Jozuego 13

1 I gdy Jozue zestarzał się i był w podeszłym wieku, PAN powiedział do niego: Zestarzałeś się i posunąłeś się w latach, a pozostało jeszcze dużo ziemi do zdobycia.

Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

2 Oto ziemia, która pozostała: wszystkie okręgi Filistynów i Geszurytów;

This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

3 Od Szichoru, który jest naprzeciw Egiptu, aż do granicy Akaronu na północy – [jest to ziemia] przynależąca do Kananejczyków, pięciu książąt filistyńskich: z Gazy, Aszdodu, Aszkelonu, Gat i Ekronu, oraz Awwici;

from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the border of Ekron northward, [which] is counted to the Canaanites: the five lords of the Philistines. the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,

4 Od południa: cała ziemia Kananejczyków oraz Meara, która należy do Sydończyków, aż do Afek [i] aż do granicy Amorytów;

on the south: all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongeth to the Zidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites:

5 I ziemia Gibilitów i cały Liban na wschodzie, od Baal-Gad pod górę Hermon, aż do wejścia do Chamat.

and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entering in of Hamath:

6 Wszystkich mieszkańców gór od Libanu aż do Misrefot-Maim [i] wszystkich Sydończyków wypędzę przed synami Izraela. Tylko podziel ją losem między Izraelitów jako dziedzictwo, tak jak ci rozkazałem.

all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, even all the Zidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only allot thou it unto Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

7 Rozdziel więc teraz tę ziemię jako dziedzictwo dziewięciu pokoleniom i połowie pokolenia Manassesa;

Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

8 Gdyż z drugą [połową] Rubenici i Gadyci otrzymali już swoje dziedzictwo, które dał im Mojżesz za Jordanem na wschodzie, jak przydzielał im Mojżesz, sługa PANA;

With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;

9 Od Aroeru, leżącego nad brzegiem rzeki Arnon, i od miasta, które jest w środku rzeki, wraz z całą równiną Medeby aż do Dibonu;

from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;

10 I wszystkie miasta Sichona, króla Amorytów, który królował w Cheszbonie, aż do granicy synów Ammona;

and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;

11 Także Gilead i obszar Geszurytów i Maakatytów, całą górę Hermon i cały Baszan aż do Salka;

and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salecah;

12 Całe królestwo Oga w Baszanie, który królował w Asztarot i w Edrei; był on ostatnim z Refaitów, których Mojżesz pobił i wypędził.

all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for these did Moses smite, and drave them out.

13 Lecz synowie Izraela nie wypędzili Geszurytów i Maakatytów, dlatego Geszuryci i Maakatyci mieszkają pośród Izraelitów do dziś.

Nevertheless the children of Israel drave not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwelt in the midst of Israel, unto this day.

14 Tylko pokoleniu Lewiego nie dał dziedzictwa; ofiary spalane dla PANA, Boga Izraela, są jego dziedzictwem, jak mu [Bóg] powiedział.

Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the offerings of the LORD, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.

15 Mojżesz dał więc pokoleniu synów Rubena [dziedzictwo] według ich rodzin.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.

16 Ich granica była od Aroeru, leżącego nad brzegiem rzeki Arnon, i od miasta, które jest w środku rzeki, wraz z całą równiną ku Medebie;

And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

17 Cheszbon i wszystkie przyległe do niego miasta, które były na równinie: Dibon, Bamot-Baal i Bet-Baal-Meon;

Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;

18 Jahaza, Kedemot i Mefaat;

and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath;

19 Kiriataim, Sibma i Seret-Haszszachar na górze w dolinie;

and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mount of the valley;

20 Bet-Peor, Aszdod-Pisga i Bet-Jeszimot.

and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;

21 I wszystkie miasta na równinie oraz całe królestwo Sichona, króla Amorytów, który królował w Cheszbonie, a którego Mojżesz zabił tak jak książąt Midianu: Ewi, Rekem, Sur, Chur, Reba, książęta Sichona zamieszkali w [tej] ziemi.

and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.

22 I wróżbitę Balaama, syna Beora, wraz z innymi zabitymi synowie Izraela zabili mieczem.

Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.

23 Granicą synów Rubena był Jordan ze [swymi] granicami. Oto dziedzictwo synów Rubena według ich rodzin, miast i przyległych do nich wsi.

And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border [thereof]. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

24 Mojżesz dał też [dziedzictwo] pokoleniu Gada, synom Gada według ich rodzin.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.

25 A ich granice obejmowały Jazer i wszystkie miasta Gileadu oraz połowę ziemi synów Ammona aż do Aroeru [leżącego] naprzeciw Rabby;

And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;

26 I od Cheszbonu aż do Ramat-Mispa i Betonim oraz od Machanaim aż do granicy Debiru.

and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;

27 W dolinie zaś: Bet-Haram, Bet-Nimra, Sukkot i Safon, resztę królestwa Sichona, króla Cheszbonu, Jordan i [jego] pogranicze aż do końca morza Kinneret po wschodniej stronie Jordanu.

and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and the border [thereof], unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond Jordan eastward.

28 Oto dziedzictwo synów Gada według ich rodzin, miast i przyległych do nich wsi.

This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

29 Mojżesz dał też [posiadłość] połowie pokolenia Manassesa; przypadła ona połowie pokolenia synów Manassesa według ich rodzin.

And Moses gave [inheritance] unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and it was for the half tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.

30 Ich granica była od Machanaim, obejmowała cały Baszan [i] całe królestwo Oga, króla Baszanu oraz wszystkie wsie Jaira, które są w Baszanie, sześćdziesiąt miast.

And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:

31 Połowę Gileadu, Asztarot i Erdei, miasta królestwa Oga w Baszanie, [dał] synom Makira, syna Manassesa, a ściśle – połowie synów Makira według ich rodzin.

and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.

32 Oto [posiadłości], które Mojżesz podzielił na polach Moabu za Jordanem, [naprzeciw] Jerycha na wschodzie.

These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

33 Lecz pokoleniu Lewiego Mojżesz nie dał dziedzictwa, gdyż PAN, Bóg Izraela, sam [jest] ich dziedzictwem, jak im to powiedział.

But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave none inheritance: the LORD, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spake unto them.
