: ama hule-oꞌe moꞌe sudꞌiꞌ a saa, mendiꞌ Au nara ngga, dei fo Au tao fee nggi.”
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 Yesus tute oꞌolan nae, “Mete ma hei sue Au, na, ama tao tungga Au parenda ngga.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 Au oꞌe Ama ngga, dei fo, mete ma Au nda uꞌubꞌue o nggi sa ena, na, Ana fee nggi Mana Nuni esa fo natudꞌu dalaꞌ fee nggi. Eni, Lamatualain Dula-dalen, mana nanori nggi ndoo-tetuꞌ a. Atahori ruma sia raefafoꞌ ia nda nau simbo E sa, huu ara nda bisa rita ma nda rahine E sa. Te ama mihine E huu Eni nenepaꞌaꞌ noo nggi. Dei fo Ana nasodꞌa sia rala mara. Ma dei fo Ana naꞌabꞌue nakandoo noo nggi boe. (aiōn g165)
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (aiōn g165)
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 Leleꞌ Au usodꞌa baliꞌ, na hei mihine tebꞌe mae, Au nenepaꞌaꞌ o Ama ngga; hei nenepaꞌaꞌ mo Au; ma Au nenepaꞌaꞌ o nggi boe.
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 Atahori mana simbo ma tao tungga Au parenda ngga ra, na, eni mana sue Au. Ma Ama ngga o sue atahori mana sue Au onaꞌ naa boe. Au o sue eni, ma utudꞌu Ao ngga neu e boe.”
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.

Judas, not Iscariot, saith to him, Lord, how is it that thou wilt reveal thyself to us, and not to the world?

Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loveth me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.
24 Te atahori nda mana sue Au sa, ana nda tao tungga Dedꞌea-oꞌola ngga sa. Naa, basa dalaꞌ fo hei rena mia Au ia, nda naꞌoka sia Au sa, te naꞌoka sia Ama ngga mana denu Au ia.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but that of the Father who sent me.
25 Leleꞌ ia Au feꞌe uꞌubꞌue o nggi. Naa de Au ufadꞌe memaꞌ dalaꞌ ia ra.
These things have I spoken to you, being yet present with you.
26 Te doo-doo, Ama ngga haitua Mana Nuni esa nema, naeni Eni Dula-dale Meumaren. Dula-daleꞌ naa dei fo nggati Au sia raefafoꞌ ia. Eni tataon, naeni: nenori basa dalaꞌ ra reu nggi, ma fee nesenenedꞌaꞌ basa dalaꞌ fo Au parna ufadꞌe neu nggiꞌ a ena.
But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.
27 Leleꞌ Au lao ena, Au tao fo ama bisa misodꞌa no mole-dame ma nenee-linolino. Akaꞌ Au mana fee mole-dame mataꞌ naa. Basa mana sia raefafoꞌ ia nda bisa tao rala mara nenee-linolino onaꞌ naa sa. Dadꞌi afiꞌ fee rala mara dudꞌuꞌa leli, ma nemetau.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world giveth, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Hei rena Au ufadꞌe ita nggi ena ae, ‘Au lao hela nggi, basa dei fo baliꞌ uma.’ Rala mara afiꞌ susa. Mete ma hei sue Au, na, rala mara mimihoꞌo, huu Au uu sia Ama ngga. Au Ama ngga naa, manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ Au.
Ye have heard that I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 Misinedꞌa, Au ufadꞌe memaꞌ neu nggi ena. No taꞌo naa, leleꞌ dalaꞌ ia ra dadꞌi, na hei bisa mimihere Au ena.
And now I have told you before it cometh to pass, that, when it hath come to pass, ye may believe.
30 Nda dooꞌ sa te, Au nda ola-olaꞌ o nggi sa ena. Huu nitu ra malanggan nema ena. Ana toꞌu parendaꞌ sia raefafoꞌ ia, te koasan nda dai Au sa.
After this I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 Mae ana nema, te Au laoꞌ ukundoo fo tao tungga Ama ngga parendan. Naa natudꞌu neu atahori sia raefafoꞌ ia oi, Au sue useliꞌ Ama ngga. De, ima fo teu leo!”
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
