Psalm 53

1 ME pweipwei kan kin indinda nan mongiong arail: Sota Kot. Arail tiak meid sued. Arail sapung kan sakanekan. Sota amen mia, me kin wia me mau.

To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good.

2 Ieowa kin irerong aramas akan sang nanlang, pwen masani, ma amen mia, me lolekong o rapaki Kot.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were [any] that did understand, that did seek God.

3 A ir karos suedalar, o karos sapungalar, sota me kin wiada me mau, sota amen.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; [there is] none that doeth good, no, not one.

4 Ir karos me kin wiada me sued, sota arail lolekong, irail, me kin namala nai aramas akan rasong prot, a re sota kin likwir ong Kot.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

5 Rap masak ni sota karepa, pwe Kot kotin kamueit pasanger kokon en ir, me kin kapil uk pena. Kom kotin kanamenok ir alar, pwe Kot kotin kase ir ala.

There were they in great fear, [where] no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth [against] thee: thou hast put [them] to shame, because God hath despised them.

6 O i men, sauas pan Israel en kodo sang nan Sion, o Kot en kotin lapwada sapwilim a salidi kan! I me Iakop pan insen mauki o Israel pan pereperenki.

Oh that the salvation of Israel [were come] out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.
