2 Reis 13

1 No ano vinte e três de Joás filho de Acazias, rei de Judá, começou a reinar Jeoacaz filho de Jeú sobre Israel em Samaria; e reinou dezessete anos.

In the thre and twentithe yeer of Joas, sone of Ocozie, kyng of Juda, Joachaz, sone of Hieu, regnede on Israel, in Samarie seuentene yeer.

2 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR, e seguiu os pecados de Jeroboão filho de Nebate, o que fez pecar a Israel; e não se separou deles.

And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, and he suede the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne; and he bowide not awei fro tho.

3 E acendeu-se o furor do SENHOR contra Israel, e entregou-os em mão de Hazael rei da Síria, e em mão de Ben-Hadade filho de Hazael, por longo tempo.

And the strong veniaunce of the Lord was wrooth ayens Israel, and he bitook hem in to the hondis of Azael, kyng of Sirie, and in the hond of Benadab, sone of Asael, in alle daies.

4 Mas Jeoacaz orou à face do SENHOR, e o SENHOR o ouviu: porque olhou a aflição de Israel, pois o rei da Síria os afligia.

Forsothe Joachaz bisouyte the face of the Lord, and the Lord herde hym; for he siy the anguysch of Israel, for the kyng of Sirie hadde al to brokun hem.

5 (E deu o SENHOR salvador a Israel, e saíram de sob a mão dos sírios; e habitaram os filhos de Israel em suas moradas, como antes.

And the Lord yaf a sauyour to Israel, and he was delyuered fro the hond of the kyng of Sirie; and the sones of Israel dwelliden in her tabernaclis, as yistirdai and the thridde dai ago.

6 Contudo isso não se apartaram dos pecados da casa de Jeroboão, o que fez pecar a Israel: neles andaram; e também o bosque permaneceu em Samaria.)

7 Porque não lhe havia restado gente a Jeoacaz, a não ser cinquenta cavaleiros, e dez carros, e dez mil homens a pé; pois o rei da Síria os havia destruído, e os havia posto como pó para pisar.

And to Joacham weren not left of the puple, no but fyue hundrid kniytis, and ten charis, and ten thousynde of foot men; for the kyng of Sirie hadde slayn hem, and hadde dryue hem as in to poudur in the threischyng of a cornfloor.

8 Os demais dos feitos de Jeoacaz, e tudo o que fez, e suas valentias, não estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?

Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joachaz, and alle thingis whiche he dide, and the strength of hym, whether these ben not wrytun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

9 E descansou Jeoacaz com seus pais, e sepultaram-no em Samaria: e reinou em seu lugar Joás seu filho.

And Joachaz slepte with hise fadris, and thei birieden hym in Samarie; and Joas, his sone, regnyde for hym.

10 O ano trinta e sete de Joás rei de Judá, começou a reinar Joás filho de Jeoacaz sobre Israel em Samaria; e reinou dezesseis anos.

In the seuenthe and threttithe yeer of Joas, king of Juda, Joas, sone of Joachaz, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixtene yeer.

11 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR: não se separou de todos os pecados de Jeroboão filho de Nebate, o que fez pecar a Israel; neles andou.

And he dide that, that is yuel in the siyt of the Lord; for he bowide not awei fro alle the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne; he yede in tho synnes.

12 Os demais dos feitos de Joás, e todas as coisas que fez, e seu esforço com que guerreou contra Amasias rei de Judá, não estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?

Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joas, and alle thingis whiche he dide, but also his strengthe, hou he fauyt ayens Amasie, kyng of Juda, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

13 E dormiu Joás com seus pais, e sentou-se Jeroboão sobre seu trono: e Joás foi sepultado em Samaria com os reis de Israel.

And Joas slepte with hise fadris; forsothe Jeroboam sat on his trone. Sotheli Joas was biried in Samarie with the kyngis of Israel.

14 Estava Eliseu enfermo daquela sua enfermidade de que morreu. E desceu a ele Joás rei de Israel, e chorando diante dele, disse: Meu pai, meu pai, carro de Israel e seus cavaleiros!

Forsothe Elisee was sijk in sikenesse, bi which and he was deed; and Joas, kyng of Israel, yede doun to hym, and wepte bifor hym, and seide, My fadir! my fadir! the chare of Israel, and the charietere therof!

15 E disse-lhe Eliseu: Toma um arco e umas flechas. Tomou ele então um arco e umas flechas.

And Elisee seide to hym, Brynge thou a bouwe and arowis. And whanne he hadde brouyte to Elisee a bouwe and arowis,

16 E disse Eliseu ao rei de Israel: Põe tua mão sobre o arco. E pôs ele sua mão sobre o arco. Então pôs Eliseu suas mãos sobre as mãos do rei,

he seide to the kyng of Israel, Set thin hond on the bouwe. And whanne he hadde set his hond, Elisee settide his hondis on the hondis of the

17 E disse: Abre a janela de até o oriente. E quando ele a abriu disse Eliseu: Atira. E atirando ele, disse Eliseu: Flecha de salvação do SENHOR, e flecha de salvação contra Síria: porque ferirás aos sírios em Afeque, até consumi-los.

18 E voltou-lhe a dizer: Toma as flechas. E logo que o rei de Israel as tomou, disse-lhe: Fere a terra. E ele feriu três vezes, e cessou.

And Elisee seide, Take awei the arowis. And whanne he hadde take awei, Elisee seide eft to him, Smyte thou the erthe with a dart. And whanne he hadde smyte thre tymes,

19 Então o homem de Deus, irou-se com ele, lhe disse: A ferir cinco ou seis vezes, feririas a Síria, até não restar ninguém: porém agora três vezes ferirás a Síria.

and hadde stonde, the man of God was wrooth ayens hym, and seide, If thou haddist smyte fyue sithis, ether sixe sithis, ethir seuen sithis, thou schuldist haue smyte Sirie `til to the endyng; now forsothe thou schalt smyte it thre sithis.

20 E morreu Eliseu, e sepultaram-no. Entrado o ano vieram tropas de moabitas à terra.

Therfor Elisee was deed, and thei birieden hym. And the theuys of Moab camen in to the lond in that yeer.

21 E aconteceu que ao sepultar uns um homem, subitamente viram uma tropa, e lançaram ao homem no sepulcro de Eliseu: e quando o morto chegou a tocar os ossos de Eliseu, reviveu, e levantou-se sobre seus pés.

Forsothe sum men birieden a man, and thei siyen the theues, and thei castiden forth the deed bodi in the sepulcre of Elisee; and whanne it hadde touchid the bonys of Elisee, the man lyuede ayen, and stood on his feet.

22 Hazael, pois, rei da Síria, afligiu a Israel todo o tempo de Jeoacaz.

Therfor Azael, kyng of Sirie, turmentide Israel in alle the daies of Joachaz.

23 Mas o SENHOR teve misericórdia deles, e compadeceu-se deles, e olhou-os, por amor de seu pacto com Abraão, Isaque e Jacó; e não quis destruí-los nem lançá-los de diante de si até agora.

And the Lord hadde merci on hem, and turnede ayen to hem for his couenaunt, which he hadde with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and he nolde distrie hem, nether cast awei outirli, til in to present tyme.

24 E morreu Hazael rei da Síria, e reinou em seu lugar Ben-Hadade seu filho.

Forsothe Azael, kyng of Sirie, diede; and Benadad, his sone, regnede for hym.

25 E voltou Joás filho de Jeoacaz, e tomou da mão de Ben-Hadade filho de Hazael, as cidades que ele havia tomado da mão de Jeoacaz seu pai em guerra. Três vezes o bateu Joás, e restituiu as cidades a Israel.

Forsothe Joas, sone of Joachas, took awei citees fro the hond of Benadad, sone of Asael, which he hadde take bi the riyt of batel fro the hoond of Joachaz, his fadir; Joas smoot hym thre tymes, and he yeldide the citees of Israel.
