Salmos 99

1 O SENHOR reina, tremam as nações; [ele é] o que se senta [entre] os querubins, mova-se a terra.

The Lord reigneth, let the people tremble: he sitteth betweene the Cherubims, let the earth be moued.

2 O SENHOR é grande em Sião; ele é mais elevado que todos os povos.

The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high aboue all the people.

3 Louvem o teu grande e temível nome, [porque] ele é santo;

They shall prayse thy great and fearefull Name (for it is holy)

4 Assim como também a fortaleza do Rei, que ama o juízo; tu firmaste as coisas corretas; tu fizeste juízo e justiça em Jacó.

And the Kings power, that loueth iudgement: for thou hast prepared equitie: thou hast executed iudgement and iustice in Iaakob.

5 Exaltai ao SENHOR nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos perante o suporte dos seus pés, [porque] ele é santo.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his footestoole: for he is holy.

6 Moisés e Arão estavam entre seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que chamavam o seu nome; eles clamavam ao SENHOR, e ele os respondia.

Moses and Aaron were among his Priests, and Samuel among such as call vpon his Name: these called vpon the Lord, and he heard them.

7 Na coluna da nuvem ele lhes falava; eles guardavam seus testemunhos e os estatutos que ele tinha lhes dado.

Hee spake vnto them in the cloudie pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the Lawe that he gaue them.

8 Ó SENHOR nosso Deus, tu os respondia; tu lhes foste Deus perdoador, ainda que vingasse as coisas que eles praticavam.

Thou heardest them, O Lord our God: thou wast a fauourable God vnto them, though thou didst take vengeance for their inuentions.

9 Exaltai ao SENHOR nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos perante seu santo monte; pois santo é o SENHOR nosso Deus.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his holy Mountaine: for the Lord our God is holy.
