1 Crônicas 9
1 E todo o Israel foi contado por genealogia: eis que estão escritos no livro dos reis de Israel: e os de Judá foram transportados a Babilônia, por causa da sua transgressão.
So all Israel were listed by genealogies; and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.
2 E os primeiros habitadores, que moravam na sua possessão e nas suas cidades, foram os israelitas, os sacerdotes, os levitas, e os nethineos.
Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.
3 Porém dos filhos de Judá, e dos filhos de Benjamin, e dos filhos de Ephraim e Manasseh, habitaram em Jerusalém:
In Jerusalem, there lived of the children of Judah, of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 Uthai, filho de Ammihud, filho de Omri, filho de Imri, filho de Bani, dos filhos de Peres, filho de Judá;
Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
5 E dos silonitas: Assias o primogênito, e seus filhos;
Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
6 E dos filhos de Zerah: Jeuel, e seus irmãos, seiscentos e noventa;
Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their brothers, six hundred and ninety.
7 E dos filhos de Benjamin: Sallu, filho de Mesullam, filho de Hodavias, filho de Hassenua,
Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
8 E Ibneias, filho de Jeroham, e Ela, filho de Uzzi, filho de Michri, e Mesullam, filho de Sephatias, filho de Reuel, filho d'Ibnijas;
and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri; and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9 E seus irmãos, segundo as suas gerações, novecentos e cincoênta e seis: todos estes homens foram cabeças dos pais nas casas de seus pais.
and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these men were heads of fathers’ households by their fathers’ houses.
10 E dos sacerdotes: Jedaias, e Jehoiarib, e Jachin,
Of the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jachin,
11 E Azarias, filho de Hilkias, filho de Mesullam, filho de Zadok, filho de Meraioth, filho de Ahitub, maioral da casa de Deus:
and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of God’s house;
12 Adaias, filho de Jeroham, filho de Pashur, filho de Malchias, e Masai, filho de Adiel, filho de Jahzera, filho de Mesullam, filho de Mesillemith, filho de Immer;
and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah; and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13 Como também seus irmãos, cabeças nas casas de seus pais, mil, setecentos e sessenta, varões valentes para a obra do ministério da casa de Deus.
and their brothers, heads of their fathers’ houses, one thousand and seven hundred and sixty; they were very able men for the work of the service of God’s house.
14 E dos levitas: Semaias, filho de Hassub, filho de Azrikam, filho de Hasabias, dos filhos de Merari;
Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 E Bakbakkar, Heres, e Galal; e Matthanias, filho de Micha, filho de Zichri, filho de Asaph;
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,
16 E Obadias, filho de Semaias, filho de Galal, filho de Jeduthun; e Berechias, filho de Asa, filho de Elkana, morador das aldeias dos netophathitas.
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 E foram porteiros: Sallum, e Akkub, e Talmon, e Ahiman, e seus irmãos, cuja cabeça era Sallum.
The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),
18 E até àquele tempo estavam de guarda à porta do rei para o oriente; estes foram os porteiros entre os arraiais dos filhos de Levi.
who previously served in the king’s gate eastward. They were the gatekeepers for the camp of the children of Levi.
19 E Sallum, filho de Kore, filho de Ebiasaph, filho de Korah, e seus irmãos da casa de seu pai, os korahitas, tinham cargo da obra do ministério, e eram guardas dos umbrais do tabernáculo: e seus pais foram capitães do arraial do Senhor, e guardadores da entrada.
Shallum was the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent. Their fathers had been over the LORD’s camp, keepers of the entry.
20 Phineas, filho de Eleazar, de antes entre eles guia, com o qual era o Senhor,
Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
21 E Zacarias, filho de Meselemias porteiro da porta da tenda da congregação.
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the door of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Todos estes, escolhidos para serem porteiros dos umbrais, foram duzentos e doze: e foram estes, segundo as suas aldeias, postos em suas genealogias; e David e Samuel, o vidente, os constituiram no seu cargo.
All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were listed by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer ordained in their office of trust.
23 Estavam pois eles, e seus filhos, às portas da casa do Senhor, na casa da tenda, junto aos guardas.
So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the LORD’s house, even the house of the tent, as guards.
24 Os porteiros estavam aos quatro ventos: ao oriente, ao ocidente, ao norte, e ao sul.
On the four sides were the gatekeepers, towards the east, west, north, and south.
25 E seus irmãos estavam nas suas aldeias, e no sétimo dia, de tempo em tempo, entravam a servir com eles.
Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them,
26 Porque havia naquele ofício quatro porteiros-mór que eram levitas, e tinham cargo das câmaras e dos tesouros da casa de Deus.
for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the rooms and over the treasuries in God’s house.
27 E de noite ficavam à roda da casa de Deus, porque a guarda lhes estava encarregada, e tinham cargo de abrir, e isto cada manhã.
They stayed around God’s house, because that was their duty; and it was their duty to open it morning by morning.
28 E alguns deles tinham cargo dos vasos do ministério, porque por conta os traziam e por conta os tiravam.
Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service, for these were brought in by count, and these were taken out by count.
29 Porque deles alguns havia que tinham cargo dos vasos e de todos os vasos sagrados; como também da flor de farinha, e do vinho, e do azeite, e do incenso, e da especiaria.
Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.
30 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes eram os obreiros da confecção das especiarias.
Some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixing of the spices.
31 E Mattithias, dentre os levitas, o primogênito de Sallum, o korahita, tinha cargo da obra que se fazia em sartãs.
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
32 E dos filhos dos kohatitas, de seus irmãos houve alguns que tinham cargo dos pães da proposição, para os prepararem em todos os sábados.
Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
33 Destes foram também os cantores, cabeças dos pais entre os levitas nas câmaras, exemplos de serviços; porque de dia e de noite estava a seu cargo ocuparem-se naquela obra.
These are the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the rooms and were free from other service, for they were employed in their work day and night.
34 Estes foram cabeças dos pais entre os levitas, chefes em suas gerações: estes habitaram em Jerusalém.
These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men. They lived at Jerusalem.
35 Porém em Gibeon habitaram Jeiel, pai de Gibeon (e era o nome de sua mulher Maaca),
Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Maacah, lived in Gibeon.
36 E seu filho primogênito Abdon: depois Zur, e Kis, e Baal, e Ner, e Nadab,
His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
37 E Gedor, e Ahio, e Zacarias, e Mikloth.
Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 E Mikloth gerou a Simeão: e também estes, defronte de seus irmãos, habitaram em Jerusalém com seus irmãos.
Mikloth became the father of Shimeam. They also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem, near their relatives.
39 E Ner gerou a Kis, e Kis gerou a Saul, e Saul gerou a Jonathan, e a Malchi-sua, e a Abinadab, e a Es-baal.
Ner became the father of Kish. Kish became the father of Saul. Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
40 E filho de Jonathan foi Merib-baal: e Merib-baal gerou a Micha.
The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal. Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
41 E os filhos de Micha foram Pithon, e Melech, e Tarea.
The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42 E Achaz gerou a Jaera, e Jaera gerou a Alemeth, e a Azmaveth, e a Zimri: e Zimri gerou a Mosa.
Ahaz became the father of Jarah. Jarah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri became the father of Moza.
43 E Mosa gerou a Binea, cujo filho foi Rephaias, cujo filho foi Elasa, cujo filho foi Asel.
Moza became the father of Binea, Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
44 E teve Asel seis filhos, e estes foram os seus nomes: Azrikam, e Boceru, e Ishmael, e Seraias, e Obadias, e Hanan: estes foram os filhos d'Asel.
Azel had six sons, whose names are Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
