1 Então o povo da terra tomou a Jeoacaz filho de Josias, e fizeram-lhe rei em lugar de seu pai em Jerusalém.
Therfor the puple of the lond took Joachaz, the sone of Josie, and ordeynede hym kyng for his fadir in Jerusalem.
2 De vinte e três anos era Jeoacaz quando começou a reinar, e três meses reinou em Jerusalém.
Joachaz was of thre and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis in Jerusalem.
3 E o rei do Egito o tirou de Jerusalém, e condenou a terra em cem talentos de prata e um de ouro.
Sotheli the kyng of Egipt, `whan he hadde come to Jerusalem, remouyde hym, and condempnede the lond in an hundrid talentis of siluer and in a talent of gold.
4 E o rei do Egito constituiu o seu irmão Eliaquim como rei sobre Judá e Jerusalém, e mudou-lhe o nome em Jeoaquim; e Neco tomou o seu irmão Jeoacaz, e o levou ao Egito.
And he ordeynede for hym Eliachim, his brother, kyng on Juda and Jerusalem; and turnede his name Joakym. Sotheli he took thilk Joachaz with hym silf, and brouyte in to Egipt.
5 Quando começou a reinar Jeoaquim era de vinte e cinco anos, e reinou onze anos em Jerusalém: e fez o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR seu Deus.
Joakym was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde eleuene yeer in Jerusalem, and he dide yuel bifor `his Lord God.
6 E subiu contra ele Nabucodonosor rei da Babilônia, e acorrentado com correntes o levou à Babilônia.
Nabugodonosor, kyng of Caldeis, styede ayens this Joakym, and ledde hym boundun with chaynes in to Babiloyne.
7 Também levou Nabucodonosor à Babilônia dos utensílios da casa do SENHOR, e os pôs no seu templo em Babilônia.
To which Babiloyne he translatide also the vessels of the Lord, and settide tho in his temple.
8 Os demais dos feitos de Jeoaquim, e as abominações que fez, e o que nele se achou, eis que estão escritos no livro dos reis de Israel e de Judá: e reinou em seu lugar Joaquim seu filho.
Sotheli the residue of wordis of Joakym, and of hise abhomynaciouns whiche he wrouyte, and that weren foundun in hym, ben conteyned in the book of kyngis of Israel and of Juda. Therfor Joachym, his sone, regnede for hym.
9 De oito anos era Joaquim quando começou a reinar, e reinou três meses e dez dias em Jerusalém: e fez o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR.
Joachym was of eiyte yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis and ten daies in Jerusalem, and he dide yuel in the siyt of the Lord.
10 Na primavera do ano, o rei Nabucodonosor mandou que o trouxessem à Babilônia, juntamente com os utensílos preciosos da casa do SENHOR; e constituiu o seu irmão Zedequias como rei sobre Judá e Jerusalém.
And whanne the cercle of the yeer was turned aboute, Nabugodonosor the kynge sente men, whiche also brouyten hym in to Babiloyne, whanne the moost preciouse vessels of the hows of the Lord weren borun out togidir. Sotheli he ordeynede Sedechie, his fadris brother, kyng on Juda and Jerusalem.
11 De vinte e um anos era Zedequias quando começou a reinar, e onze anos reinou em Jerusalém.
Sedechie was of oon and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede eleuene yeer in Jerusalem.
12 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR seu Deus, e não se humilhou diante do profeta Jeremias, que lhe falava da parte do SENHOR.
And he dide yuel in the siyt of `his Lord God, and he was not aschamed of the face of Jeremye, the prophete, spekynge to hym bi the mouth of the Lord.
13 Rebelou-se também contra Nabucodonosor, ao qual havia jurado por Deus; e endureceu sua cerviz, e obstinou seu coração, para não voltar-se ao SENHOR o Deus de Israel.
Also he yede awey fro the kyng Nabugodonosor, that hadde made hym to swere bi God; and he made hard his nol and herte, that he nolde turne ayen to the Lord of Israel.
14 E também todos os príncipes dos sacerdotes, e o povo, aumentaram a transgressão, seguindo todas as abominações das nações, e contaminando a casa do SENHOR, a qual ele havia santificado em Jerusalém.
But also alle the princes of preestis and the puple trespassiden wickidli, bi alle abhomynaciouns of hethene men; and thei defouliden the hows of the Lord, which he halewide to hym silf in Jerusalem.
15 E o SENHOR o Deus de seus pais enviou a eles por meio de seus mensageiros, enviando insistentemente: porque ele tinha misericórdia de seu povo, e de sua habitação.
Forsothe the Lord God of her fadris sente to hem bi the hond of hise messangeris, and roos bi nyyt, and amonestide ech day; for he sparide his puple and dwellyng place.
16 Mas eles faziam escárnio dos mensageiros de Deus, e menosprezavam suas palavras, ridicularizando-se de seus profetas, até que subiu o furor do SENHOR contra seu povo, de maneira que não havia remédio.
And thei scorneden the messangeris of God, and dispisiden hise wordis, and scorneden hise prophetis; til the greet veniaunce of the Lord stiede on his puple, and noon heelyng were.
17 Pelo qual trouxe contra eles ao rei dos caldeus, que matou à espada seus rapazes na casa de seu santuário, sem perdoar jovem, nem virgem, nem velho, nem decrépito; todos os entregou em suas mãos.
And he brouyte on hem the kyng of Caldeis; and killide the yonge men of hem `bi swerd in the hows of seyntuarie; `he hadde not merci of a yong `man, and of a vergyn, and of an eld man, and sotheli nether of a man niy the deth for eldnesse, but he bitook alle in the hond of that king of Caldeis.
18 Também todos os vasos da casa de Deus, grandes e pequenos, os tesouros da casa do SENHOR, e os tesouros do rei e de seus príncipes, tudo o levou à Babilônia.
And he translatide in to Babiloyne alle the vessels of the hows of the Lord, bothe the grettere and the lasse vessels, and the tresours of the temple, and of the kyng, and of the princes.
19 E queimaram a casa de Deus, e romperam o muro de Jerusalém, e consumiram ao fogo todos seus palácios, e destruíram todos os seus objetos valiosos.
Enemyes brenten the hows of the Lord; thei distrieden the wal of Jerusalem; thei brenten alle the touris; and thei distrieden what euer thing was preciouse.
20 Os que restaram da espada foram passados à Babilônia; e foram servos dele e de seus filhos, até que veio o reino dos persas;
If ony man ascapide the swerd, he was led in to Babiloyne, and seruyde the kyng and hise sones; til the kyng of Peersis regnyde,
21 Para que se cumprisse a palavra do SENHOR pela boca de Jeremias, até que a terra houvesse aproveitado os seus descansos sabáticos; pois durante todo o tempo de sua ruina ela descansou, até que os setenta anos fossem cumpridos.
and the word of the Lord bi the mouth of Jeremye was fillid, and til the lond halewide hise sabatis. For in alle the daies of desolacioun it made sabat, til that seuenti yeer weren fillid.
22 Mas ao primeiro ano de Ciro rei dos persas, para que se cumprisse a palavra do SENHOR por boca de Jeremias, o SENHOR induziu o espírito de Ciro rei dos persas, o qual fez apregoar por todo seu reino, e também por escrito, dizendo:
Forsothe in the firste yeer of Cyrus, kyng of Persis, to fille the word of the Lord, which he hadde spoke bi the mouth of Jeremye, the Lord reiside the spirit of Cirus, king of Persis, that comaundide to be prechid in al his rewme, yhe, bi scripture, and seide, Cirus,
23 Assim diz Ciro rei dos persas: o SENHOR, o Deus dos céus, me deu todos os reinos da terra; e ele me encarregou que lhe edifique casa em Jerusalém, que é em Judá. Quem houver de vós de todo seu povo, o SENHOR seu Deus seja com o tal, e suba.
the king of Persis, seith these thingis, The Lord God of heuene yaf to me alle the rewmes of erthe, and he comaundide to me, that Y schulde bilde to hym an hows in Jerusalem, which is in Judee. Who of you is in al his puple? `his Lord God be with hym, and stie he `in to Jerusalem.
