مکاشفهٔ یوحنا 2
| «به فرشته کلیسای در افسس بنویس که این را می‌گوید او که هفت ستاره را بدست راست خود دارد و در میان هفت چراغدان طلامی خرامد. | ۱ 1 |
‘To the angel of the church in Ephesus write These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, and walks among the seven golden lamps:
| می‌دانم اعمال تو را و مشقت و صبرتو را و اینکه متحمل اشرار نمی توانی شد و آنانی را که خود را رسولان می‌خوانند و نیستندآزمودی و ایشان را دروغگو یافتی؛ | ۲ 2 |
I know your life, your toil and endurance, and I know that you cannot tolerate evildoers. I know, too, how you tested those who declare that they are apostles, though they are not, and how you proved them false.
| و صبرداری و بخاطر اسم من تحمل کردی و خسته نگشتی. | ۳ 3 |
You possess endurance, and have borne much for my name, and have never grown weary.
| «لکن بحثی بر تو دارم که محبت نخستین خود را ترک کرده‌ای. | ۴ 4 |
But this I have against you – You have abandoned your first love.
| پس بخاطر آر که از کجاافتاده‌ای و توبه کن و اعمال نخست را بعمل آوروالا بزودی نزد تو می‌آیم و چراغدانت را از مکانش نقل می‌کنم اگر توبه نکنی. | ۵ 5 |
Therefore remember from what you have fallen, and repent, and live the life that you lived before; or else, I will come and remove your Lamp from its place, unless you repent.
| لکن این راداری که اعمال نقولاویان را دشمن داری، چنانکه من نیز از آنها نفرت دارم. | ۶ 6 |
But this is in your favour – You hate the life lived by the Nikolaitans, and I also hate it.
| «آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساهاچه می‌گوید: هر‌که غالب آید، به او این را خواهم بخشید که از درخت حیاتی که در وسط فردوس خداست بخورد. | ۷ 7 |
Anyone with ears should hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To him who conquers – to him I will give the right to eat the fruit of the Tree of life, which stands in the Paradise of God.
| «و به فرشته کلیسای در اسمیرنا بنویس که این را می‌گوید آن اول و آخر که مرده شد و زنده گشت. | ۸ 8 |
‘To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died, but is restored to life:
| اعمال و تنگی و مفلسی تو را می‌دانم، لکن دولتمند هستی و کفر آنانی را که خود رایهود می‌گویند و نیستند بلکه از کنیسه شیطانند. | ۹ 9 |
I know your persecution and your poverty – yet you are rich! I know, too, the slander that comes from those who declare that they are God’s people, though they are not, but are a congregation of Satan.
| از آن زحماتی که خواهی کشید مترس. اینک ابلیس بعضی از شما را در زندان خواهد انداخت تا تجربه کرده شوید و مدت ده روز زحمت خواهید کشید. لکن تا به مرگ امین باش تا تاج حیات را به تو دهم. | ۱۰ 10 |
Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tempted, and may undergo persecution for ten days. Be faithful even to death, and I will give you the Crown of life.
| آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه می‌گوید: هر‌که غالب آید ازموت ثانی ضرر نخواهد یافت. | ۱۱ 11 |
Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Those who conquer will suffer no hurt from the Second Death.
| «و به فرشته کلیسای در پرغامس بنویس این را می‌گوید او که شمشیر دودمه تیز را دارد. | ۱۲ 12 |
‘To the angel of the church in Pergamus write: These are the words of him who holds the sharp two-edged sword:
| اعمال و مسکن تو را می‌دانم که تخت شیطان در آنجاست و اسم مرا محکم داری و ایمان مراانکار ننمودی، نه هم در ایامی که انطیپاس شهیدامین من در میان شما در جایی که شیطان ساکن است کشته شد. | ۱۳ 13 |
I know where you live, where the throne of Satan stands. And yet you hold to my name, and you did not disown my faith even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death among you where Satan dwells.
| لکن بحث کمی بر تو دارم که در آنجا اشخاصی را داری که متمسکند به تعلیم بلعام که بالاق را آموخت که در راه بنی‌اسرائیل سنگی مصادم بیندازد تا قربانی های بتها رابخورند و زنا کنند. | ۱۴ 14 |
Yet I have a few things against you – You have among you those who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put temptations in the way of the Israelites, so that they should eat idol-offerings and commit licentious acts.
| و همچنین کسانی را داری که تعلیم نقولاویان را پذیرفته‌اند. | ۱۵ 15 |
Again you have among you those who hold in the same way to the teaching of the Nikolaitans.
| پس توبه کن والا بزودی نزد تو می‌آیم و به شمشیر زبان خود باایشان جنگ خواهم کرد. | ۱۶ 16 |
Therefore repent, or else, I will come quickly and contend with such people with words that will cut like a sword.
| آنکه گوش دارد، بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه می‌گوید: و آنکه غالب آید، از من مخفی به وی خواهم داد وسنگی سفید به او خواهم بخشید که بر آن سنگ اسمی جدید مرقوم است که احدی آن رانمی داند جز آنکه آن را یافته باشد. | ۱۷ 17 |
Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To those who conquer – to them I will give a share of the mystic manna, and I will give them a white stone; and on the stone will be inscribed a new name, which no one knows except the person who receives it.
| «و به فرشته کلیسای در طیاتیرا بنویس این را می‌گوید پسر خدا که چشمان او چون شعله آتش و پایهای او چون برنج صیقلی است. | ۱۸ 18 |
‘To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like flaming fire, and whose feet are like brass:
| اعمال و محبت و خدمت و ایمان و صبر تو رامی دانم و اینکه اعمال آخر تو بیشتر از اول است. | ۱۹ 19 |
I know your life, your love, faith, service, and endurance; and I know that your life of late has been better than it was at first.
| لکن بحثی بر تو دارم که آن زن ایزابل نامی راراه می‌دهی که خود را نبیه می‌گوید و بندگان مراتعلیم داده، اغوا می‌کند که مرتکب زنا و خوردن قربانی های بتها بشوند. | ۲۰ 20 |
Yet I have this against you – You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who declares that she is a prophet, and misleads my servants by her teaching, until they commit licentious acts and eat idol-offerings.
| و به او مهلت دادم تاتوبه کند، اما نمی خواهد از زنای خود توبه کند. | ۲۱ 21 |
I gave her time to repent, but she is determined not to turn from her licentiousness.
| اینک او را بر بستری می‌اندازم و آنانی را که بااو زنا می‌کنند، به مصیبتی سخت مبتلا می‌گردانم اگر از اعمال خود توبه نکنند، | ۲۲ 22 |
Therefore I am laying her on a bed of sickness, and bringing great suffering on those who are unfaithful with her, unless they repent and turn from a life like hers.
| و اولادش را به قتل خواهم رسانید. آنگاه همه کلیساها خواهنددانست که منم امتحان کننده جگرها و قلوب و هریکی از شما را برحسب اعمالش خواهم داد. | ۲۳ 23 |
I will also put her children to death; and all the churches will learn that I am he who looks into people’s hearts and souls; and I will give to each one of you what their life deserves.
| لکن باقی ماندگان شما را که در طیاتیرا هستیدو این تعلیم را نپذیرفته‌اید و عمقهای شیطان راچنانکه می‌گویند نفهمیده‌اید، بار دیگری بر شمانمی گذارم، | ۲۴ 24 |
But I say to the rest of you at Thyatira – all who do not accept such teaching, whose who did not learn the secrets of Satan, as people call them – I am not laying on you any further burden;
| جز آنکه به آنچه دارید تا هنگام آمدن من تمسک جویید. | ۲۵ 25 |
only hold fast to what you have received, until I come.
| و هر‌که غالب آید واعمال مرا تا انجام نگاه دارد، او را بر امت هاقدرت خواهم بخشید | ۲۶ 26 |
To those who conquer and are careful to live my life to the end – to them I will give authority over the nations,
| تا ایشان را به عصای آهنین حکمرانی کند و مثل کوزه های کوزه‌گرخرد خواهند شد، چنانکه من نیز از پدر خودیافته‌ام. | ۲۷ 27 |
and they will rule them with an iron rod, as when earthen vessels are broken in pieces (as I myself have received from my Father)
| و به او ستاره صبح را خواهم بخشید. | ۲۸ 28 |
and I will give them the morning star.
| آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه می‌گوید. | ۲۹ 29 |
Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
