Psalm 129

1 ISRAEL en inda: Re katoutou ia melel sang ni ai tikitik lel met pak toto.

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

2 Pan pak toto re katoutou ia melel sang ni ai tikitik lel met; ari so, re sota kak kaloe ia di.

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

3 Men sapasap weirada pon tinsau ai, wiadar warawar reirei.

The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

4 A Ieowa me pung, a kotin lepuk pasanger sal en me doo sang Kot akan.

Yhwh is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

5 Karos me kin tataki Sion, en sarodi o tangwei!

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

6 Ren rasong rä pon os en im o, me kin mong pena mon a pan ususda!

Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

7 Me sota kin kadirela kumut en pa en saundolung, de pa en me kin pir pena kap akan.

Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

8 Pwe me kin daulul wasa o, ren der inda: Kot en kotin kupura maui komail! Kit kapai komail da ni mar en Ieowa!

Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of Yhwh be upon you: we bless you in the name of Yhwh.
