Isaías 15
1 Revelação sobre Moabe: Certamente em uma noite é destruída Ar-Moabe; [e] é devastada; certamente em uma noite é destruída Quir-Moabe, [e] é devastada.
The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.
2 [Os moradores] sobem ao templo, e a Dibom, aos lugares altos, para chorar; Moabe grita de lamento por Nebo e por Medeba; em todas as suas cabeças há calva, e toda barba está raspada.
He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.
3 Eles se vestem de sacos em suas ruas; em seus terraços, e em suas praças todos andam gritando de lamento, e descem chorando.
In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.
4 Tanto Hesbom como Eleale vão gritando, até Jaaz se ouve sua voz; por causa disso os soldados armados de Moabe gritam, a alma de cada um está abalada dentro de si.
And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.
5 Meu coração dá gritos por Moabe, seus fugitivos [foram] até Zoar [e] Eglate-Selisia; pois sobem com choro pela subida de Luíte, pois no caminho de Horonaim levantam um grito de desespero.
Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
6 Pois as águas de Ninrim se acabaram; pois a grama se secou, as plantas pereceram, e não há mais vegetal verde.
For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.
7 Por isso levarão os bens que acumularam e seus pertences ao ribeiro dos salgueiros.
Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.
8 Porque o pranto rodeia aos limites de Moabe; até Eglaim chega seu grito de lamento, e até Beer-Elim sua lamentação.
For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,
9 Pois as águas de Dimom estão cheias de sangue, porém porei em Dimom ainda outros mais: um leão aos que escaparem de Moabe, e aos sobreviventes da terra.
Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
