Salmos 30

1 Salmo e canção de Davi para a dedicação da casa: Eu te exaltarei, SENHOR, porque tu me levantaste, e fizeste com que meus inimigos não se alegrassem por causa de mim.

For the end, a Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will exalt you, O Lord; for you have lifted me up, and not caused mine enemies to rejoice over me.

2 SENHOR, meu Deus; eu clamei a ti, e tu me curaste.

O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you did heal me.

3 SENHOR, tu levantaste minha alma do Xeol; preservaste-me a vida, para que eu não descesse à sepultura. (Sheol h7585)

O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Hades, you have delivered me from [among] them that go down to the pit. (Sheol h7585)

4 Cantai ao SENHOR, vós [que sois] santos dele, [e] celebrai a memória de sua santidade.

Sing to the Lord, you his saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.

5 Porque sua ira [dura por] um momento; mas seu favor [dura por toda a] vida; o choro fica pela noite, mas a alegria [vem] pela manhã.

For anger is in his wrath, but life in his favor: weeping shall wait for the evening, but joy shall be in the morning.

6 Eu disse em minha boa situação: Nunca serei abalado.

And I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.

7 SENHOR, pelo teu favor, tu firmaste minha montanha; [mas quando] tu encobriste o teu rosto, fiquei perturbado.

O Lord, in your good pleasure you did add strength to my beauty: but you did turn away your face, and I was troubled.

8 A ti, DEUS, eu clamei; e supliquei ao SENHOR,

To you, O Lord, will I cry; and to my God will I make supplication.

9 [Dizendo]: Que proveito [há] em meu sangue, [ou] em minha descida a cova? Por acaso o pó da terra te louvará, ou anunciará tua fidelidade?

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to destruction? Shall the dust give praise to you? or shall it declare your truth?

10 Ouve [-me], SENHOR, e tem piedade de mim; sê tu, SENHOR, o meu ajudador.

The Lord heard, and had compassion upon me; the Lord is become my helper.

11 Tu tornaste meu pranto em dança; tu desamarraste o meu saco [de lamentação], e me envolveste de alegria.

You have turned my mourning into joy for me: you have tore off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 Por isso a [minha] glória cantará para ti, e não se calará; SENHOR, Deus meu, para sempre eu te louvarei.

that my glory may sing praise to you, and I may not be pierced [with sorrow]. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you for ever.
