Dud'uit Fefeu' a 15
1 Basa ma, Lamatualain natud'u Aon neu Abram nae, “Abram! Afi' mumutau. Au usula'e nggo mia musu ma. Ma Au fee nggo hahambu' nae'.”
After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I [am] thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward.
2 Te Abram nae, “Eee, Lamatualain. Ona' mae Lamatualain nae fee au nae' o, nda ngguna saa sa' boe. Huu au nda ma ana' fo fee au tititi-nonosi' sa. Dad'i hambu hata-heto' nae-nae tao neu saa? Ne'o aka' au ate ngga, Eliasar mia Damsik, hambu basa se.”
And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house [is] this Eliezer of Damascus?
And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
4 Te LAMATUALAIN nataa nae, “Nda ta'o naa sa! Te ho ana ma mana hambu hata-heto ma, nda ate a sa.”
And, behold, the word of the LORD [came] unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
5 Boe ma Ana no Abram dea neu, de nafad'e nae, “Mete lalai a dei. Mete sob'a nduu' ra. Ho reken mala se, do? Tititi-nonosi mara dei fo ramaheta ona' nduu' ra boe!”
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
6 Abram rena nala ma, ana simbo LAMATUALAIN o'ola na. De LAMATUALAIN uku nae, Abram rala ndos, huu namahere E.
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
7 LAMATUALAIN ola' tute nae, “Au ia, Lamatualain. Au mana o nggo lao hela kambo Ur sia atahori Kasdim rae na. Au mana fee rae ia dad'i hata-heto ma.”
And he said unto him, I [am] the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
8 Abram natane nae, “Dad'i ta'o bee LAMATUALAIN? Ta'o bee fo uhine ae rae ia dad'i au hata-heto ngga?”
And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
9 Boe ma nataa nae, “Ta'o ia! Uma fo ata tao dala' esa dad'i hehelu-fufuli' neu Au o'ola Ngga fa' ra. De muu ha'i banda fee Au. Naeni, sapi ine sa, hiek ine sa, ma bib'i lombo mone sa. Basa se musi too be'e telu'. Boe ma mendi selu' mbui teu esa, no mbui lunda esa.”
And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
10 Boe ma Abram neu ha'i basa banda naa ra. De ana sefa se reu be'e rua'. Ana mbed'a' sisi naa ra banggi rua neu rae, esa mbali esa, dad'i dala' rua. Te ana nda sefa mbui' ra sa.
And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
11 Dei de mbui-mbui' mana naa sisi mburu' ra rema rae raa sisi naa ra. Te Abram oi hendi se.
And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.
12 Relo a nae mopo ma, Abram sunggu' nasambeta ma nalamein nae, ma'ahatu' a tatana nala e, losa namatau seli.
And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
13 Ma Lamatualain nafad'e e nae, “Abram! Dei fo musod'a losa mumulasi mala seli, ma mate mo nemeho'ot, fo ra'oi nggo no malolole. Te tititi-nonosi mara dad'i atahori manatain sia atahori fea' nusa na. Dei fo atahori sia nusa' naa tao se dad'i ate, ma tuni-ndeni se losa too natun haa. Te Au huku-doki nusa' naa atahori nara. Basa fo Au o tititi-nonosi mara lao hela naa, ma rendi basa hata-heto nara.
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites [is] not yet full.
17 Tetemba na aiboi' ma, hura rae sa namasu, ma mbele sa mbila, ra'aunda' tungga sisi dala karua' ra talad'a na.
And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
18 Lele' naa, LAMATUALAIN helu-fuli no Abram nae, “Au helu fee nusa' ia neu tititi-nonosi mara, mia loe Masir, losa loe Efrat,
In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
19 ma atahori Keni, Kenas, Kadmon,
The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
20 Het, Feris, Refaim,
And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
21 Amori, Kana'an, Girgasi, ma Yebus rae nara.”
And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
