| کاهنان که از نسل هارون بودند در دو گروه به نامهای العازار و ایتامار (پسران هارون) خدمت می‌کردند. ناداب و ابیهو هم پسران هارون بودند، ولی قبل از پدر خود مردند و پسری نداشتند. پس فقط العازار و ایتامار باقی ماندند تا خدمت کاهنی را ادامه بدهند. | 1 |
These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
| داوود با نظر صادوق (نمایندهٔ طایفهٔ العازار) و اخیملک (نمایندهٔ طایفهٔ ایتامار)، نسل هارون را برحسب وظایف ایشان به چند گروه تقسیم کرد. | 3 |
David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
| نسل العازار شانزده گروه بودند و نسل ایتامار هشت گروه، زیرا تعداد مردان رهبر در نسل العازار بیشتر بود. | 4 |
There were more chief men found among the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; so they were divided like this: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen heads according to their ancestral houses, and eight according to their ancestral houses among the sons of Ithamar.
| هم در نسل العازار و هم در نسل ایتامار مقامات بلند پایهٔ روحانی بودند؛ بنابراین برای اینکه تبعیض پیش نیاید، قرار شد به قید قرعه وظایف هر گروه تعیین شود. | 5 |
And thus were they divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were officiers of the sanctuary, and officiers of God, both of the descendants of Eleazar, and of the descendants of Ithamar.
| نسل العازار و ایتامار به نوبه قرعه کشیدند. سپس شمعیای لاوی، پسر نتن‌ئیل، که کاتب بود در حضور پادشاه، صادوق کاهن، اخیملک پسر اَبیّاتار، و سران کاهنان و لاویان اسامی و وظایف ایشان را نوشت. | 6 |
And Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, and the officiers, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the ancestral houses of the priests and of the Levites; one fathers' house being taken for Eleazar and one being taken for Ithamar.
| بیست و چهار گروه به حکم قرعه به ترتیب زیر تعیین شدند: ۱ یهویاریب؛ ۲ یدعیا؛ ۳ حاریم؛ ۴ سعوریم؛ ۵ ملکیه؛ ۶ میامین؛ ۷ هقوص؛ ۸ ابیا؛ ۹ یشوع؛ ۱۰ شکنیا؛ ۱۱ الیاشیب؛ ۱۲ یاقیم؛ ۱۳ حفه؛ ۱۴ یشب‌آب؛ ۱۵ بلجه؛ ۱۶ امیر؛ ۱۷ حیزیر؛ ۱۸ هفصیص؛ ۱۹ فتحیا؛ ۲۰ یحزقی‌ئیل؛ ۲۱ یاکین؛ ۲۲ جامول؛ ۲۳ دلایا؛ ۲۴ معزیا. | 7 |
Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
| 10 |
the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
| 11 |
the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
| 12 |
the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
| 13 |
the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshbaal,
| 14 |
the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
| 15 |
the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
| 16 |
the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
| 17 |
the twenty-first to Jakin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
| 18 |
the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
| هر یک از این گروه‌ها وظایف خانهٔ خداوند را که در ابتدا خداوند به‌وسیلۀ جد آنها هارون تعیین فرموده بود، انجام می‌دادند. | 19 |
This was their ordering in their service, to come into the house of the LORD according to the ordinance given to them by Aaron their father, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
| از بقیهٔ نسل لاوی اینها رئیس خاندان بودند: از نسل عمرام، شبوئیل؛ از نسل شبوئیل، یحدیا؛ | 20 |
Of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
| از نسل رحبیا، یشیا؛ | 21 |
Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
| از نسل یصهار، شلوموت؛ از نسل شلوموت، یحت. | 22 |
Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
| پسران حبرون عبارت بودند از: یریا، امریا، یحزی‌ئیل و یقمعام. | 23 |
The sons of Hebron: Jeriah, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
| از نسل عزی‌ئیل، میکا؛ از نسل میکا، شامیر؛ از نسل یشیا (برادر میکا)، زکریا. | 24 |
The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.

The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
| از نسل مراری، محلی و موشی و یعزیا؛ از نسل یعزیا، بنو و شوهم و زکور و عبری؛ | 26 |
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; of his sons: Jaaziah his son.

The sons of Merari by Jaaziah his son: Shoham, and Zakkur, and Ibri.
| از نسل محلی، العازار (که پسری نداشت) | 28 |
Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
| و قیس؛ از نسل قیس، یرحم‌ئیل؛ | 29 |
Of Kish; the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
| از نسل موشی، محلی و عادر و یریموت. این افراد از خاندانهای لاوی بودند. | 30 |
The sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their fathers' houses.
| وظایف آنها هم مثل فرزندان هارون بدون در نظر گرفتن سن و مقامشان به قید قرعه تعیین گردید. این عمل در حضور داوود پادشاه، صادوق، اخیملک، و رهبران کاهنان و لاویان انجام شد. | 31 |
These likewise cast lots even as their kinsmen the descendants of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of the ancestral houses of the priests and of the Levites; the ancestral houses of the chief even as those of his younger brother.
