< Ioanes 5 >

1 MURIN mepukat ran lapalap eu en Sus oko pwaida; Iesus ap kotilang Ierusalem.
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Len pil eu mi Ierusalem impan im en sip, me ad a Petesda ni lokaia en Ipru; im limau mi impa,
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 Me somau toto mi lole: Me maskun, o me dangidang, o me motor mia, auiaui lao pil o pan mokimokid.
In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 Pwe akai ansau tounlang amen kin koti dong le o kamokideda pil o, a meamen me madang tiong mas nan pil o ni a mokimokid, iei me kin maureda sang a somau kan karos, me mi re a.
For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 A aramas amen mia, me somauki par sileisokwalu.
And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 Iesus lao kotin masani men et a wonon, ap kotin mangi, me a wonon ansau warai, ap kotin masani ong i: Koe so men kelailada?
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he says unto him, Will you be made whole?
7 Ol somau potoan ong i: Maing, sota nai aramas, me pan wa ia di wong ni pil o ansaun a mokideda. Pwe ni ai kokodi, amen kin madang mo i.
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me.
8 Iesus ap kotin masani ong i: Uda, ale ki om, kokowei!
Jesus says unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk.
9 Aramas o ap madang kelailadar, kida ki e, alu wei, a ran o ran en sapat.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 Sus oko ap indai ong me kelailadar: Ran wet ran en sapat. A sota pung koe en wewa sili ki om.
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.
11 A sapeng irail: Me kakela ia da, masani ong ia: Ale ki om koko wei!
He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up your bed, and walk.
12 Irail ap kalelapok re a: Is aramas o me indai ong uk: Ale ki om kokowei?
Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto you, Take up your bed, and walk?
13 A me kelailadar sasa i, pwe Iesus kotila sanger, pwe pokon mi wasa o.
And he that was healed know not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 Kadekadeo Iesus kotin diaradar i nan im en kaudok o ap kotin masani ong i: Kilang, koe kelailadar, koe der pil wia dip, pwe me sued kot sang mas de ko dong uk!
Afterward Jesus finds him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you.
15 Aramas o ap koieila, kaireki Sus oko, me Iesus kakeladar i.
The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
16 I me Sus oko ap raparapaki Iesus, o masamasan, pwen kamela i, pweki a kotin wiadar meakan ni ran en sapat.
And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
17 Iesus kotin sapeng irail: Sam ai kin dodok kokodo, a ngai pil iang dodok.
But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.
18 I me Sus oko ap masamasan melel, en kamatala i, pweki a kotin kawela ran en sapat o pil masani, me dene Kot Sam a, o a kaparoki ong pein i Kot.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
19 Iesus ap kotin sapeng masani ong irail: Melel melel I indai ong komail, a sota kak, Na en pein wia meakot, pwe i eta, me a kilang ren Sam, me a wiada. Pwe me a kin wiada, iei me Na pil kin wiada.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things whatsoever he does, these also does the Son likewise.
20 Pwe sam pok ong Na o kasansale ong i karos, me pein i kin wiada. O a pan kasale ong i wiawia kan, me lapa sang met akan, pwe komail en puriamui kila.
For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that all of you may marvel.
21 Pwe duen Sam kin kapikapirida me melar akan, kamaur ir ada, iduen Na pil kamaureda me a mauki.
For as the Father raises up the dead, and replenishes life to them; even so the Son gives life to whom he will.
22 Pwe sota me Sam kin kadeikada, pwe a kotiki ong Na kadeik o.
For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 Pwe karos en wauneki Na, dueta ar wauneki Sam. Me sota wauneki Na, sota kin wauneki Sam, me kadar i dor.
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent him.
24 Melel, melel I indai ong komail, meamen rong ai padak o poson, me kadar ia do, a aneki maur soutuk. A a sota pan pangalang kadeik o, pwe a sapale sang mela sapal ong maur. (aiōnios g166)
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, (logos) and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (aiōnios g166)
25 Melel, melel I indai ong komail, ansau kokodo, iei a leler, me melar akan pan rongada ngil en Nain Kot, a me rongadar pan maureda.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 Pwe duen Sam a udan maur, iduen a ki ong Na, en pil udan maur.
For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 O a kotiki ong i manaman, en kaunda kadeik o, pweki Nain aramas i.
And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Der puriamuiki met, pwe ansau kokodo me irail, me mi nan sousou kan, pan rong ngil a.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 Irail ap pan pwarada: Me wiadar me mau, en maureda, pwen memaur, a me wiadar mesued, en maureda, pwen pangalang kadeik o.
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30 Sota me I kak wiada sang pein ngai, duen me I kin rong, iduen I kin kadeikada, o ai kadeik me pung, pwe I sota kin rapaki insen ai, pwe kupur en i, me kadar ia do.
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.
31 Ma I kadede pein ngai, ai kadede sota melel.
If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32 Amen me kadede ia, a I asa melel, me a kadede ia me melel.
There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true.
33 Komail me ilakilang Ioanes, i ari me kadede melel.
All of you sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.
34 A I sota kin ale kadede ren aramas, a iet me I indawei, pwe komail en dorola.
But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that all of you might be saved.
35 I me ser umpul o marain eu, a komail men perenki a marain ansau kis.
He was a burning and a shining light: and all of you were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
36 A ai kadede me lapa sang en Ioanes. Pwe dodok kan, me Sam o kotiki ong ia, I en kapwaiada, iei dodok kan, me I kin wiawia, me kadede ia, me Sam kadar ia dor.
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father has sent me.
37 A Sam, me kadar ia dor, pein i kadede ia. Komail sota rongadar ngil a, o sota kilang mom a.
And the Father himself, which has sent me, has borne witness of me. All of you have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38 O a masan sota kin kot re omail, pwe komail sota poson, me a kadarador.
And all of you have not his word (logos) abiding in you: for whom he has sent, him all of you believe not.
39 Komail kin kalelapok nan kisin likau kan, pwe komail lamelame, me maur soutuk mi lole. Ari, iei irail, me kin kadede ia. (aiōnios g166)
Search the scriptures; for in them all of you think all of you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. (aiōnios g166)
40 A komail kang ko dong ia, pwe komail en aneki maur.
And all of you will not come to me, that all of you might have life.
41 I sota kin mauki ale wau ren aramas akan.
I receive not honour from men.
42 I asa komail, limpok en Kot sota kin mi re omail.
But I know you, that all of you have not the love (agape) of God in you.
43 I kodo ni mar en Sam ai, a komail sota kin kasamo ia. A ma amen pan kokido pein ad a, komail pan kasamo i.
I am come in my Father's name, and all of you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him all of you will receive.
44 Pala komail kak poson ni omail ngongongki wau ren aramas, ap sota rapaki wau sang ren Kot.
How can all of you believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only?
45 Der kiki ong, me I pan mpäkin komail ren Sam, amen me kin mpäkin komail: Moses, me komail kin kaporoporeki.
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom all of you trust.
46 Pwe ma komail posonla Moses, komail pan poson ia, pwe i me intingiedier duen ngai.
For had all of you believed Moses, all of you would have believed me; for he wrote of me.
47 A ma komail so kamelele a inting kan, pala komail pan kamelele ai padak kan?
But if all of you believe not his writings, how shall all of you believe my words? (rhema)
