Isaías 52
1 Despertai, despertai! Ponha suas forças, Zion. Vista suas belas vestes, Jerusalém, a cidade santa, pois de agora em diante os incircuncisos e os impuros não mais entrarão em você.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Sacuda-se do pó! Levante-se, sente-se, Jerusalém! Liberte-se dos laços de seu pescoço, filha cativa de Zion!
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Para Yahweh diz: “Você foi vendido por nada; e você será resgatado sem dinheiro”.
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Para o Senhor Yahweh diz: “Meu povo desceu pela primeira vez ao Egito para viver lá; e o assírio os oprimiu sem causa.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 “Agora, portanto, o que eu faço aqui”, diz Yahweh, “vendo que meu povo é levado para nada? Aqueles que governam sobre eles zombam”, diz Yahweh, “e meu nome é blasfemado continuamente durante todo o dia”.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Portanto, meu povo deve saber meu nome. Portanto, eles saberão naquele dia que eu sou aquele que fala. Eis que sou eu”.
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Como são bonitos nas montanhas os pés daquele que traz boas notícias, que publica a paz, que traz boas notícias, que proclama a salvação, que diz a Sião: “Seu Deus reina!”
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Seus vigilantes levantam sua voz. Juntos eles cantam; pois eles estarão de acordo quando Yahweh retornar a Zion.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Entre na alegria! Cantem juntos, vocês desperdiçam lugares de Jerusalém; pois Yahweh tem confortado seu povo. Ele resgatou Jerusalém.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Yahweh fez seu braço sagrado ficar nu aos olhos de todas as nações. Todos os confins da Terra viram a salvação de nosso Deus.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Partida! Partida! Saia de lá! Não toque em nada impuro! Saia do meio dela! Limpem-se, vocês que carregam as embarcações de Yahweh.
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 Para você não deve sair à pressa, também não deve ir de avião; para Yahweh irá antes de você, e o Deus de Israel será sua retaguarda.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Eis que meu servo tratará sabiamente. Ele será exaltado e erguido, e será muito alto.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 Muitos também ficaram surpresos com você. sua aparência foi prejudicada mais do que qualquer homem, e sua forma mais do que os filhos dos homens...
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 para que ele limpe muitas nações. Os reis vão fechar a boca para ele; pois eles verão o que não lhes havia sido dito, e eles entenderão o que não tinham ouvido.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
