Luka 22
1 Avela ine paše i Pasha, savi inele prvo dive oto Prazniko e bikvascone marengoro.
The feast of the unleavened bread, known as the Passover, was near.
2 O šerutne sveštenici hem o učitelja e Zakonestar rodena ine sar te ćeren o Isus te ovel mudardo, ali darandile e narodostar.
The chief priest and the teachers of the Law were looking for an opportunity of destroying Jesus, for they were afraid of the people.
3 Tegani o Sotoni đerdinđa ano Juda vičime Iskariot kova inele jekh oto dešuduj apostolja e Isusesere.
Now Satan took possession of Judas, who was known as Iscariot, and who belonged to the Twelve;
4 Ov dželo koro šerutne sveštenici hem koro narednici e hramesere hem dogovorinđa pe olencar sar te predel lenđe e Isuse.
and he went and discussed with the chief priests and officers in charge at the Temple the best way of betraying Jesus to them.

They were glad of this, and agreed to pay him.

So Judas assented, and looked for an opportunity to betray Jesus to them, in the absence of a crowd.

When the day of the Festival of the unleavened bread came, on which the Passover lambs had to be killed,
8 o Isus phenđa e Petrese hem e Jovanese: “Džan hem ćeren amenđe e pashakoro hajba te šaj te ha.”
Jesus sent forward Peter and John, saying to them, “Go and make preparations for our eating the Passover.”
9 A on phende lese: “Kaj mangeja te ćera la?”
“Where do you wish us to make preparations?” they asked.
10 Ov phenđa lenđe: “Šunen. So ka đerdinen ki diz Jerusalim, ka resel tumen jekh manuš kova akhari pani ano khoro. Džan palo leste. Ko čher ko savo ka đerdini
“Listen,” he answered, “when you have reached the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him into whatever house he enters;

and you will say to the owner of the house ‘The teacher says to you – Where is the room where I am to eat the Passover with my disciples?’

The man will show you a large upstairs room, set out; there make preparations.”
13 I on džele hem arakhle sa ađahar sar so phenđa lenđe o Isus i adari čhivde zako hajba e pashakoro.
So Peter and John went on, and found everything just as Jesus had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
14 I kad alo o vreme te hal pe i Pasha, o Isus čhivđa pe uzalo astali ple apostolencar.
When the time came, Jesus took his place at the table, and the apostles with him.
15 I phenđa lenđe: “Edobor zorale mangljum te hav akaja pasha tumencar angleder nego so ka ovav mučime hem mudardo.
“I have most earnestly wished,” he said, “to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
16 Adalese so, vaćerava tumenđe, naka hav aver Pasha đikote lakoro čačimasoro značenje na pherđola ano carstvo e Devlesoro.”
For I tell you that I will not eat it again, until it has had its fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”
17 Tegani lelja i čaša e moljaja, zahvalinđa e Devlese hem phenđa e apostolenđe: “Len akaja mol hem ulaven la maškara tumende.
Then, on receiving a cup, after saying the thanksgiving, he said, “Take this and share it among you.
18 Adalese so, vaćerava tumenđe, naka pijav više mol đikote o carstvo e Devlesoro na avela.”
For I tell you that I will not, after today, drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God has come.”
19 I lelja o maro, zahvalinđa e Devlese, phaglja le hem ulavđa le e apostolenđe vaćerindoj: “Akavai mlo telo savo dela pe tumenđe. Akava nastavinen te ćeren te setinen tumen mandar.”
Then Jesus took some bread, and, after saying the thanksgiving, broke it and gave to them, with the words, “This is my body.

Yet see! The hand of the man who is betraying me is beside me on the table!

True, the Son of Man is passing, by the way ordained for him, yet alas for that man by whom he is being betrayed!”

Then they began questioning one another which of them it could be who was going to do this.
24 I o apostolja lelje te raspravinen pe kovai olendar najbaro.
And a dispute arose among them as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest.
25 A o Isus phenđa lenđe: “Avere nacijengere carija vladinena upro lende hem o vladarija lengere pumen vičinena ‘manuša kola ćerena šukaripe’.
Jesus, however, said, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their oppressors are styled ‘Benefactors.’
26 Ali tumen ma oven esavke! Nego, o najbaro maškar tumende nek ovel sar najtikoro, a o vođa nek ovel sar sluga.
But with you it must not be so. No, let the greatest among you become like the youngest, and him who leads like him who serves.
27 A kovai po baro? Okova kovai uzalo astali ili okova kova kandela le? Ini okova kovai uzalo astali? A me maškara tumende injum sar okova kova kandela.
Which is the greater – the master at the table or his servant? Is not it the master at the table? Yet I myself am among you as one who serves.
28 Tumen injen adala kola ačhile mancar ano mle iskušenja.
You are the men who have stood by me in my trials;
29 I me dava tumen autoritet te vladinen ano carstvo, sar so mlo Dad o Devel dinđa man:
and, just as my Father has assigned me a kingdom, I assign you places,
30 te han hem te pijen maje uzalo astali ano carstvo mlo, hem te bešen ko tronja te vladinen upro dešuduj plemija e Izraelesere.”
so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and be seated on twelve thrones as judges of the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 O Isus phenđa: “Simone, Simone, ače o Sotoni rodinđa e Devlestar te mukel lese te proverini tumari vera ana mande sar kad neko čhorela o điv maškari sita.
Simon! Simon! listen. Satan demanded leave to sift you all like wheat,
32 Ali me molinđum tuće te ačhol ti vera ana mande. Džanav da ka hovave da na pendžareja man, ali kad ka irine ti vera ana mande, zorjar te phraljengiri vera.”
but I prayed for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. And you, when you have returned to me, are to strengthen the others.”
33 A ov phenđa lese: “Gospode, injum spremno te džav tuja hem ko phandlipe hem ko meriba.”
“Master,” said Peter, “with you I am ready to go both to prison and to death.”
34 A o Isus phenđa: “Vaćerava će, Petre, o bašno naka đilabi avdive đikote trin puti naka hovave da na pendžareja man.”
“I tell you, Peter,” replied Jesus, “the cock will not crow today until you have disowned all knowledge of me three times.”
35 I phenđa e apostolenđe: “Kad bičhalđum tumen ko drom bizo kese lovencar, bizo torbe hem bizi buderi obuća, na li falinđa tumenđe nešto?” A on phende: “Ništa.”
Then he said to them all, “When I sent you out as my messengers, without either purse, or bag, or sandals, were you in need of anything?” “No; nothing,” they answered.
36 Tegani o Isus phenđa lenđe: “Ali akana kas isi kesa e lovencar, nek lel la! Ađahar hem i torba! A kas nane mači, nek biknel plo ogrtači hem nek činelfse jekh.
“Now, however,” he said, “he who has a purse must take it and his bag as well; and he who has not must sell his cloak and buy a sword.
37 Adalese so, vaćerava tumenđe, valjani te pherđol adava soi mandar pisime ko Sveto lil: ‘Dikhle le sar jekhe okolendar kola ćerena bišukaripe.’ Čače, pherđola sa soi pisime mandar.”
For, I tell you, that passage of scripture must be fulfilled in me, which says – ‘He was counted among the godless’; indeed all that refers to me is finding its fulfillment.”
38 A on phende: “Gospode, ače isi amen duj mačija!” A ov phenđa: “Šukari!”
“Master,” they exclaimed, “look, here are two swords!” “Enough!” said Jesus.
39 I iklindoj adathar, palo plo adeti, dželo ki E maslinakiri gora. Oleja džele hem lesere učenici.
Jesus then went out, and made his way as usual to the Mount of Olives, followed by his disciples.
40 I kad resle adari, phenđa lenđe: “Molinen tumen te na peren ko iskušenje!”
And, when he reached the spot, he said to them, “Pray that you may not fall into temptation.”
41 I cidinđa pe dur olendar, edobor kobor šaj te frdel pe o bar, pelo ko kočija hem molinđa pe e Devlese,
Then he withdrew about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and began to pray.
42 vaćerindoj: “Dade! Te mangeja, cide akaja čaša e patnjaja mandar, te na pijav olatar. Ali, nek ovel pali ti volja, a na pali mli.”
“Father,” he said, “if it is your pleasure, spare me this cup; only, not my will but your be done.”
43 Tegani o anđeo mothovđa pe lese taro nebo hem hrabrinđa le.
Presently there appeared to him an angel from heaven, who strengthened him.
44 A kad inele ani po bari patnja, po zorale molinđa pe. Lesoro znoj ulo sar kapke oto rat save perena ine upri phuv.
And, as his anguish became intense, he prayed still more earnestly, while his sweat was like great drops of blood falling on the ground.
45 I pali molitva uštino, alo đi ple učenici hem arakhlja len sar sovena adalese so inele umorna taro tugujiba.
Then he rose from praying, and came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow.
46 Tegani phenđa lenđe: “Sose sovena? Ušten hem molinen tumen te na peren ko iskušenje!”
“Why are you asleep?” he asked them. “Rise and pray so that you don’t fall into temptation.”
47 Sar pana o Isus vaćeri ine adava, ale nakoro leste but manuša kolen anđa o Juda kova inele jekh oto dešuduj apostolja. Ov alo koro Isus te čumudini le ki čham.
While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared in sight, led by the man called Judas, who was one of the Twelve. Judas approached Jesus, to kiss him;
48 A o Isus pučlja le: “Judo, čumudipnaja li predeja man, e Čhave e manušesere?”
at which Jesus said to him, “Judas, is it by a kiss that you betray the Son of Man?”
49 Kad o učenici kola inele adari dikhle so o Isus ka ovel dolime, pučle le: “Gospode, te napadina len li e mačencar?”
But when those who were around Jesus saw what was going to happen, they exclaimed, “Master, should we use our swords?”
50 I jekh olendar khuvđa mačeja e šerutne sveštenikosere sluga hem čhinđa lesoro desno kan.
And one of them struck the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear;
51 A o Isus phenđa ple učenikonenđe: “Ačhaven tumen adalestar! Muken len te ćeren adava!” I čhivđa plo vas ko than kote o sluga inele čhindo hem sasljarđa le.
at which Jesus said, “Let me at least do this”; and, touching his ear, he healed the wound.
52 Tegani phenđa okolenđe so ale te dolen le, e šerutne sveštenikonenđe, e hramesere narednikonenđe hem e starešinenđe: “Mačencar hem kaštencar aljen pala mande sar palo pobunjeniko.
Then, turning to the chief priests and officers in charge at the Temple and the elders, who had come for him, he said, “Have you come out, as if after a robber, with swords and clubs?
53 Divencar injumle tumencar ano Hram, i na dolinđen man. Ali akavai tumaro vreme hem o zoralipe e tominakoro vladini.”
When I was with you day after day in the Temple Courts, you did not lay hands on me; but now your time has come, and the power of darkness.”
54 I dolinde e Isuse hem adathar legarde le ko čher e bare sveštenikosoro. A o Petar odural džala ine palo lende.
Those who had taken Jesus prisoner took him away into the house of the high priest. Peter followed at a distance.
55 Kad resle, tharde jag ko maškar e borosoro hem bešle uzalo late. O Petar bešlo olencar.
But, when they had lit a fire in the centre of the courtyard and had all sat down there, Peter seated himself in the middle of them.
56 I nesavi sluškinja dikhlja le sar bešela uzali jag, i po šukar dikhlja ano leste hem phenđa: “I akava inele e dolime manušeja!”
Presently a maidservant saw him sitting near the blaze of the fire. She looked carefully at him and said, “Why, this man was one of his companions!”
57 A o Petar hovavđa vaćerindoj: “Đuvlije, na pendžarava le!”
But Peter denied it. “I do not know him,” he replied.
58 Na nakhlo but palo adava, dikhlja le nesavo aver manuš hem phenđa: “I tu injan jekh okolendar kola inele e dolime manušeja!” A o Petar phenđa: “Manušeja, na injum!”
A little while afterward someone else – a man – saw him and said, “Why, you are one of them!” “No,” Peter said, “I am not.”
59 I kad nakhlo đi ko jekh sati, aver nesavo odlučime phenđa: “Čače akava inele e dolime manušeja, adalese soi hem ov Galilejco!”
About an hour later another man declared positively, “This man also was certainly with him. Why, he is a Galilean!”
60 A o Petar phenđa: “Manušeja, na džanav sostar vaćereja!” I ko adava momenti, sar pana vaćeri ine, o bašno đilabđa.
But Peter said, “I do not know what you are speaking about.” Instantly, while he was still speaking, a cock crowed.
61 Tegani o Gospod o Isus irinđa pe hem dikhlja ano Petar, a o Petar setinđa pe lesere lafendar: “Vaćerava će, Petre, angleder so o bašno avdive ka đilabi, trin puti ka hovave da na pendžareja man.”
And the Master turned and looked at Peter; and Peter remembered the words that the Master had said to him – “Before a cock has crowed today, you will disown me three times”;
62 I iklilo taro boro hem zorale runđa.
and he went outside and wept bitterly.
63 O čuvarija lelje te maren muj e Isuseja hem te maren le.
The men who held Jesus kept making sport of him and beating him.
64 Učharde lesere jaćha hem phende lese: “Prorokujin ko khuvđa tut!”
They blindfolded him and then questioned him. “Now play the prophet,” they said. “Who was it that struck you?”
65 I bute avere lafencar vređinena ine e Isuse.
And they heaped many other insults on him.
66 Kad dislilo, čedinde pe o starešine e jevrejengere, o šerutne sveštenici hem o učitelja e Zakonestar, ande e Isuse pumenđe ko sabor
At daybreak the assembly of the elders of the people met – both the chief priests and the teachers of the Law – and took Jesus before their High Council.
67 hem phende lese: “Te injan tu o Hrist, phen amenđe!” A ov phenđa lenđe: “Te phenđum tumenđe, naka verujinen;
“If you are the Christ,” they said, “tell us so.” “If I tell you,” replied Jesus, “you will not believe me;
68 a te pučljum tumen e Hristestar, naka odgovorinen.
and, if I question you, you will not answer.
69 Ali od akana me, o Čhavo e manušesoro, ka bešav ko počasno than uzalo zoralipe e Devlesoro.”
But from this hour the Son of Man will be seated on the right hand of God Almighty.”
70 A on sare pučle e Isuse: “Znači tu injan o Čhavo e Devlesoro?” A ov phenđa lenđe: “Korkore šukar phenđen da injum.”
“Are you, then, the Son of God?” they all asked. “It is true,” answered Jesus, “I am.”
71 Tegani on phende: “Na valjani amenđe više dokazija dai krivo. Sare amen šunđam da korkoro pes osudinđa!”
At this they exclaimed, “Why do we want any more evidence? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!”
