Salmos 86

1 Inclina, Senhor, os teus ouvidos, e ouve-me, porque estou necessitado e afflicto.

A Prayer of David. Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and answer me; for I am poor and needy.

2 Guarda a minha alma, pois sou sancto; oh Deus meu, salva o teu servo, que em ti confia.

Keep my soul, for I am godly; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.

3 Tem misericordia de mim, ó Senhor, pois a ti clamo todo o dia.

Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto Thee do I cry all the day.

4 Alegra a alma do teu servo, pois a ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma.

Rejoice the soul of Thy servant; for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 Pois tu, Senhor, és bom, e prompto a perdoar, e abundante em benignidade para todos os que te invocam.

For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to pardon, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.

6 Dá ouvidos, Senhor, á minha oração, e attende á voz das minhas supplicas.

Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend unto the voice of my supplications.

7 No dia da minha angustia clamo a ti, porquanto me respondes.

In the day of my trouble I call upon Thee; for Thou wilt answer me.

8 Entre os deuses não ha similhante a ti, Senhor, nem ha obras como as tuas.

There is none like unto Thee among the gods, O Lord, and there are no works like Thine.

9 Todas as nações que fizeste virão e se prostrarão perante a tua face, Senhor, e glorificarão o teu nome

All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and prostrate themselves before Thee, O Lord; and they shall glorify Thy name.

10 Porque tu és grande e fazes maravilhas; só tu és Deus.

For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things; Thou art God alone.

11 Ensina-me, Senhor, o teu caminho, e andarei na tua verdade: une o meu coração ao temor do teu nome.

Teach me, O LORD, Thy way, that I may walk in Thy truth; make one my heart to fear Thy name.

12 Louvar-te-hei, Senhor Deus meu, com todo o meu coração, e glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.

I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Thy name for evermore.

13 Pois grande é a tua misericordia para comigo; e livraste a minha alma da sepultura mais profunda. (Sheol h7585)

For great is Thy mercy toward me; and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest nether-world. (Sheol h7585)

14 Ó Deus, os soberbos se levantaram contra mim, e as assembléas dos tyrannos procuraram a minha alma; e não te pozeram perante os seus olhos.

O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set Thee before them.

15 Porém tu, Senhor, és um Deus cheio de compaixão, e piedoso, soffredor, e grande em benignidade e em verdade.

But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

16 Volta-te para mim, e tem misericordia de mim; dá a tua fortaleza ao teu servo, e salva ao filho da tua serva.

O turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; give Thy strength unto Thy servant, and save the son of Thy handmaid.

17 Mostra-me um signal para bem, para que o vejam aquelles que me aborrecem, e se confundam; porque tu, Senhor, me ajudaste e me consolaste.

Work in my behalf a sign for good; that they that hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because Thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
