صَفَنیا 1

۱ 1 پادشاه یهودا، بر صفنیا ابن کوشی ابن جدلیاابن امریا ابن حزقیا نازل شد.

[the] word of Yahweh - which it came to Zephaniah [the] son of Cushi [the] son of Gedaliah [the] son of Amariah [the] son of Hezekiah in [the] days of Josiah [the] son of Amon [the] king of Judah.

۲ 2 خداوند می‌گوید که همه‌چیزها را از روی زمین بالکل هلاک خواهم ساخت.

Utterly I will bring to an end everything from on [the] surface of the ground [the] utterance of Yahweh.

۳ 3 انسان و بهایم را هلاک می‌سازم. مرغان هوا و ماهیان دریا وسنگهای مصادم را با شریران هلاک می‌سازم. وانسان را از روی زمین منقطع می‌نمایم. قول خداوند این است.

I will bring to an end human being and animal I will bring to an end [the] bird[s] of the heavens and [the] fish of the sea and the stumbling-blocks with the wicked [people] and I will cut off humankind from on [the] surface of the ground [the] utterance of Yahweh.

۴ 4 و دست خود را بر یهودا و برجمیع سکنه اورشلیم دراز می‌نمایم. و بقیه بعل واسمهای موبدان و کاهنان را از این مکان منقطع می‌سازم.

And I will stretch out hand my on Judah and on all [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and I will cut off from the place this [the] remnant of Baal [the] name of the pagan priests with the priests.

۵ 5 و آنانی را که لشکر آسمان را بر بامهامی پرستند، و آن پرستندگان را که به یهوه قسم می‌خورند و آنانی را که به ملکوم سوگندمی خورند،

And those [who] bow down on the roofs to [the] host of the heavens and those [who] bow down those [who] swear an oath to Yahweh and those [who] swear an oath by Milcom.

۶ 6 و آنانی را که از پیروی یهوه مرتدشده‌اند، و آنانی را که خداوند را نمی طلبند و از اومسالت نمی نمایند.

And those [who] have turned back from after Yahweh and [those] who not they have sought Yahweh and not they have sought him.

۷ 7 به حضور خداوند یهوه خاموش باش، زیراکه روز خداوند نزدیک است، چونکه خداوندقربانی‌ای مهیا کرده است و دعوت‌شدگان خود راتقدیس نموده است.

Hush! from before [the] Lord Yahweh for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh for he has prepared Yahweh a sacrifice he has consecrated invited [ones] his.

۸ 8 و در روز قربانی خداوندواقع خواهد شد که من بر سروران و پسران پادشاه و همه آنانی که لباس بیگانه می‌پوشند عقوبت خواهم رسانید.

And it will be on [the] day of [the] sacrifice of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on the princes and on [the] sons of the king and on all those [who] are clothed clothing foreign.

۹ 9 و در آن روز بر همه آنانی که بر آستانه می‌جهند عقوبت خواهم رسانید و بر آنانی که خانه خداوند خود را از ظلم و فریب پرمی سازند.

And I will visit [judgment] on every [one who] leaps over the threshold on the day that those [who] fill [the] house of lord their violence and deceit.

۱۰ 10 و خداوند می‌گوید که در آن روزصدای نعره‌ای از دروازه ماهی و ولوله‌ای از محله دوم و شکستگی عظیمی از تلها مسموع خواهدشد.

And it will be on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] sound of a cry of distress from [the] gate of the fish and wailing from the second district and a crashing great from the hills.

۱۱ 11 ‌ای ساکنان مکتیش ولوله نمایید زیرا که تمامی قوم کنعان تلف شده و همه آنانی که نقره رابرمی دارند منقطع گردیده‌اند.

Wail O inhabitants of the Mortar for it will be destroyed all [the] people of Canaan they will be cut off all [the] weighers of silver.

۱۲ 12 و در آنوقت اورشلیم را به چراغها تفتیش خواهم نمود و برآنانی که بر دردهای خود نشسته‌اند و در دلهای خود می‌گویند خداوند نه نیکویی می‌کند و نه بدی، عقوبت خواهم رسانید.

And it will be at the time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps and I will visit [judgment] on the people who are thickening on lees their who are saying in heart their not he will do good Yahweh and not he will do harm.

۱۳ 13 بنابراین، دولت ایشان تاراج و خانه های ایشان خراب خواهدشد؛ و خانه‌ها بنا خواهند نمود، اما در آنها ساکن نخواهند شد و تاکستانها غرس خواهند کرد، اماشراب آنها را نخواهند نوشید.

And it will become wealth their plunder and houses their a desolation and they will build houses and not they will dwell [in them] and they will plant vineyards and not they will drink wine their.

۱۴ 14 روز عظیم خداوند نزدیک است، نزدیک است و بزودی هرچه تمام تر می‌رسد. آواز روزخداوند مسموع است و مرد زورآور در آن به تلخی فریاد برخواهد آورد.

[is] near [the] day of Yahweh great near and hurrying exceedingly [the] sound of [the] day of Yahweh bitter [is] shouting out there a warrior.

۱۵ 15 آن روز، روزغضب است، روز تنگی و اضطراب، روز خرابی وویرانی، روز تاریکی و ظلمت، روز ابرها و ظلمت غلیظ،

[will be] a day of Fury the day that a day of trouble and distress a day of devastation and desolation a day of darkness and gloom a day of cloud and thick darkness.

۱۶ 16 روز کرنا و هنگامه جنگ به ضدشهرهای حصاردار و به ضد برجهای بلند.

A day of trumpet and battle-cry on the cities fortified and on the corners high.

۱۷ 17 و مردمان را چنان به تنگ می‌آورم که کورانه راه خواهند رفت زیرا که به خداوند گناه ورزیده‌اند. پس خون ایشان مثل غبار و گوشت ایشان مانندسرگین ریخته خواهد شد.

And I will cause distress to humankind and they will walk like blind [people] for to Yahweh they have sinned and it will be poured out blood their like dust and bowel[s] their like dung.

۱۸ 18 در روز غضب خداوند نه نقره و نه طلای ایشان ایشان را تواندرهانید و تمامی جهان از آتش غیرت او سوخته خواهدشد، زیرا که بر تمامی ساکنان جهان هلاکتی هولناک وارد خواهد آورد.

Neither silver their nor gold their not it will be able to deliver them on [the] day of [the] fury of Yahweh and in [the] fire of jealousy his it will be consumed all the earth for complete destruction surely a terrible [thing] he will make with all [the] inhabitants of the earth.
