مکاشفهٔ یوحنا 10

۱ 1 و دیدم فرشته زورآور دیگری را که ازآسمان نازل می‌شود که ابری دربر دارد، و قوس قزحی بر سرش و چهره‌اش مثل آفتاب وپایهایش مثل ستونهای آتش.

Then I saw another mighty angel, descending from heaven. His robe was a cloud; over his head was the rainbow; his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire;

۲ 2 و در دست خودکتابچه‌ای گشوده دارد و پای راست خود را بردریا و پای چپ خود را بر زمین نهاد؛

in his hand he held a little book open. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land;

۳ 3 و به آوازبلند، چون غرش شیر صدا کرد؛ و چون صدا کرد، هفت رعد به صداهای خود سخن‌گفتند.

and he cried in a loud voice like the roaring of a lion. At his cry the seven peals of thunder spoke, each with its own voice.

۴ 4 و چون هفت رعد سخن‌گفتند، حاضر شدم که بنویسم. آنگاه آوازی از آسمان شنیدم که می‌گوید: «آنچه هفت رعد گفتند مهر کن و آنها را منویس.»

And, when they spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say – “Keep secret what the seven peals of thunder said, and do not write it down.”

۵ 5 و آن فرشته‌ای را که بر دریا و زمین ایستاده دیدم، دست راست خود را به سوی آسمان بلندکرده،

Then the angel, whom I had seen standing on the sea and on the land, raised his right hand to the heavens,

۶ 6 قسم خورد به او که تا ابدالاباد زنده است که آسمان و آنچه را که در آن است و زمین و آنچه را که در آن است و دریا و آنچه را که در آن است آفرید که «بعد از این زمانی نخواهد بود، (aiōn g165)

and swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, and the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, that time should cease to be. (aiōn g165)

۷ 7 بلکه درایام صدای فرشته هفتم، چون کرنا را می‌بایدبنوازد، سر خدا به اتمام خواهد رسید، چنانکه بندگان خود انبیا را بشارت داد.»

Moreover at the time when the seventh angel will speak, when he is ready to blow his blast, then the hidden purposes of God, of which he told the good news to his servants, the prophets, are at once fulfilled.

۸ 8 و آن آوازی که از آسمان شنیده بودم، باردیگر شنیدم که مرا خطاب کرده، می‌گوید: «برو وکتابچه گشاده را از دست فرشته‌ای که بر دریا وزمین ایستاده است بگیر.»

Then came the voice which I had heard from heaven. It spoke to me again, and said – “Go and take the book that is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”

۹ 9 پس به نزد فرشته رفته، به وی گفتم که کتابچه را به من بدهد. او مرا گفت: «بگیر و بخور که اندرونت را تلخ خواهد نمود، لکن در دهانت چون عسل شیرین خواهد بود.»

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said “Take it, and eat it. It will be bitter to your stomach, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”

۱۰ 10 پس کتابچه رااز دست فرشته گرفته، خوردم که در دهانم مثل عسل شیرین بود، ولی چون خورده بودم، درونم تلخ گردید.

I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and, while in my mouth, it was like the sweetest honey; but, when I had eaten it, it was bitter to my stomach.

۱۱ 11 و مرا گفت که «می‌باید تو اقوام وامت‌ها و زبانها و پادشاهان بسیار را نبوت کنی.»

And I was told – “You must prophesy again about men of many peoples, and nations, and languages, and about many kings.”
