| ای قوم اسرائیل، ای کسانی که از نسل یهودا هستید، گوش کنید: شما به نام خداوند قسم می‌خورید و ادعا می‌کنید که خدای اسرائیل را می‌پرستید، اما این کار را از روی صداقت و راستی انجام نمی‌دهید. | 1 |
“Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah. You swear by the LORD’s name, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness—
| با وجود این، افتخار می‌کنید که در شهر مقدّس زندگی می‌کنید و بر خدای اسرائیل که نامش خداوند لشکرهای آسمان است توکل دارید. | 2 |
for they call themselves citizens of the holy city, and rely on the God of Israel; the LORD of Armies is his name.
| خداوند می‌گوید: «آنچه را که می‌بایست رخ دهد، از مدتها پیش به شما اطلاع دادم؛ سپس به‌ناگاه آنها را به عمل آوردم. | 3 |
I have declared the former things from of old. Yes, they went out of my mouth, and I revealed them. I did them suddenly, and they happened.
| می‌دانستم که دلهایتان همچون سنگ و سرهایتان مانند آهن سخت است. | 4 |
Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow bronze;
| این بود که آنچه می‌خواستم برای شما انجام دهم از مدتها پیش به شما خبر دادم تا نگویید که بتهایتان آنها را بجا آورده‌اند. | 5 |
therefore I have declared it to you from of old; before it came to pass I showed it to you; lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them. My engraved image and my molten image has commanded them.’
| «پیشگویی‌های مرا شنیده‌اید و وقوع آنها را دیده‌اید، اما نمی‌خواهید اعتراف کنید که پیشگویی‌های من درست بوده است. اکنون چیزهای تازه‌ای می‌گویم که تا به حال از وجود آنها بی‌اطلاع بوده‌اید. | 6 |
You have heard it. Now see all this. And you, won’t you declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.
| و چیزهایی را به وجود می‌آورم که پیش از این نبوده است و دربارهٔ آنها چیزی نشنیده‌اید، تا دیگر نگویید:”این چیزها را می‌دانستیم!“ | 7 |
They are created now, and not from of old. Before today, you didn’t hear them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
| «بله، چیزهای کاملاً تازه به شما می‌گویم، چیزهایی که هرگز نشنیده‌اید، چون می‌دانم اشخاص خیانتکاری هستید و از طفولیت همیشه یاغی بوده‌اید. | 8 |
Yes, you didn’t hear. Yes, you didn’t know. Yes, from of old your ear was not opened, for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.
| با وجود این، به خاطر حرمت نامم، خشم خود را فرو برده، شما را از بین نخواهم برد. | 9 |
For my name’s sake, I will defer my anger, and for my praise, I hold it back for you so that I don’t cut you off.
| شما را تصفیۀ کردم، اما نه مانند نقره؛ شما را در کورۀ مصیبت تصفیه کردم. | 10 |
Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver. I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
| بله، به خاطر خودم شما را از بین نخواهم برد مبادا اقوام بت‌پرست بگویند که بتهایشان مرا مغلوب کردند. من به بتهای آنها اجازه نمی‌دهم در جلال من شریک شوند. | 11 |
For my own sake, for my own sake, I will do it; for how would my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.
| «ای اسرائیل، ای قوم برگزیدهٔ من، گوش کنید! تنها من خدا هستم. من اول و آخر هستم. | 12 |
“Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel my called: I am he. I am the first. I am also the last.
| دستهای من بود که زمین را بنیاد نهاد و آسمانها را گسترانید. آنها گوش به فرمان من هستند. | 13 |
Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.
| «همهٔ شما بیایید و بشنوید. هیچ‌کدام از خدایان شما قادر نیست پیشگویی کند که مردی را که من برگزیده‌ام حکومت بابِل را سرنگون خواهد کرد و آنچه اراده کرده‌ام بجا خواهد آورد. | 14 |
“Assemble yourselves, all of you, and hear! Who amongst them has declared these things? He whom the LORD loves will do what he likes to Babylon, and his arm will be against the Chaldeans.
| اما من این را پیشگویی می‌کنم. بله، من کوروش را خوانده‌ام و به او این مأموریت را داده‌ام و او را کامیاب خواهم ساخت. | 15 |
I, even I, have spoken. Yes, I have called him. I have brought him and he shall make his way prosperous.
| «به من نزدیک شوید و گوش دهید. من همیشه آشکارا گفته‌ام که در آینده چه رخ خواهد داد تا شما بتوانید آن را بفهمید.» (اکنون خداوند یهوه مرا با روح خود نزد شما فرستاده است.) | 16 |
“Come near to me and hear this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it happened, I was there.” Now the Lord GOD has sent me with his Spirit.
| خداوند که نجا‌ت‌دهندۀ قوم اسرائیل و خدای قدوس ایشان است چنین می‌گوید: «ای اسرائیل، من یهوه، خدای تو هستم، که آنچه برای تو نیکوست، آن را به تو تعلیم می‌دهم و تو را به راههایی که باید بروی هدایت می‌کنم. | 17 |
The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.
| «ای کاش به اوامر من گوش می‌دادید، آنگاه برکات مانند نهر برای شما جاری می‌شد و پیروزی مانند امواج دریا به شما می‌رسید. | 18 |
Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
| نسل شما مانند شنهای ساحل دریا بی‌شمار می‌شدند و من نمی‌گذاشتم ایشان هلاک شوند.» | 19 |
Your offspring also would have been as the sand and the descendants of your body like its grains. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.”
| ای قوم اسرائیل، از بابِل بیرون بیایید! از اسارت آزاد شوید! با صدای بلند سرود بخوانید و این پیام را به گوش تمام مردم جهان برسانید: «خداوند قوم اسرائیل را که خدمتگزاران او هستند، آزاد ساخته است!» | 20 |
Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With the sound of joyful shouting announce this, tell it even to the end of the earth; say, “The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”
| هنگامی که خداوند قوم خود را از بیابان خشک عبور داد ایشان تشنگی نکشیدند، زیرا او صخره را شکافت و از آن، آب جاری ساخت تا ایشان بنوشند. | 21 |
They didn’t thirst when he led them through the deserts. He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them. He also split the rock and the waters gushed out.
| خداوند می‌فرماید: «شریران از سلامتی برخوردار نخواهند شد.» | 22 |
“There is no peace”, says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
