Lucas 5
1 E aconteceu que as multidões o comprimiam para ouvir a palavra de Deus, quando ele estava junto ao lago de Genesaré.
Then it came to passe, as the people preassed vpon him to heare the word of God, that he stoode by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 Então ele viu dois barcos que estavam próximos [da margem] do lago, e os pescadores haviam descido deles, e estavam lavando as redes.
And sawe two shippes stand by the lakes side, but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nettes.
3 Ele entrou num daqueles barcos, que era o de Simão, e lhe pediu que o afastasse um pouco da terra. Depois se sentou, e do barco ensinou às multidões.
And he entred into one of the ships, which was Simons, and required him that he would thrust off a litle from the land: and he sate downe, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Quando acabou de falar, disse a Simão: Vai à água profunda, e lançai as vossas redes para pescar.
Now when he had left speaking, he sayd vnto Simon, Lanch out into the deepe, and let downe your nettes to make a draught.
5 Simão respondeu: Mestre, trabalhamos toda a noite, mas nada pegamos; mas pela tua palavra lançarei as redes.
Then Simon answered, and sayd vnto him, Master, we haue trauailed sore all night, and haue taken nothing: neuerthelesse at thy worde I will let downe the net.
6 Eles fizeram assim, e recolheram grande quantidade de peixes, e suas redes estavam se rompendo.
And when they had so done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, so that their net brake.
7 Então acenaram aos companheiros que estavam no outro barco, para que viessem os ajudar. Vieram, e encheram ambos os barcos, de tal maneira que quase afundavam.
And they beckened to their parteners, which were in the other ship, that they shoulde come and helpe them, who came then, and filled both the ships, that they did sinke.
8 Quando Simão Pedro viu[isso], prostrou-se aos pés de Jesus, dizendo: Afasta-te de mim, Senhor, porque sou um homem pecador.
Now when Simon Peter saw it, he fel down at Iesus knees, saying, Lord, go from me: for I am a sinfull man.
9 Pois ele estava cheio de espanto, como todos os que estavam com ele, por causa da coleta de peixes que haviam feito.
For he was vtterly astonied, and all that were with him, for the draught of fishes which they tooke.
10 E semelhantemente, também, Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, que eram colegas de Simão. E Jesus disse a Simão: Não temas, de agora em diante pescarás gente.
And so was also Iames and Iohn the sonnes of Zebedeus, which were companions with Simon. Then Iesus sayde vnto Simon, Feare not: from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 Eles levaram os barcos para a terra, deixaram tudo, e o seguiram.
And when they had brought the ships to land, they forsooke all, and followed him.
12 E aconteceu que, quando ele estava numa daquelas cidades, eis que um homem cheio de lepra viu Jesus; então prostrou-se sobre o rosto, e lhe rogou, dizendo: Senhor, se quiseres, podes me tornar limpo.
Nowe it came to passe, as he was in a certaine citie, beholde, there was a man full of leprosie, and when he sawe Iesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.
13 Ele estendeu a mão, e o tocou, dizendo: Quero; sê limpo. E logo a lepra desapareceu dele.
So he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will, be thou cleane. And immediately the leprosie departed from him.
14 E mandou-lhe que não o dissesse a ninguém: Mas vai, mostra-te ao sacerdote, e oferece por tua purificação, como Moisés mandou, para lhes dar testemunho.
And he commanded him that hee should tell it no man: but Go, sayth he, and shew thy selfe to the Priest, and offer for thy clensing, as Moses hath commanded, for a witnes vnto them.
15 Porém a sua fama se espalhava ainda mais; e ajuntavam-se muitas multidões para o ouvir, e para serem curadas de suas enfermidades.
But so much more went there a fame abroad of him, and great multitudes came together to heare, and to be healed of him of their infirmities.
16 Porém ele se retirava para os desertos, e [ali] orava.
But he kept himselfe apart in the wildernes, and prayed.
17 E aconteceu num daqueles dias que estava ensinando, e estavam [ali] sentados fariseus e instrutores da lei, que tinham vindo de todas as aldeias da Galileia, da Judeia, e de Jerusalém; e o poder do Senhor estava com ele para curar
And it came to passe, on a certaine day, as he was teaching, that the Pharises and doctours of the Law sate by, which were come out of euery towne of Galile, and Iudea, and Hierusalem, and the power of the Lord was in him to heale them.
18 E eis que uns homens traziam numa cama um homem que estava paralítico; e procuravam levá-lo para dentro, a fim de o porem diante dele.
Then beholde, men brought a man lying in a bed, which was taken with a palsie, and they sought meanes to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 Como não acharam por onde pudessem levá-lo para dentro, por causa da multidão, subiram ao telhado, e pelas telhas o baixaram com o leito para o meio [do povo], diante de Jesus.
And when they could not finde by what way they might bring him in, because of the preasse, they went vp on the house, and let him downe through the tyling, bed and all, in the middes before Iesus.
20 Ele viu a fé deles, e disse: Homem, teus pecados são perdoados.
And when he sawe their faith, he sayd vnto him, Man, thy sinnes are forgiuen thee.
21 E os escribas e os fariseus começaram a questionar, dizendo: Quem é este que fala blasfêmias? Quem pode perdoar pecados, senão só Deus?
Then the Scribes and the Pharises began to reason, saying, Who is this that speaketh blasphemies? who can forgiue sinnes, but God onely?
22 Porém Jesus, conhecendo os seus pensamentos, respondeu-lhes: O que pensais em vossos corações?
But when Iesus perceiued their reasoning, he answered, and sayd vnto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 O que é mais fácil? Dizer: Teus pecados são perdoados? Ou dizer: Levanta-te, e anda?
Whether is easier to say, Thy sinnes are forgiuen thee, or to say, Rise and walke?
24 Para que saibais que o Filho do homem tem poder sobre a terra para perdoar pecados, (disse ao paralítico: ) Eu te digo, levanta-te, toma o teu leito, e vai para a tua casa.
But that ye may know that that Sonne of man hath authoritie to forgiue sinnes in earth, (he sayd vnto the sicke of the palsie) I say to thee, Arise: take vp thy bed, and goe to thine house.
25 E ele levantou-se imediatamente diante deles, tomou o [leito] em que estava deitado, e foi para a sua casa, glorificando a Deus.
And immediatly he rose vp before them, and tooke vp his bed whereon he lay, and departed to his owne house, praysing God.
26 E todos ficaram admirados, e glorificaram a Deus; e ficaram cheios de temor, dizendo: Hoje vimos maravilhas!
And they were all amased, and praysed God, and were filled with feare, saying, Doutlesse we haue seene strange things to day.
27 Depois destas coisas, ele saiu; e viu um publicano, chamado Levi, sentado na coletoria de tributos, e disse-lhe: Segue-me.
And after that, he went foorth and sawe a Publicane named Leui, sitting at the receite of custome, and sayd vnto him, Follow me.
28 Ele deixou tudo, levantou-se, e o seguiu.
And he left all, rose vp, and folowed him.
29 E Levi lhe fez um grande banquete em sua casa; e havia [ali] uma grande multidão de publicanos e de outros que estavam sentados com eles [à mesa].
Then Leui made him a great feast in his owne house, where there was a great company of Publicanes, and of other that sate at table with them.
30 E seus fariseus e escribas murmuravam contra os seus discípulos, dizendo: Por que comeis e bebeis com publicanos e pecadores?
But they that were Scribes and Pharises among them, murmured against his disciples, saying, Why eate ye and drinke ye with Publicanes and sinners?
31 Jesus lhes respondeu: Os que estão sãos não precisam de médico, mas sim os que estão doentes.
Then Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, They that are whole, neede not the Physician, but they that are sicke.
32 Eu não vim para chamar os justos, mas sim, os pecadores, ao arrependimento.
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
33 Então eles lhe disseram: Os discípulos de João jejuam muitas vezes, e fazem orações, como também os dos fariseus, mas os teus comem e bebem.
Then they said vnto him, Why do the disciples of Iohn fast often, and pray, and the disciples of the Pharises also, but thine eate and drinke?
34 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Podeis vós fazer jejuar os convidados do casamento, enquanto o noivo está com eles?
And he said vnto them, Can ye make the children of the wedding chamber to fast, as long as the bridegrome is with them?
35 Porém virão dias em que o esposo lhes será tirado; então naqueles dias jejuarão.
But the dayes will come, euen when the bridegrome shalbe taken away from them: then shall they fast in those dayes.
36 E dizia-lhes também uma parábola: Ninguém tira remendo de pano novo para pô-lo em roupa velha; de outra maneira, romperá o novo, e o remendo do novo não será adequado ao velho.
Againe he spake also vnto them a parable, No man putteth a piece of a newe garment into an olde vesture: for then the newe renteth it, and the piece taken out of the newe, agreeth not with the olde.
37 E ninguém põe vinho novo em odres velhos; de outra maneira, o vinho novo romperá os odres, e se derramará, e os odres são destruídos.
Also no man powreth newe wine into olde vessels: for then ye new wine wil breake the vessels, and it will runne out, and the vessels will perish:
38 Mas o vinho novo deve ser posto em odres novos.
But newe wine must be powred into newe vessels: so both are preserued.
39 E ninguém que beber do velho quer o novo; porque diz: O velho é melhor.
Also no man that drinketh olde wine, straightway desireth newe: for he sayth, The olde is more profitable.
