۱ 1 سرود و مزمور بنی قورح خداوند بزرگ است و بی‌نهایت مجید، در شهر خدای ما و در کوه مقدس خویش.

A song or Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praysed, in the Citie of our God, euen vpon his holy Mountaine.

۲ 2 جمیل در بلندی‌اش و شادی تمامی جهان است کوه صهیون، در جوانب شمال، قریه پادشاه عظیم.

Mount Zion, lying Northwarde, is faire in situation: it is the ioy of the whole earth, and the Citie of the great King.

۳ 3 خدا در قصرهای آن به ملجای بلند معروف است.

In the palaces thereof God is knowen for a refuge.

۴ 4 زیرا اینک پادشاهان جمع شدند، و با هم درگذشتند.

For lo, the Kings were gathered, and went together.

۵ 5 ایشان چون دیدندمتعجب گردیدند. و در حیرت افتاده، فرار کردند.

When they sawe it, they marueiled: they were astonied, and suddenly driuen backe.

۶ 6 لرزه بر ایشان در آنجا مستولی گردید و دردشدید مثل زنی که می‌زاید.

Feare came there vpon them, and sorowe, as vpon a woman in trauaile.

۷ 7 تو کشتیهای ترشیش را به باد شرقی شکستی.

As with an East winde thou breakest the shippes of Tarshish, so were they destroyed.

۸ 8 چنانکه شنیده بودیم، همچنان دیده‌ایم، در شهر یهوه صبایوت، در شهر خدای ما؛ خدا آن را تا ابدالاباد مستحکم خواهد ساخت، سلاه.

As we haue heard, so haue we seene in the citie of the Lord of hostes, in the Citie of our God: God will stablish it for euer. (Selah)

۹ 9 ‌ای خدا در رحمت توتفکر کرده‌ایم، در اندرون هیکل تو.

We waite for thy louing kindnes, O God, in the middes of thy Temple.

۱۰ 10 ‌ای خداچنانکه نام تو است، همچنان تسبیح تو نیز تااقصای زمین. دست راست تو از عدالت پر است.

O God, according vnto thy Name, so is thy prayse vnto the worlds end: thy right hand is full of righteousnes.

۱۱ 11 کوه صهیون شادی می‌کند و دختران یهودا به وجد می‌آیند، به‌سبب داوریهای تو.

Let mount Zion reioyce, and the daughters of Iudah be glad, because of thy iudgements.

۱۲ 12 صهیون را طواف کنید و گرداگرد او بخرامید و برجهای وی را بشمارید.

Compasse about Zion, and goe round about it, and tell the towres thereof.

۱۳ 13 دل خود را به حصارهایش بنهید و در قصرهایش تامل کنید تا طبقه آینده رااطلاع دهید.

Marke well the wall thereof: beholde her towres, that ye may tell your posteritie.

۱۴ 14 زیرا این خدا، خدای ماست تاابدالاباد و ما را تا به موت هدایت خواهد نمود.

For this God is our God for euer and euer: he shall be our guide vnto the death.
