Psalmów 115

1 Nie nam, PANIE, nie nam, ale twemu imieniu daj chwałę za twoje miłosierdzie [i] prawdę.

Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be the glory, for your loving kindness and for your faithfulness.

2 Czemu mają mówić poganie: Gdzież teraz [jest] ich Bóg?

Why should the nations say, "Where is their God, now?"

3 A nasz Bóg [jest] w niebie, czyni wszystko, co zechce.

But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.

4 Ich bożki [to] srebro i złoto, dzieło rąk ludzkich.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5 Usta mają, ale nie mówią; mają oczy, ale nie widzą.

They have mouths, but they do not speak. They have eyes, but they do not see.

6 Uszy mają, ale nie słyszą; mają nozdrza, ale nie czują.

They have ears, but they do not hear. They have noses, but they do not smell.

7 Ręce mają, ale nie dotykają; mają nogi, ale nie chodzą; ani gardłem swoim nie wydają głosu.

They have hands, but they do not feel. They have feet, but they do not walk, neither do they speak through their throat.

8 Niech będą do nich podobni ci, którzy je robią, [i] wszyscy, którzy im ufają.

Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.

9 Izraelu, ufaj PANU; on jest ich pomocą i tarczą.

Israel, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.

10 Domu Aarona, ufaj PANU; on jest ich pomocą i tarczą.

House of Aaron, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.

11 Wy, którzy się boicie PANA, ufajcie PANU; on jest ich pomocą i tarczą.

You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.

12 PAN pamięta o nas, będzie błogosławił; będzie błogosławił domowi Izraela, będzie błogosławił domowi Aarona.

The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.

13 Będzie błogosławił tym, którzy boją się PANA, i małym, i wielkim.

He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.

14 Rozmnoży was PAN, was i waszych synów.

May the LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 Błogosławieni jesteście przez PANA, który stworzył niebo i ziemię.

Blessed are you by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

16 Niebiosa są niebiosami PANA, ale ziemię dał synom ludzkim.

The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth has he given to the descendants of Adam.

17 Umarli nie będą chwalili PANA ani nikt z tych, którzy zstępują do [miejsca] milczenia.

The dead do not praise the LORD, neither any who go down into silence;

18 Ale my będziemy błogosławili PANA, odtąd aż na wieki. Alleluja.

But we will bless the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD.
