1 Mana twenga tuvimaa kuwera shisasa ashi shatulikala pasipanu, ndo nshimba zyetu, pazitupulwa, Mlungu hakatupanani numba ya mashaka goseri kumpindi, numba ya mashaka goseri yayinyawilwa ndiri kwa mawoku ga wantu. (aiōnios g166)
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)
2 Na vinu, twankulolera kwa mata nentu kupananwa nshimba ya kumpindi kwa Mlungu.
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed on with our house which is from heaven:
3 Toziya patupananwa nshimba zya kumpindi kwa Mlungu, hapeni tuwoneki twahera nshimba.
If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 Twenga patuwera twankali twankulikala mushisasa ashi sha pasipanu, twankusapira na kufintirwa, tufira ndiri kuyivula nshimba ayi ya kuhowa, kumbiti tufira kuvalisiwa nshimba ilii yayihowa ndiri, su shilii shashihowa shigalambulwi na shilii shana ukomu.
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed on, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Mlungu mweni katutandiriti shitwatira ashi, nayomberi katupanana Rohu gwakuwi kaweri ulanguziwu kwa goseri gakatutuliriti.
Now he that has worked us for the selfsame thing is God, who also has given to us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Su, mashaka goseri tugangamala. Tuvimana handa kulikala munshimba ayi, twakutali mnumba yatwenga na Mtuwa.
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 Toziya tulikala ndiri kwa kuwona, kumbiti tulikala kwa njimiru.
(For we walk by faith, not by sight: )
8 Twenga tugangamala na metufiri tulikali kutali na nshimba azi na tulikali pamuhera na Mtuwa.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Kumbiti shitwatila shikulu nentu, tufira kumfiriziya Mtuwa patulikala mnumba ya pasipanu ama mnumba ya kumpindi kwa Mlungu.
Why we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 Toziya twenga twoseri hatugoloki kulongolu kwa Kristu na yomberi hakatutozi. Kila muntu hakanki shilii shakafiriziwitwi kwanka kwa galii gakatenditi pasipanu, gaweri gaherepa ama madoda.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Toziya tuvimana nentu ntambu ya kumtira Mtuwa, su tujera kuwanika wantu wamonga. Mlungu katumana hweri na naneni nulitumbira mwenga mmana hweri myoyu yatwenga.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest to God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
12 Tufira ndiri kayi kulijuma twaweni kulongolu kwa mwenga. Kumbiti tuwapanana toziya ziherepa zyetu zya kulitumbira, su mwezi kawawankula walii yawalitumbira wantu yawawoneka kuliku ntambu yawawera mumoyu mwawu.
For we commend not ourselves again to you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that you may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13 Payiwera tuwoneka kuwera twanalukwali, twanalukwali kwajili ya Mlungu na mahala getu gaherepa, ayi ndo kwa mota yamwenga.
For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
14 Twenga tulonguziwa na ufiru wa Kristu, vinu tuwera tuvimana handa muntu yumu hera kahowiti kwajili ya wantu woseri, su twawoseri tuhowa pamuhera na yomberi.
For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 Kahowiti kwajili ya woseri, su yawalikala walikali ndiri kwa toziya yawu weni, kumbiti kwajili yakuwi yomberi yakahowiti na kazyukisiyitwi kwajili yawu.
And that he died for all, that they which live should not from now on live to themselves, but to him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Su, kwanjira vinu, twenga tumwalanga ndiri muntu yoseri shiuntu, ata handa tumwalangiti Kristu shiuntu, kumbiti vinu hapeni tutenda hangu kayi.
Why from now on know we no man after the flesh: yes, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now from now on know we him no more.
17 Muntu yoseri pakalikolerana pamuhera na Kristu, muntu ayu kawera shiumbi sha syayi, ga makashu gapita, gawera ga syayi.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 Goseri aga galawa kwa Mlungu, yakatugalambula twenga kulawa muungondu na kututenda tuweri waganja wakuwi kupitira Kristu na katupananiti lihengu kukolaniziya mawoku.
And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 Mlungu kaweriti mngati mwa Kristu, kawatenda wantu waweri waganja wakuwi kupitira Kristu. Yomberi kawawalangiriti ndiri vidoda vyawu na yomberi katupananiti ujumbi wa kukolaniziya mawoku.
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Su twenga tutakula ntambu yakatakula Kristu yatutakula nayomberi Mlungu katutumiya twenga kuwaluwani. Tuwaluwani mwenga kwa ajili ya Kristu, mkolaniziwi mawoku na Mlungu.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be you reconciled to God.
21 Kristu kaweriti ndiri na vidoda, kumbiti Mlungu kamtenda kapapi vidoda vyetu, su kwa kulikolerana pamuhera nayomberi, twenga tuweri wantu waheri wa Mlungu.
For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
