Salmos 93

1 O Senhor reina; está vestido de magestade: o Senhor está vestido; cingiu-se de fortaleza: o mundo tambem está firmado, e não poderá vacillar.

The LORD reigneth; He is clothed in majesty; the LORD is clothed, He hath girded Himself with strength; yea, the world is established, that it cannot be moved.

2 O teu throno está firme desde então: tu és desde a eternidade.

Thy throne is established of old; Thou art from everlasting.

3 Os rios levantam, ó Deus, os rios levantam o seu ruido, os rios levantam as suas ondas.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring.

4 Mas o Senhor nas alturas é mais poderoso do que o ruido das grandes aguas e do que as grandes ondas do mar.

Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty.

5 Mui fieis são os teus testemunhos: a sanctidade convem á tua casa, Senhor, para sempre.

Thy testimonies are very sure, holiness becometh Thy house, O LORD, for evermore.
