Oséias 2
1 “Diga a seus irmãos: “Meu povo! e a suas irmãs, “Minha amada!”.
Say vnto your brethren, Ammi, and to your sisters, Ruhamah,
2 Contend com sua mãe! Contender, pois ela não é minha esposa, nem eu sou seu marido; e deixá-la afastar a prostituição de seu rosto, e seus adultérios de entre seus seios;
Plead with your mother: plead with her: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: but let her take away her fornications out of her sight, and her adulteries from betweene her breasts.
3 lest Eu a despojo nua, e fazê-la nua como no dia em que ela nasceu, e fazê-la como um sertão selvagem, e a colocaram como uma terra seca, e matá-la com sede.
Lest I strippe her naked, and set her as in the day that shee was borne, and make her as a wildernes, and leaue her like a drie land, and slaie her for thirst.
4 De fato, em seus filhos eu não terei misericórdia, pois eles são filhos da infidelidade.
And I wil haue no pitie vpon her children: for they be the children of fornications.
5 Pois sua mãe fez o papel da prostituta. Ela que os concebeu fez vergonhosamente; pois ela disse: “Eu irei atrás de meus amantes”, que me dão meu pão e minha água, minha lã e meu linho, meu óleo e minha bebida”.
For their mother hath plaied the harlot: she that conceiued them, hath done shamefully: for shee said, I will goe after my louers that giue me my bread and my water, my wooll and my flaxe, mine oyle and my drinke.
6 Por isso, eis que eu vou cercar seu caminho com espinhos, e vou construir um muro contra ela, que ela não consegue encontrar seu caminho.
Therefore beholde, I will stoope thy way with thornes, and make an hedge, that shee shall not finde her pathes.
7 Ela seguirá depois de seus amantes, mas ela não vai ultrapassá-los; e ela as buscará, mas não as encontrará. Então ela dirá: 'Eu irei e voltarei para meu primeiro marido', pois naquela época era melhor comigo do que agora”.
Though shee follow after her louers, yet shall shee not come at them: though shee seeke them, yet shall shee not finde them: then shall she say, I will goe and returne to my first husband: for at that time was I better then nowe.
8 Pois ela não sabia que eu lhe dava o grão, o vinho novo e o óleo, e se multiplicaram para sua prata e ouro, que usaram para Baal.
Nowe she did not knowe that I gaue her corne, and wine, and oyle, and multiplied her siluer and golde, which they bestowed vpon Baal.
9 Portanto, vou recuperar meu grão em seu tempo, e meu novo vinho em sua estação, e arrancará minha lã e meu linho, que deveriam ter coberto sua nudez.
Therefore wil I returne, and take away my corne in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recouer my wool and my flaxe lent, to couer her shame.
10 Agora vou desvendar sua lascívia aos olhos de seus amantes, e ninguém a entregará de minhas mãos.
And now will I discouer her lewdnes in the sight of her louers, and no man shall deliuer her out of mine hand.
11 Também farei cessar todas as suas comemorações: suas festas, suas luas novas, seus sábados, e todas as suas assembléias solenes.
I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast daies, her newe moones, and her Sabbathes, and all her solemne feasts.
12 Desperdiçarei suas videiras e suas figueiras, sobre o qual ela disse: “Estes são os meus salários que os meus amantes me deram”. e eu farei deles uma floresta, e os animais do campo devem comê-los.
And I wil destroy her vines and her figtrees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my louers haue giuen mee: and I will make them as a forest, and the wilde beasts shall eate them.
13 I visitará nela os dias dos Baals, para o qual ela queimou incenso quando ela se adornou com seus brincos e suas jóias, e foi atrás de seus amantes e me esqueceu”, diz Yahweh.
And I wil visit vpon her the daies of Baalim, wherein shee burnt incense to them: and shee decked her selfe with her earings and her iewels, and shee folowed her louers, and forgate me, saith the Lord.
14 “Portanto, eis que eu a atrairei, e trazê-la para o deserto, e falar ternamente com ela.
Therefore beholde, I will allure her, and bring her into the wildernesse, and speake friendly vnto her.
15 Eu lhe darei vinhedos a partir daí, e o vale de Achor por uma porta de esperança; e ela responderá lá como nos dias de sua juventude, e como no dia em que ela saiu da terra do Egito.
And I will giue her her vineyardes from thence, and the valley of Achor for the doore of hope, and shee shall sing there as in the daies of her youth, and as in the daies when shee came vp out of the land of Egypt.
16 Será nesse dia”, diz Yahweh, “que você me chamará de 'meu marido', e não mais me chamar de “meu mestre”.
And at that day, sayeth the Lord, thou shalt call me Ishi, and shalt call me no more Baali.
17 Pois eu tirarei da boca dela os nomes dos Baals, e eles não serão mais mencionados pelo nome.
For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall be no more remembred by their names.
18 Nesse dia farei um pacto para eles com os animais do campo, e com os pássaros do céu, e com as coisas rastejantes do chão. Vou quebrar o arco, a espada e a batalha para fora da terra, e os fará deitar em segurança.
And in that day wil I make a couenant for them, with the wilde beasts, and with the foules of the heauen, and with that that creepeth vpon the earth: and I will breake the bowe, and the sworde and the battell out of the earth, and will make them to sleepe safely.
19 Eu te desposarei para sempre comigo. Sim, eu vos desposarei comigo em retidão, em justiça, em bondade amorosa, e em compaixão.
And I wil marry thee vnto me for euer: yea, I will marry thee vnto me in righteousnes, and in iudgement, and in mercy and in compassion.
20 Eu até desposarei vocês comigo em fidelidade; e você deve conhecer Yahweh.
I will euen marry thee vnto me in faithfulnes, and thou shalt knowe the Lord.
21 Acontecerá naquele dia, que eu vou responder”, diz Yahweh. “Eu responderei aos céus, e eles responderão à terra;
And in that day I wil heare, saith the Lord, I will euen heare the heauens, and they shall heare the earth,
22 e a terra responderá ao grão, e ao novo vinho, e ao óleo; e eles responderão a Jezreel.
And the earth shall heare the corne, and the wine, and the oyle, and they shall heare Izreel.
23 Eu a semearei para mim na terra; e eu terei piedade dela que não obteve misericórdia; e direi àqueles que não eram meu povo: “Vocês são meu povo”. e dirão: 'Você é meu Deus'”!
And I will sowe her vnto me in the earth, and I will haue mercie vpon her, that was not pitied, and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people. And they shall say, Thou art my God.
