< Lukas 9 >

1 A LAO kotin molipe pena ekriamen oko, ap kotiki ong irail kel o manaman, en kaloedi tewil akan karos o kakelada me somau kan.
And having summoned the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases.
2 I ari kotin porone ir ala, pwen padapadak duen wein Kot o kakelada me somau kan.
And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal those who were incapacitated.
3 O a kotin masani ong irail: Komail der wala meakot pon al o: Sota sokon, de ed, de prot, de moni, amen pil so pan wa sakit riau.
And he said to them, Take nothing for the way, neither staffs, nor bag, nor bread, nor silver, nor have two coats each.
4 O wasa kis me komail pan pedelong ong nan im eu, komail pan mimieta wasa o, komail lao kowei sang ia.
And into whatever house ye may enter, remain there, and from there depart.
5 O meamen kang kasamo komail, komail sapalewei sang kanim o, o sipede sang pwel ni nä omail, pwen kadede ong irail.
And as many as will not receive you, when departing from that city, also shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6 Irail ari kokola, kakan sili nan kisin kanim akan, padaki rongamau o kakelada me somau kan wasa karos.
And having departed, they passed through the villages, preaching the good news, and healing everywhere.
7 A nanmarki Erodes lao mangi duen meakan, me wiauiki i, ap pingidar, pweki akai katitiki, me dene Ioanes iasadar sang ren me melar akan.
But Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him. And he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John was risen from the dead,
8 A akai indada, me dene Elias pwarado, o akai me inda, me dene saukop en kaua men iasadar,
and by some that Elijah appeared, and by others that a prophet, one of the ancient men arose.
9 A Erodes masani: Ioanes, i me i lepuke sang mong a, a is men et, me i kin rongerong due? A ap men udial i.
And Herod said, I beheaded John, but who is this about whom I hear such things? And he sought to see him.
10 A wanporon akan lao pure doer, ap kaireki i karos, me re wiadar. I ari kotin uk irail ada, kotilang wasa rir, nan kanim eu, me ad a Petsaida.
And when the apostles returned, they related to him as many things as they did. And having taken them along, he withdrew in private into a desolate place of a city called Bethsaida.
11 Toun sap o lao asaer, rap idauenla i, i ari kotin kasamo irail, o kotin padaki ong irail duen wein Kot, o kotin kakelada me mau ong.
But the multitudes having known, they followed him. And having received them, he spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and he cured those who had need of healing.
12 A lao pan wasa pongier, ekriamen potodo potoan ong i: Re kotin kadar pasang pokon en, pwen kola nan kisin kanim akan o nan sap, en rapaki wasan pweidi o kan ar kisin manga, pwe kitail kotikot nan sap tan wet,
And the day began to decline, and the twelve having come near, they said to him, Send the multitude away, so that, after going into the villages and fields around, they may rest and find provision, because we are here in a desolate place.
13 A a kotin masani ong irail: Komail pan ki ong irail kan ar manga! Re potoan ong: Lopon prot eta limau o mam eta riamen mi re at. De se pan kola netie dong pokon kalaimun wet manga?
But he said to them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, There are for us not more than five loaves and two fishes, unless, after going, we might buy food for all this people.
14 Pwe irail me ol impan limekid. A a kotin masani ong sapwilim a tounpadak kan: Komail pwini ir pasang wad limek o limek!
For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in groups of fifty each.
15 Irail ari wiada o kamod irail edi.
And they did so, and made them all sit down.
16 A kotin limada lopon prot limau o mam riamen, masanda nanlang, laolaoki, pilitiki pena, kotiki ong sapwilim a tounpadak kan, pwe ren nene ong pokon o.
And after taking the five loaves and the two fishes, having looked up to heaven, he blessed them, and broke in pieces, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
17 Irail sak, o karos medier, ap rikada dodo eisokriau luan kamadip o.
And they ate, and were all filled. And there were taken up to them of the remaining fragments, twelve baskets.
18 Kadekadeo ni a kotin laolao kelep, sapwilim a tounpadak kan iang i. A kotin kainoma re’rail masani: Is me aramas kin inda me ngai?
And it came to pass, as he was praying privately, the disciples were with him. And he questioned them, saying, Who do the multitudes say that I am?
19 Irail sapeng potoan ong: Ioanes saunpaptais, a akai me inda Elias, o pil akai kin inda, me dene saukop en kaua men iasadar.
And having answered, they said, John the immerser, but others, Elijah, and others, that a certain prophet of the ancient men arose.
20 A kotin masani ong irail: A da me komail kin inda is ngai? Petrus ap sapeng potoan ong: Ir me Kristus sapwilim en Kot.
And he said to them, But ye, who say ye that I am? And having answered, Peter said, The Christ of God.
21 A i me kotin padik inapwiedi irail, ren der indang meamen mepukat,
But having chided them, he commanded to tell this to no man,
22 Masani: Nain aramas pan kalokolok laud, o lokidokila ren saumas, o samero lapalap, o saunkawewe kan, o a pan kamela, o ni ran kasilu a pan maureda,
saying, It is necessary for the Son of man to suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scholars, and be killed, and the third day to rise.
23 Ap kotin masani ong irail karos: Meamen men idauen ia i en tonmeteki pein i o ale a lopu ni ran karos, o idedauen ia do.
And he said to all, If any man wants to come behind me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
24 Pwe meamen kanakanai ong maur a, pan pupe sang. A meamen kasela maur a pweki ngai, pan diarada.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever may lose his life because of me, this man will save it.
25 Pwe da me pan mau ong aramas amen, me aneki pena sappa karos, ap kasela pein i o kasapokela pein i?
For what is a man benefited, having gained the whole world, but having lost or having forfeited himself?
26 Pwe me kin namenok kin ia o ai padak kan, i me Nain aramas pil pan namenokki, a lao kodo ni a lingan, o lingan en Sam a, o na tounlang saraui kan.
For whoever may be ashamed of me and of my words, the Son of man will be ashamed of this man when he comes in his glory, and of the Father, and of the holy agents.
27 A melel I indai ong komail, akai irail, me mi met, sota pan mela, irail lao udial wein Kot.
But I tell you truly, there are some of those who stand here, who will, no, not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
28 A kadekadeo murin pong walu pong murin masan pukat i ap ukada Petrus, o Ioanes, o Iakopus kotidala pon nana o pwen laolao.
And it came to pass about eight days after these sayings, that after taking Peter and John and James, he went up onto the mountain to pray.
29 A ni a kotin laolao mom en silang i ap wukila o sapwilim a likau puetepuetela o lingaling.
And as he was praying, the appearance of his face became different, and his clothing glistening white.
30 A kilang, ol riamen iang i masan pena! Ira me Moses o Elias.
And behold, two men talked with him, who were Moses and Elijah,
31 Ira pwarado ni ara lingan o mamasani duen a pan kamatala nan Ierusalem.
who, having appeared in glory, spoke of his departure, which he was going to fulfill at Jerusalem.
32 A Petrus o me iang i me toutouki mair. Ira lao pirida, re ap udial a lingan o ol riamen kotikot impa.
But Peter and those with him were weighed down with sleep, and having become awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.
33 Kadekadeo ira lao kotiwei sang re a, Petrus ap indang Iesus: Maing, meid mau atail kotikot met. Kit en kauada kisin im silikis: Tanpas ar, o en Moses, o en Elias; a sasa me a kasokasoi.
And it came to pass, as they were departing from him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here, and we could make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah, not knowing what he was saying.
34 Ni a kasokasoi mepukat, pali en dapok kadupal irail edi, irail ari masakadar ni ar tilong nan dapok o.
And while he was speaking these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them. And they were afraid as they entered into the cloud.
35 O ngil eu peidido sang nan dapok o masani: Iet nai ol kompok, komail en rong i!
And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son. Hear ye him.
36 A ngil wet lao wiauier, re ap diaradar Iesus ta. Ir ari nenenlata; o ni ran oko re sota kaireki meamen duen me re kilanger.
And at the occurrence of the voice, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and informed no man in those days any of the things that they have seen.
37 A kadekadeo manda en ran o irail lao kotidido sang nana o, pokon kalaimun ap poto dong i,
And it came to pass, on the next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.
38 A kilang, ol amen nan pokon o ngil laudeda potoan ong: Saunpadak, i poeki re ir, re kotin masani dong ai tungol putak o, pwe iei ai ieros.
And behold, a man from the crowd cried out, saying, Teacher, I beseech thee to look upon my son, because he is the only begotten to me.
39 Re kotin mangi, ngen o lao koledi i, a kin madang weriwer, a kin senseroki sili, a ap kin pudopud o meid apwal ni a kin koiei sang i.
And lo, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out, and it convulses him with foaming. And it departs from him difficultly, injuring him.
40 Ngai ari poeki ren sapwilim ar tounpadak kan, ren kause wei sang i, a re sota kak.
And I begged thy disciples that they might cast it out, and they could not.
41 A Iesus kotin sapeng masani: O di wet meid soposon o sapung, ia arain ai pan mimi re omail? Ia arain ai pan kokoa komail? Wa dong ia noum putak!
And having answered, Jesus said, O faithless and perverted generation, how long will I be with you and endure you? Bring thy son here.
42 A ni a kokodo, tewil ap kapururada o seroki sili i, a Iesus kotin kidaueda ngen saut o, o kakelada putak o, ap kapure ong i ren sam a.
And as he was still coming, the demon tore him, and he convulsed. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
43 A irail karos puriamuiki manaman en Kot. A ni ar puriamuiki en Iesus a wiawia kan ap kotin masani ong sapwilim a tounpadak kan:
And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while all were wondering at all the things which Jesus did, he said to his disciples,
44 Masan pukat en kaloledi nan salong omail: Nain aramas pan pangala ni pa en aramas.
Place ye these sayings into your ears, for the Son of man is going to be delivered up into the hands of men.
45 A irail sota weweki masan wet, pwe a rir sang irail, i me irail sasaki. Irail ari masak kalelapok re a duen masan pot et.
But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, so that they did not perceive it. And they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
46 Irail ap pil lamelame, is me pan lapalap re’rail?
But a thought entered among them, which of them may be greater.
47 A Iesus lao kotin mangi ar lamelam nan mongiong arail, ap ale seri men, kida impa a,
But having perceived the thought of their heart, having taken a child, Jesus stood it beside him,
48 O masani ong irail: Meamen pan apwali kisin seri men et ni ad ai, nan a kin apwali ia, a meamen pan apwali ia, nan a kin apwali, me kadar ia do; a me tikitik re omail, nan i me pan lapalapala.
and he said to them, Whoever may receive this child in my name receives me, and whoever may receive me receives him who sent me, for he who exists smaller among you all, this man will be great.
49 Ioanes ap sapeng potoan ong: Maing, se kilanger amen, me kausewei tewil akan ni mar ar. Kit ari inapwiedi, pwe a sota kin iang kit idedauen ir.
And having answered, John said, Master, we saw a certain man casting out demons in thy name, and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.
50 A Iesus kotin masani ong i: Eder inapiedi, pwe me so kin palian komail, nan a kin iang komail.
But Jesus said to him, Do not forbid, for he who is not against us is for us.
51 A kadekadeo a lao ansau, me a pan peukadala, a ap kotin saupeilang kotilang inen wong Ierusalem.
And it came to pass, while fulfilling the days for his ascension, that he also set his face to go to Jerusalem.
52 A kotin poronela men kadar akan, me pan tiong mo a. Irail ari kokola lele dong kisin kanim en Samaria eu, pwen rapaki wasa, me a pan pweiokidi ia.
And he sent agents before his face, and they went. And having gone, they entered into a village of Samaritans, so as to make ready for him.
53 A re sota kasamo i aki a kotin saupeila kotilang inen wong Ierusalem.
And they did not receive him, because his face was going to Jerusalem.
54 Sapwilim a tounpadak kan Iakopus o Ioanes lao kilanger mepukat, ap potoan ong: Maing, ma re kotin kupura, se pan poeki, kisiniai en moredi sang nanlang, kang irail la, duen Elias wiadar.
And his disciples James and John having seen, they said, Lord, do thou want that we should call fire to come down from the sky, and consume them, as also Elijah did?
55 A i kotin saupeido, kapung ong ira masani: Koma sota asa is Ngen, me naina kin koma?
But having turned around, he rebuked them, and said, Ye do not know what kind of spirit ye are.
56 Irail ap daulul wei nan eu kisin kanim.
For the Son of man came not to destroy the lives of men, but to save. And they went to another village.
57 Kadekadeo ni arail kotikot kokodo amen ap potoan ong i: Maing i pan idedauen ir wasa karos me re pan kotila ia.
And it came to pass while they went on the way, a certain man said to him, I will follow thee wherever thou may go, Lord.
58 Iesus kotin masani ong i: Poks akan por ar mia, o manpir en pan lang pas ar mia, a Nain aramas sota wasa en kaula wei mong a.
And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky, nests, but the Son of man has not where he might lay his head.
59 A kotin masani ong amen: Idauen ia do! A i indada: Maing, komui kotin mueid ong ia mas, i en purela sarepedi sam ai.
And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, allow me first, after departing, to bury my father.
60 A Iesus kotin masani ong i: Me melar akan en sarepedi ar melar akan, a koe kowei kalok sili wein Kot!
But Jesus said to him, Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but thou, after departing, proclaim the kingdom of God.
61 Pil amen potoan: Maing, i pan idedauen ir sili, a re kotin mueid ong ia mas, i en kamurimuri ong toun im ai.
And also another said, I will follow thee, Lord, but first allow me to bid farewell to those in my house.
62 A Iesus kotin masani ong i: Sota me pan koledi men weirada pwel, ap kilang muri, a sota koiok ong wein Kot.
But Jesus said to him, No man, having put his hand to a plow, and looking to things behind, is fit for the kingdom of God.
