1 RE meid pai, me sota kin sapung ni al arail, me kin weweid ni kapung en Ieowa!
ALEPH Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the LORD’s law.
2 Re meid pai, me kin kolekol a kadede akan, me kin rapaki i sang nan mongiong arail!
Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.
3 Me sota kin wia me sued, a weweid nan a al akan.
Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.
4 Pein komui kotikidar sapwilim omui kusoned akan, pwe sen porisok kapwaiada.
You have commanded your precepts, that we should fully obey them.
5 O ma al ai kan inen wei, pwen kapwaiada omui kusoned akan,
Oh that my ways were steadfast to obey your statutes!
6 I ap sota pan sarodi, ni ai pan apapwali sapwilim omui kusoned akan karos.
Then I wouldn’t be disappointed, when I consider all of your commandments.
7 I danke komui sang nan mongiong i melel, pwe kom kotin padaki dong ia duen omui masan pung.
I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.
8 I pan kanai ong sapwilim omui kusoned akan, kom der likidmaliela.
I will observe your statutes. Don’t utterly forsake me.
9 Iaduen, manakap amen pan kak weweid ni makelekel? Ma a pan wiawia duen ar masan akan.
BETH How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
10 I raparapa kin komui sang nan mongiong i; kom der kotin mueid ong, i en pup wei sang ni omui kusoned akan.
With my whole heart I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments.

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Blessed are you, LORD. Teach me your statutes.

With my lips, I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth.

I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I pan madamadaua duen omui kusoned akan, o kanai ong omui al akan.
I will meditate on your precepts, and consider your ways.
16 I kin peren kida omui kusoned akan, i sota pan monokela omui masan akan.
I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.
17 Kom kotin kamauiada sapwilim omui ladu, pwe i en memaur eta; i ap pan kapwaiada omui masan o.
GIMEL Do good to your servant. I will live and I will obey your word.
18 Kom kotin kapad pasang mas ai, pwe i en kilang manaman akan nan sapwilim omui kapung o.
Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your Torah.
19 Ngai men kairu men nin sappa; kom der kotin karir sang mo i omui kusoned akan.
I am a stranger on the earth. Don’t hide your commandments from me.
20 Ngen i okilar ai inong iong omui kusoned akan ansau karos.
My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.
21 Kom kotin ongiongi me aklapalap o, me pan wuki wei sang omui kusoned akan, en riala.
You have rebuked the proud who are cursed, who wander from your commandments.
22 Kom kotin katoror sang ia namenok o me sued; pwe i kin apapwali ar kadede kan.
Take reproach and contempt away from me, for I have kept your statutes.
23 Pil saupeidi kan kin momod pena, kaokao ad ai; sapwilim omui ladu kin madamadaua duen omui kusoned akan.
Though princes sit and slander me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.
24 Melel, i kin peren kida omui kadede kan, pwe ir me sauas pa i.
Indeed your statutes are my delight, and my counselors.
25 Ngen i onon nan pwel; kamanga ia duen omui masan.
DALETH My soul is laid low in the dust. Revive me according to your word!
26 I potoan ong komui duen al ai kan, komui ap kotin mangi ia er; kotin padaki ong ia omui kusoned akan.
I declared my ways, and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.
27 Kom kotin padaki ong ia duen al en sapwilim omui kusoned akan, i ap pan madamadaua duen ar manaman akan.
Let me understand the teaching of your precepts! Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28 Mongiong i luet kilar ai insensued; kom kotin kamanga ia da duen ar masan.
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
29 Re kotin pera wei sang ia al en likam, o kotiki ong ia ar masan.
Keep me from the way of deceit. Grant me your Torah graciously!
30 I piladar al en melel; i kin madamadaua duen omui kusoned.
I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your ordinances before me.

I cling to your statutes, LORD. Don’t let me be disappointed.

I run in the path of your commandments, for you have set my heart free.

HE Teach me, LORD, the way of your statutes. I will keep them to the end.

Give me understanding, and I will keep your Torah. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

Direct me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in them.

Turn my heart toward your statutes, not toward selfish gain.

Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways.
38 Kolekol omui inau ong sapwilim omui ladu, pwe i en masak komui.
Fulfill your promise to your servant, that you may be feared.
39 Kotiki sang ia namenok, me i suedeki; pwe omui kusoned akan me mau.
Take away my disgrace that I dread, for your ordinances are good.
40 Kotin mangi, i kin inong iong ar masan akan; kakele kin ia omui pung.
Behold, I long for your precepts! Revive me in your righteousness.
41 Maing Ieowa, kom kotin maki ong ia, o kotin sauasa ia duen omui inau.
VAV Let your loving kindness also come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your word.
42 Pwe i en asa, sapeng ir, me mamale kin ia, pwe i kin liki omui masan.
So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in your word.

Don’t snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, for I put my hope in your ordinances.

So I will obey your Torah continually, forever and ever.

I will walk in liberty, for I have sought your precepts.

I will also speak of your statutes before kings, and will not be disappointed.

I will delight myself in your commandments, because I love them.
48 I kin pokadang pa i kat omui kusoned akan, me i pok ong, o i pan madamadaua duen omui kusoned akan.
I reach out my hands for your commandments, which I love. I will meditate on your statutes.
49 Kotin tamanda sapwilim omui ladu, duen omui masan, me i kin kaporoporeki.
ZAYIN Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.

This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.

The arrogant mock me excessively, but I don’t swerve from your Torah.

I remember your ordinances of old, LORD, and have comforted myself.

Indignation has taken hold on me, because of the wicked who forsake your Torah.

Your statutes have been my songs in the house where I live.

I have remembered your name, LORD, in the night, and I obey your Torah.

This is my way, that I keep your precepts.

HETH The LORD is my portion. I promised to obey your words.

I sought your favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.

I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your statutes.

I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.

The ropes of the wicked bind me, but I won’t forget your Torah.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because of your righteous ordinances.
63 I kin waroki ong ir karos, me masak komui o ir, me apapwali omui kusoned akan.
I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.
64 Maing Ieowa, sappa direki omui kalangan; padaki ong ia omui kusoned akan.
The earth is full of your loving kindness, LORD. Teach me your statutes.
65 Maing Ieowa, komui me kotin wiai ong sapwilim omui ladu kamau kan duen omui inau o.
TETH You have treated your servant well, according to your word, LORD.

Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.

Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I observe your word.
68 Komui me mau o kapunglol, kotin padaki dong ia sapwilim omui kusoned akan.
You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.
69 Me aklapalap akan kin kalikama ia; a ngai kin apapwali omui kusoned akan sang nan mongiong i.
The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts.
70 Mongiong arail masul kila wi; a i kin peren kida omui kapung.
Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your Torah.
71 Meid mau ong ia omui kaopampap ia la, pwe i en padakki omui kusoned akan.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.
72 Kapung sang nan silang omui mau ong ia, sang kold o silper kid toto.
The Torah you have spoken is better to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
73 Lim omui kan kapik o wia ia dar, padaki ong ia, pwe i en asa omui kusoned akan.
YODH Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

Those who fear you will see me and be glad, because I have put my hope in your word.

LORD, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant.

Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your Torah is my delight.

Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.
79 Me masak komui, ren waroki ong ia, o me asa duen omui kadede kan.
Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your statutes.
80 Mongiong i en pung ni omui kusoned akan, pwe i ender sarodi.
Let my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that I may not be disappointed.
81 Ngen i kin inong iong omui dore ia la, i auiaui omui masan.
KAPF My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.
82 Por en mas ai kin anane omui inau, kalelapok: Iad me kom pan kotin kamait ia la?
My eyes fail for your word. I say, “When will you comfort me?”
83 Pwe i luetalar rasong deun pil eu nan adiniai, i sota monokela omui kusoned akan.
For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke. I don’t forget your statutes.
84 Arai da, sapwilim omui ladu pan memaurada? Iad me kom pan kotin kadeikada ai imwintiti kan?
How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment on those who persecute me?

The proud have dug pits for me, contrary to your Torah.

All of your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me!

They had almost wiped me from the earth, but I didn’t forsake your precepts.

Preserve my life according to your loving kindness, so I will obey the statutes of your mouth.

LAMEDH LORD, your word is settled in heaven forever.

Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.

The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider your statutes.

I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commands are boundless.

I have not turned away from your ordinances, for you have taught me.

How sweet are your promises to my taste, more than honey to my mouth!
104 Omui kusoned akan kin kalolekong ia, i me i kin tataki al sapung karos.
Through your precepts, I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
105 Sapwilim omui masan me ser pan nä i, o kamarain pan al ai.
NUN Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.
106 I kaukilar, me i pan kolekol omui kusoned pung kan, o i pan kapwaiada.
I have sworn, and have confirmed it, that I will obey your righteous ordinances.

I am afflicted very much. Revive me, LORD, according to your word.

Accept, I beg you, the willing offerings of my mouth. LORD, teach me your ordinances.

My soul is continually in my hand, yet I won’t forget your Torah.

The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I haven’t gone astray from your precepts.

I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.

I have set my heart to perform your statutes forever, even to the end.

SAMEKH I hate double-minded men, but I love your Torah.

You are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in your word.

Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.

Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope.

Hold me up, and I will be safe, and will have respect for your statutes continually.

You reject all those who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is in vain.

You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love your testimonies.

My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments.

AYIN I have done what is just and righteous. Don’t leave me to my oppressors.
122 Sauasa sapwilim omui ladu o kamaitala i; me aklapalap akan ender sued ong ia.
Ensure your servant’s well-being. Don’t let the proud oppress me.
123 Por en mas ai inong iong omui kamaur ia, o omui inau pung.
My eyes fail looking for your salvation, for your righteous word.
124 Wia ong sapwilim omui ladu duen omui kalangan, o kotin padaki ong ia omui kusoned akan.
Deal with your servant according to your loving kindness. Teach me your statutes.
125 Ngai sapwilim omui ladu; kotin padaki ong ia, pwe i en dedeki sapwilim omui kadede kan.
I am your servant. Give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies.
126 Ansau leler, me Ieowa pan kotin wiawia; pwe irail kawela sapwilim omui kapung.
It is time to act, LORD, for they break your Torah.

Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, more than pure gold.

I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I longed for your commandments.

Turn to me, and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.

Establish my footsteps in your word. Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.

Redeem me from the oppression of man, so I will observe your precepts.

Streams of tears run down my eyes, because they don’t observe your Torah.

TZADHE You are righteous, LORD. Your judgments are upright.

You have commanded your statutes in righteousness. They are fully trustworthy.

My zeal wears me out, because my enemies ignore your words.
140 Omui masan meid makelekel, o sapwilim omui ladu kin pok ong.
Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.

I am small and despised. I don’t forget your precepts.

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness. Your Torah is truth.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold of me. Your commandments are my delight.

I have called to you. Save me! I will obey your statutes.

I rise before dawn and cry for help. I put my hope in your words.

My eyes stay open through the night watches, that I might meditate on your word.
149 Ereki ngil ai duen ar kalangan; Maing Ieowa, kamaur ia da duen omui kusoned akan.
Hear my voice according to your loving kindness. Revive me, LORD, according to your ordinances.
150 Ai imwintiti sued akan koren iong ia, a re doo sang sapwilim omui kapung;
They draw near who follow after wickedness. They are far from your Torah.
151 Maing Ieowa, komui me koren iong ia, o omui kusoned akan karos me melel.
You are near, LORD. All your commandments are truth.
152 I asa sang mas o, me komui kasonedier sapwilim omui kadede kan, pwen potopot eta.
Of old I have known from your testimonies, that you have founded them forever.
153 Kom kotin irerong ai luet, o kamaio ia da! Pwe i sota monokela omui kapung.
RESH Consider my affliction, and deliver me, for I don’t forget your Torah.

Plead my cause, and redeem me! Revive me according to your promise.

Salvation is far from the wicked, for they don’t seek your statutes.

Great are your tender mercies, LORD. Revive me according to your ordinances.

I have hoped for your salvation, LORD. I have done your commandments.
167 Mongiong i kin kolekol sapwilim omui kadede kan, o kin pok ong irail melel.
My soul has observed your testimonies. I love them exceedingly.

I have obeyed your precepts and your testimonies, for all my ways are before you.

Let my tongue sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteousness.

Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
174 Maing Ieowa, i kin inong iong omui kamaur, o i kin peren kida omui kapung.
I have longed for your salvation [yeshuat], LORD. Your Torah is my delight.
175 Kom kotin ieiang ngen i, pwen memaur eta ap kapinga komui, o lim omui pali maun en sauasa ia.
Let my soul live, that I may praise you. Let your ordinances help me.
176 Ngai ras ong sip amen me sansalong sili o salongala; kom kotin rapaki sapwilim omui ladu, pwe i sota monokela omui kusoned akan.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I don’t forget your commandments.
