Deuteronômio 10
1 Naquele tempo o SENHOR me disse: Lavra para ti duas tábuas de pedra como as primeiras, e sobe a mim ao monte, e faze para ti uma arca de madeira:
In that tyme the Lord seide to me, Hewe thou twei tablis of stoon to thee, as the formere weren; and stie thou to me `in to the hil. And thou schalt make an arke,
2 E escreverei naquelas tábuas palavras que estavam nas tábuas primeiras que quebraste; e as porás na arca.
`ether a cofere, of tree, and Y schal write in the tablis, the wordis that weren in these tablis whiche thou brakist bifore; and thou schalt putte tho tablis in to the arke.
3 E fiz uma arca de madeira de acácia, e lavrei duas tábuas de pedra como as primeiras, e subi ao monte com as duas tábuas em minha mão.
Therfor Y made an ark of the trees of Sechim, and whanne Y hadde hewe twei tablis of stoon, at the licnesse of the formere tablis, Y stiede in to the hil, and hadde the tablis in the hondis.
4 E escreveu nas tábuas conforme a primeira escritura, os dez mandamentos que o SENHOR vos havia falado no monte do meio do fogo, no dia da assembleia; e as deu a mim o SENHOR.
And he wroot in the tablis, bi that that he `hadde writun bifore, ten wordis, whiche the Lord spak to you in the hil, fro the myddis of the fyer, whanne the puple was gaderid, and he yaf the tablis to me.
5 E voltei e desci do monte, e pus as tábuas na arca que havia feito; e ali estão, como o SENHOR me mandou.
And Y turnide ayen fro the hil, and cam doun, and puttide the tablis in to the arke which Y hadde maad, `whiche tablis ben there hidur to, as the Lord comaundide to me.
6 (Depois partiram os filhos de Israel de Beerote-Bene-Jacacã a Moserá: ali morreu Arão, e ali foi sepultado; e em lugar seu teve o sacerdócio seu filho Eleazar.
Forsothe the sones of Israel moueden tentis fro Beroth of the sones of Jachan in to Mosera, where Aaron was deed, and biried, for whom his sone Eleazar was set in preesthod.
7 De ali partiram a Gudgodá, e de Gudgodá a Jotbatá, terra de ribeiros de águas.
Fro thennus thei camen in to Galgad; fro which place thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Jehabatha, in the lond of watris and of strondis.
8 Naquele tempo separou o SENHOR a tribo de Levi, para que levasse a arca do pacto do SENHOR, para que estivesse diante do SENHOR para servir-lhe, e para abençoar em seu nome, até hoje.
In that tyme Y departide the lynage of Leuy, that it schulde bere the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and schulde stonde bifor hym in seruyce, and schulde blesse in his name til in to present dai.
9 Pelo qual Levi não teve parte nem herança com seus irmãos: o SENHOR é sua herança, como o SENHOR teu Deus lhe disse.)
For which thing Leuy hadde not part, nether possession with hise brithren, for the Lord hym silf is his possessioun, as thi Lord God bihiyte to hym.
10 E eu estive no monte como os primeiros dias, quarenta dias e quarenta noites; e o SENHOR me ouviu também esta vez, e não quis o SENHOR destruir-te.
Forsothe Y stood in the hil as bifore, fourti daies and fourti niytis, and the Lord herde me also in this tyme, and nolde leese thee.
11 E disse-me o SENHOR: Levanta-te, anda, para que partas diante do povo, para que entrem e possuam a terra que jurei a seus pais lhes havia de dar.
And he seide to me, Go thou, and go bifor this puple, that it entre, and welde the lond which Y swoor to her fadris, that Y schulde yeue to hem.
12 Agora, pois, Israel, que pede o SENHOR teu Deus de ti, a não ser que temas ao SENHOR teu Deus, que andes em todos os seus caminhos, e que o ames, e sirvas ao SENHOR teu Deus contudo teu coração, e com toda tua alma;
And now, Israel, what axith thi Lord God of thee, no but that thou drede thi Lord, and go in hise weies, and that thou loue hym, and serue thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule;
13 Que guardes os mandamentos do SENHOR e seus estatutos, que eu te prescrevo hoje, para que tenhas bem?
and that thou kepe the comaundementis of thi Lord God, and the cerymonyes of hym, whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai, that it be wel to thee.
14 Eis que, do SENHOR teu Deus são os céus, e os céus dos céus: a terra, e todas as coisas que há nela.
Lo! heuene is of thi Lord God, and heuene of heuene; the erthe and alle thingis that ben ther ynne ben hise;
15 Somente de teus pais se agradou o SENHOR para amá-los, e escolheu sua descendência depois deles, a vós, dentre todos os povos, como neste dia.
and netheles the Lord was glued to thi fadris, and louede hem, and he chees her seed after hem, and you of alle folkis, as it is preued to dai.
16 Circuncidai pois o prepúcio de vosso coração, e não endureçais mais vossa cerviz.
Therfor circumcide ye the prepucie, `ethir vnclennesse, of youre herte, and no more make ye harde youre nol.
17 Porque o SENHOR vosso Deus é Deus de deuses, e Senhor de senhores, Deus grande, poderoso, e terrível, que não faz acepção de pessoas, nem toma suborno;
For youre Lord God hym silf is God of goddis, and Lord of lordis, `God greet, and miyti, and feerdful, which takith not persoone, nether yiftis.
18 Que faz justiça ao órfão e à viúva; que ama também ao estrangeiro dando-lhe pão e roupa.
He makith doom to the fadirles, and modirles, and to the widewe; he loueth a pilgrym, and yyueth to hym lyiflode and clothing.
19 Amareis pois ao estrangeiro: porque estrangeiros fostes vós em terra do Egito.
And therfor `loue ye pilgryms, for also ye weren comelyngis in the lond of Egipt.
20 Ao SENHOR teu Deus temerás, a ele servirás, a ele te achegarás, e por seu nome jurarás.
Thou schalt drede thi Lord God, and thou schalt serue hym aloone, and thou schalt cleue to hym, and thou schalt swere in his name.
21 Ele é teu louvor, e ele é teu Deus, que fez contigo estas grandes e terríveis coisas que teus olhos viram.
He is thi preisyng, and thi God, that made to thee these grete dedis, and ferdful, whiche thin iyen siyen.
22 Com setenta almas desceram teus pais ao Egito; e agora o SENHOR te fez como as estrelas do céu em multidão.
In seuenti men thi fadris yeden doun in to Egipt, and lo! now thi Lord God hath multiplied thee as the sterris of heuene.
