مزامیر 28

۱ 1 مزمور داود ای خداوند، نزد تو فریاد برمی آورم. ای صخره من، از من خاموش مباش. مبادا اگر از من خاموش شوی، مثل آنانی باشم که به حفره فرو می‌روند.

To Dauid. Lord, Y schal crye to thee; my God, be thou not stille fro me, be thou not stille `ony tyme fro me; and Y schal be maad lijk to hem, that goen doun in to the lake.

۲ 2 آواز تضرع مرا بشنو چون نزد تو استغاثه می‌کنم و دست خود را به محراب قدس تو برمی افرازم.

Lord, here thou the vois of my bisechyng, while Y preie to thee; whyle Y reise myn hondis to thin hooli temple.

۳ 3 مرا با شریران و بدکاران مکش که با همسایگان خود سخن صلح‌آمیزمی گویند و آزار در دل ایشان است.

Bitake thou not me togidere with synneris; and leese thou not me with hem that worchen wickidnesse. Whyche speken pees with her neiybore; but yuels ben in her hertis.

۴ 4 آنها را به حسب کردار ایشان و موافق اعمال زشت ایشان بده آنها را مطابق عمل دست ایشان بده و رفتارایشان را به خود ایشان رد نما.

Yyue thou to hem vpe the werkis of hem; and vpe the wickidnesse of her fyndyngis. Yyue thou to hem vpe the werkis of her hondis; yelde thou her yeldyng to hem.

۵ 5 چونکه در اعمال خداوند و صنعت دست وی تفکر نمی کنند. ایشان را منهدم خواهی ساخت و بنا نخواهی نمود.

For thei vndurstoden not the werkis of the Lord, and bi the werkis of hise hondis thou schalt destrie hem; and thou schalt not bilde hem.

۶ 6 خداوند متبارک باد زیرا که آواز تضرع مراشنیده است.

Blissid be the Lord; for he herde the vois of my bisechyng.

۷ 7 خداوند قوت من و سپر من است. دلم بر او توکل داشت و مدد یافته‌ام. پس دل من به وجد آمده است و به‌سرود خود او را حمدخواهم گفت.

The Lord is myn helpere and my defendere; and myn herte hopide in hym, and Y am helpid. And my fleisch flouride ayen; and of my wille Y schal knowleche to hym.

۸ 8 خداوند قوت ایشان است و برای مسیح خود قلعه نجات.

The Lord is the strengthe of his puple; and he is defendere of the sauyngis of his crist.

۹ 9 قوم خود را نجات ده ومیراث خود را مبارک فرما. ایشان را رعایت کن وبرافراز تا ابدالاباد.

Lord, make thou saaf thi puple, and blesse thou thin eritage; and reule thou hem, and enhaunse thou hem til in to with outen ende.
