Apocalipse 2
1 “Escreve ao anjo da igreja de Éfeso: “Isto diz aquele que tem as sete estrelas em sua [mão] direita, que anda no meio dos sete castiçais de ouro:
‘To the angel of the church in Ephesus write These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, and walks among the seven golden lamps:
2 “Eu conheço as tuas obras, e teu trabalho, e a tua paciência, e que tu não podes tolerar os maus; e provaste aos que se dizem ser apóstolos e não são; e reconheceste [que eles eram] mentirosos;
I know your life, your toil and endurance, and I know that you cannot tolerate evildoers. I know, too, how you tested those who declare that they are apostles, though they are not, and how you proved them false.
3 E suportaste [sofrimentos], e tens paciência; e trabalhaste pelo meu nome, e não te cansaste.
You possess endurance, and have borne much for my name, and have never grown weary.
4 Mas eu tenho contra ti, que deixaste o teu primeiro amor.
But this I have against you – You have abandoned your first love.
5 Então lembra-te de onde tu caíste, e arrepende-te, e faze as primeiras obras; senão eu virei a ti, e tirarei teu castiçal de seu lugar, se tu não te arrependeres.
Therefore remember from what you have fallen, and repent, and live the life that you lived before; or else, I will come and remove your Lamp from its place, unless you repent.
6 Mas isto tu tens: que odeias as obras dos nicolaítas, as quais eu também odeio.
But this is in your favour – You hate the life lived by the Nikolaitans, and I also hate it.
7 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas: Ao que vencer, eu lhe darei de comer da árvore da vida, que está no meio do paraíso de Deus.
Anyone with ears should hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To him who conquers – to him I will give the right to eat the fruit of the Tree of life, which stands in the Paradise of God.
8 “E escreve ao anjo da igreja dos de Esmirna: “Isto diz o o primeiro e o último, que foi morto, e vive:
‘To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died, but is restored to life:
9 “Eu conheço tuas obras, e aflição, e pobreza (mas tu és rico) e a blasfêmia dos que dizem serem judeus, e não são, mas [na verdade] são sinagoga de Satanás.
I know your persecution and your poverty – yet you are rich! I know, too, the slander that comes from those who declare that they are God’s people, though they are not, but are a congregation of Satan.
10 Nada temas das coisas que virás a sofrer; eis que o diabo está para lançar [alguns] de vós em prisão, para que sejais tentados; e vós tereis aflição de dez dias. Sê fiel até a morte, e eu te darei a coroa da vida.
Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tempted, and may undergo persecution for ten days. Be faithful even to death, and I will give you the Crown of life.
11 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas: o que vencer, não sofrerá o dano da segunda morte.
Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Those who conquer will suffer no hurt from the Second Death.
12 “E escreve ao anjo da igreja que está em Pérgamo: Isto diz aquele que tem a espada aguda de dois fios:
‘To the angel of the church in Pergamus write: These are the words of him who holds the sharp two-edged sword:
13 Eu conheço tuas obras, e onde habitas, [que é] onde [está] o trono de Satanás; e tu reténs meu nome, e não negaste minha fé, [até] mesmo nos dias em que Antipas, que [era] minha fiel testemunha, o qual foi morto entre vós, onde Satanás habita.
I know where you live, where the throne of Satan stands. And yet you hold to my name, and you did not disown my faith even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death among you where Satan dwells.
14 Mas eu tenho [algumas] poucas coisas contra ti: que tu tens lá aos que retêm a doutrina de Balaão, o qual ensinava a Balaque a colocarmeios de tropeço diante dos filhos de Israel, para que comessem dos sacrifícios aos ídolos, e cometessem pecados sexuais.
Yet I have a few things against you – You have among you those who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put temptations in the way of the Israelites, so that they should eat idol-offerings and commit licentious acts.
15 Assim, também tu tens alguns que guardam, de igual maneira, a doutrina dos nicolaítas.
Again you have among you those who hold in the same way to the teaching of the Nikolaitans.
16 Arrepende-te; senão, em breve virei a ti, e batalharei contra eles com a espada de minha boca.
Therefore repent, or else, I will come quickly and contend with such people with words that will cut like a sword.
17 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas: Ao que vencer, eu lhe darei de comer do maná escondido, e lhe darei uma pedrinha branca, e na pedrinha um novo nome escrito, o qual ninguém conhece, a não ser aquele que [o] recebe.
Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To those who conquer – to them I will give a share of the mystic manna, and I will give them a white stone; and on the stone will be inscribed a new name, which no one knows except the person who receives it.
18 “E escreve ao anjo da igreja que [está] em Tiatira: “Isto diz o Filho de Deus, que tem seus olhos como chama de fogo, e seus pés semelhantes a um valioso metal reluzente:
‘To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like flaming fire, and whose feet are like brass:
19 “Eu conheço tuas obras, e amor, e serviço, e fé, e tua paciência, e tuas obras, e [que] as últimas são mais que as primeiras.
I know your life, your love, faith, service, and endurance; and I know that your life of late has been better than it was at first.
20 Mas eu tenho contra ti que tu deixas a mulher Jezabel, que se diz profetiza, ensinar e enganar meus servos, para que façam pecados sexuais, e comam dos sacrifícios aos ídolos.
Yet I have this against you – You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who declares that she is a prophet, and misleads my servants by her teaching, until they commit licentious acts and eat idol-offerings.
21 E eu dei a ela tempo para que se arrependesse de seu pecado sexual; mas ela não se arrependeu.
I gave her time to repent, but she is determined not to turn from her licentiousness.
22 Eis que eu a lanço a [uma] cama, e aos que cometem adultério com ela, em grande aflição, se não se arrependerem de suas obras.
Therefore I am laying her on a bed of sickness, and bringing great suffering on those who are unfaithful with her, unless they repent and turn from a life like hers.
23 E ao filhos deles eu os matarei de morte; e todas as igrejas saberão que eu sou aquele que investigo os rins e os corações; e a cada um de vós eu darei segundo vossas obras.
I will also put her children to death; and all the churches will learn that I am he who looks into people’s hearts and souls; and I will give to each one of you what their life deserves.
24 Mas eu digo a vós, e aos outros que estão em Tiatira, a todos quantos não tem esta dourina, e não conheceram as profundezas de Satanás (como dizem); eu não porei outra carga sobre vós;
But I say to the rest of you at Thyatira – all who do not accept such teaching, whose who did not learn the secrets of Satan, as people call them – I am not laying on you any further burden;
25 Mas o que vós tendes, retende até que eu venha.
only hold fast to what you have received, until I come.
26 E ao que vencer, e guardar minhas obras até o fim, eu lhe darei autoridade sobre as nações;
To those who conquer and are careful to live my life to the end – to them I will give authority over the nations,
27 E as dominará com vara de ferro; como vasos de oleiro serão quebradas em pedaços; assim como eu também recebi do meu Pai;
and they will rule them with an iron rod, as when earthen vessels are broken in pieces (as I myself have received from my Father)
28 E eu lhe darei a estrela da manhã.
and I will give them the morning star.
29 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas.
Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
