1 João 1
1 O que era desde o princípio, o que ouvimos, o que vimos com os nossos olhos, o que temos contemplado, e nossas mãos tocaram, quanto à Palavra da vida,
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we for ourselves gazed upon, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of Life, —
2 (pois a vida já foi manifesta, e nós a vimos, demos testemunho, e vos anunciamos a vida eterna, que estava com o Pai, e a nós foi manifesta) (aiōnios g166)
And, the Life, was made manifest, and we have seen, and are bearing witness, and announcing unto you, the Age-abiding Life, which, indeed, was with the Father, and was made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
3 o que vimos e ouvimos, isso vos anunciamos, para que também vós tenhais comunhão conosco. E a nossa comunhão [é] com o Pai, e com o seu Filho Jesus Cristo.
That which we have seen and heard, are we announcing, even unto you, in order that, ye too, may have fellowship with us, and, our own fellowship also, may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 Estas coisas escrevemos para que a nossa alegria seja completa.
And, these things, are we writing, in order that, our joy, may be made full.
5 E esta é a mensagem que dele ouvimos, e vos anunciamos: que Deus é luz, e não há nele nada de trevas.
And this is the message which we have heard from him, and are reporting unto you, —that, God, is, light, and in him is, no darkness at all.
6 Se dissermos que temos comunhão com ele, e andarmos em trevas, mentimos, e não praticamos a verdade.
If we say—We have, fellowship, with him! and, in darkness, are walking, we are dealing falsely, and not doing the truth;
7 Porém, se andamos na luz, como ele está na luz, temos comunhão uns com os outros, e o sangue de Jesus, seu Filho, nos purifica de todo pecado.
Whereas, if, in the light, we are walking, as, he, is in the light, we have, fellowship one with another, and, the blood of Jesus his Son, is cleansing us from all sin.
8 Se dissermos que não temos pecado, enganamos a nós mesmos, e a verdade não está em nós.
If we say—Sin, have we none! we are deceiving, ourselves, and, the truth, is not in us.
9 Se confessarmos nossos pecados, ele é fiel e justo para nos perdoar os pecados e nos purificar de toda injustiça.
If we are confessing our sins, faithful, is he and, righteous—that he should forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Se dissermos que não pecamos, nós o fazemos de mentiroso, e a palavra dele não está em nós.
If we say—We have not sinned! false, are we making, him, and, his word, is not in us.
