۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان برجتیت. مزمور آساف ترنم نمایید برای خدایی که قوت ماست. برای خدای یعقوب آوازشادمانی دهید!

To him that excelleth upon Gittith. A Psalme committed to Asaph. Sing ioyfully vnto God our strength: sing loude vnto the God of Iaakob.

۲ 2 سرود را بلند کنید و دف رابیاورید و بربط دلنواز را با رباب!

Take the song and bring forth the timbrel, the pleasant harpe with the viole.

۳ 3 کرنا را بنوازیددر اول ماه، در ماه تمام و در روز عید ما.

Blowe the trumpet in the newe moone, euen in the time appointed, at our feast day.

۴ 4 زیرا که این فریضه‌ای است در اسرائیل و حکمی ازخدای یعقوب.

For this is a statute for Israel, and a Law of the God of Iaakob.

۵ 5 این را شهادتی در یوسف تعیین فرمود، چون بر زمین مصر بیرون رفت، جایی که لغتی را که نفهمیده بودم شنیدم:

Hee set this in Ioseph for a testimonie, when hee came out of the land of Egypt, where I heard a language, that I vnderstoode not.

۶ 6 «دوش او را از بار سنگین آزاد ساختم ودستهای او از سبد رها شد.

I haue withdrawen his shoulder from the burden, and his handes haue left the pots.

۷ 7 در تنگی استدعانمودی و تو را خلاصی دادم. در ستر رعد، تو رااجابت کردم و تو را نزد آب مریبه امتحان نمودم.

Thou calledst in affliction and I deliuered thee, and answered thee in the secret of the thunder: I prooued thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)

۸ 8 «ای قوم من بشنو و تو را تاکید می‌کنم. وای اسرائیل اگر به من گوش دهی.

Heare, O my people, and I wil protest vnto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken vnto me,

۹ 9 در میان توخدای غیر نباشد و نزد خدای بیگانه سجده منما.

Let there bee no strange god in thee, neither worship thou any strange god.

۱۰ 10 من یهوه خدای تو هستم که تو را از زمین مصربرآوردم. دهان خود را نیکو باز کن و آن را پرخواهم ساخت.

For I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide and I will fill it.

۱۱ 11 لیکن قوم من سخن مرانشنیدند و اسرائیل مرا ابا نمودند.

But my people would not heare my voyce, and Israel would none of me.

۱۲ 12 پس ایشان را به سختی دلشان ترک کردم که به مشورتهای خود سلوک نمایند.

So I gaue them vp vnto the hardnesse of their heart, and they haue walked in their owne cousels.

۱۳ 13 ‌ای کاش که قوم من به من گوش می‌گرفتند و اسرائیل در طریقهای من سالک می‌بودند.

Oh that my people had hearkened vnto me, and Israel had walked in my wayes.

۱۴ 14 آنگاه دشمنان ایشان رابزودی به زیر می‌انداختم و دست خود رابرخصمان ایشان برمی گردانیدم.

I would soone haue humbled their enemies, and turned mine hand against their aduersaries.

۱۵ 15 آنانی که ازخداوند نفرت دارند بدو گردن می‌نهادند. اما زمان ایشان باقی می‌بود تا ابدالاباد.

The haters of the Lord should haue bene subiect vnto him, and their time should haue endured for euer.

۱۶ 16 ایشان را به نیکوترین گندم می‌پرورد؛ و تو را به عسل ازصخره سیر می‌کردم.»

And God would haue fedde them with the fatte of wheat, and with honie out of the rocke would I haue sufficed thee.
