Ezequiel 8

1 E sucedeu no sexto ano, no sexto [mês], aos cinco do mês, estando eu sentado em minha casa, e os anciãos de Judá estavam sentados diante de mim, que ali a mão do Senhor DEUS caiu sobre mim.

And it was doon in the sixte yeer, in the sixte monethe, in the fyuethe dai of the monethe, Y sat in myn hous, and the elde men of Juda saten bifore me; and the hond of the Lord God felle there on me.

2 E olhei, e eis uma semelhança, com aparência de fogo; desde a aparência de sua cintura para baixo, era fogo; e desde sua cintura para cima, com a aparência de um resplendor, como a cor de âmbar.

And Y siy, and lo! a licnesse as the biholdyng of fier; fro the biholding of hise leendis and bynethe was fier, and fro hise leendis and aboue was as the biholdyng of schynyng, as the siyt of electre.

3 E estendeu a forma de uma mão, e tomou-me pelos cabelos de minha cabeça; e o espírito me levantou entre a terra e o céu, e me trouxe a Jerusalém em visões de Deus, até a entrada da porta de dentro que está voltada ao norte, onde estava o lugar da imagem do ciúme, que provoca ciúme.

And the licnesse of an hond was sent out, and took me bi the heer of myn heed; and the spirit reiside me bitwixe heuene and erthe, and brouyte me in to Jerusalem, in the siyt of God, bisidis the ynnere dore that bihelde to the north, where the idol of enuye was set, to stire indignacioun.

4 E eis que a a glória do Deus de Israel estava ali, conforme a visão que eu tinha visto no vale.

And lo! the glorie of God of Israel was there, bi siyt which Y siy in the feeld.

5 E disse-me: Filho do homem, levanta agora teus olhos para o norte. E levantei meus olhos para o norte, e eis que a imagem do ciúme estava ao lado norte, junto à porta do altar, na entrada.

And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, reise thin iyen to the weie of the north; and Y reiside myn iyen to the weie of the north, and lo! fro the north of the yate of the auter the idol of enuye was in that entryng.

6 Então me disse: Filho do homem, vês tu o que eles estão fazendo? As grandes abominações que a casa de Israel faz aqui, para me afastar de meu santuário? Porém ainda voltarás a ver abominações maiores.

And he seide to me, Sone of man, gessist thou whether thou seest what thing these men doon, the grete abhomynaciouns whiche the hous of Israel doith here, that Y go fer awei fro my seyntuarie? and yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se grettere abhomynaciouns.

7 E levou-me à porta do pátio; então olhei, e eis que havia um buraco na parede.

And he ledde me with ynne to the dore of the halle; and Y siy, and lo! oon hoole in the wal.

8 E disse-me: Filho do homem, cava agora naquela parede. E cavei na parede, e eis que havia uma porta.

And he seide to me, Sone of man, digge thou the wal; and whanne Y hadde diggid the wal, o dore apperide.

9 Então me disse: Entra, e vê as malignas abominações que eles fazem aqui.

And he seide to me, Entre thou, and se the worste abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon here.

10 E entrei, e olhei, e eis toda figura de répteis, e animais abomináveis, e todos os ídolos da casa de Israel, que estavam pintados na parede ao redor.

And Y entride, and siy; and lo! ech licnesse of `crepynge beestis, and abhomynacioun of beestis, and alle idols of the hous of Israel, weren peyntid in the wal al aboute in cumpas.

11 E diante deles estavam setenta homens dos anciãos da casa de Israel, com Jazanias filho de Safã, que estava no meio deles, cada um com seu incensário em sua mão; e uma espessa nuvem de perfume subia.

And seuenti men of the eldere of the hous of Israel stoden; and Jeconye, the sone of Saphan, stood in the myddis of hem, stondynge bifore the peyntyngis; and ech man hadde a censere in his hond, and the smoke of a cloude of encense stiede.

12 Então me disse: Filho do homem, viste as coisas que os anciãos da casa de Israel fazem nas trevas, cada um em suas câmaras pintadas? Pois eles dizem: O SENHOR não nos vê; o SENHOR abandonou a terra.

And he seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou seest what thingis the eldere men of the hous of Israel doen in derknessis, ech man in the hid place of his bed; for thei seiyn, The Lord seeth not vs, the Lord hath forsake the lond.

13 E disse-me: Ainda voltarás a ver abominações maiores que estes fazem.

And the Lord seide to me, Yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretter abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon.

14 E me levou à entrada da porta da casa do SENHOR, que está ao lado norte; e eis ali mulheres que estavam sentadas, chorando a Tamuz.

And he ledde me with ynne, bi the dore of the yate of the hous of the Lord, which dore bihelde to the north; and lo! wymmen saten there, biweilynge Adonydes.

15 Então me disse: Viste [isto], filho do homem? Ainda voltarás a ver abominações maiores que estas.

And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretere abhomynaciouns than these.

16 E ele me levou ao pátio de dentro da casa do SENHOR; e eis que estavam à entrada do templo do SENHOR, entre o pórtico e o altar, cerca de vinte e cinco homens, com suas costas voltadas ao templo do SENHOR e seus rostos ao oriente, e eles se prostravam ao oriente, para o sol.

And he ledde me with ynne, in to the ynnere halle of the hous of the Lord; and lo! in the dore of the temple of the Lord, bitwixe the porche and the auter, weren as fyue and twenti men hauynge the backis ayens the temple of the Lord, and her faces to the eest; and thei worschipiden at the risyng of the sunne.

17 Então me disse: Viste [isto], filho do homem? Por acaso é pouco para a casa de Judá fazer as abominações que fazem aqui? Pois eles têm enchido a terra de violência, e voltam a irritar-me, porque eis que põem o ramo em suas narinas.

And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; whether this is a liyt thing to the hous of Juda, that thei schulden do these abhomynaciouns, whiche thei diden here? For thei filliden the lond with wickidnesse, and turneden to terre me to wraththe; and lo! thei applien a braunche to her nose thirlis.

18 Por isso eu também os tratarei com furor; meu olho não poupará, nem terei compaixão; e ainda que gritem em meus ouvidos com alta voz, mesmo assim não os ouvirei.

Therfor and Y schal do in strong veniaunce; myn iye schal not spare, nether Y schal do merci; and whanne thei schulen crie to myn eris with greet vois, Y schal not here hem.
