۱ 1 مزمور داود ای فرزندان خدا، خداوند را توصیف کنید. جلال و قوت را برای خداوندتوصیف نمایید.

A Psalme of David. Give vnto the Lord, ye sonnes of the mightie: giue vnto the Lord glorie and strength.

۲ 2 خداوند را به جلال اسم اوتمجید نمایید. خداوند را در زینت قدوسیت سجده کنید.

Giue vnto the Lord glorie due vnto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.

۳ 3 آواز خداوند فوق آبها است. خدای جلال رعد می‌دهد. خداوند بالای آبهای بسیار است.

The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.

۴ 4 آواز خداوند با قوت است. آوازخداوند با جلال است.

The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.

۵ 5 آواز خداوند سروهای آزاد را می‌شکند. خداوند سروهای آزاد لبنان رامی شکند.

The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

۶ 6 آنها را مثل گوساله می‌جهاند. لبنان وسریون را مثل بچه گاو وحشی.

He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.

۷ 7 آواز خداوندزبانه های آتش را می‌شکافد.

The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.

۸ 8 آواز خداوندصحرا را متزلزل می‌سازد. خداوند صحرای قادش را متزلزل می‌سازد.

The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.

۹ 9 آواز خداوند غزالهارا به درد زه می‌اندازد، و جنگل را بی‌برگ می‌گرداند. و در هیکل او جمیع جلال را ذکرمی کنند.

The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory.

۱۰ 10 خداوند بر طوفان جلوس نموده. خداوند نشسته است پادشاه تا ابدالاباد.

The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

۱۱ 11 خداوند قوم خود را قوت خواهد بخشید. خداوند قوم خود را به سلامتی مبارک خواهدنمود.

The Lord shall giue strength vnto his people: the Lord shall blesse his people with peace.
