مزامیر 24

۱ 1 مزمور داود زمین و پری آن از آن خداوند است. ربع مسکون و ساکنان آن.

A Psalme of David. The earth is the Lordes, and all that therein is: the worlde and they that dwell therein.

۲ 2 زیرا که اواساس آن را بر دریاها نهاد. و آن را بر نهرها ثابت گردانید.

For he hath founded it vpon the seas: and established it vpon the floods.

۳ 3 کیست که به کوه خداوند برآید؟ وکیست که به مکان قدس او ساکن شود؟

Who shall ascende into the mountaine of the Lord? and who shall stand in his holy place?

۴ 4 او که پاک دست و صاف دل باشد، که جان خود را به بطالت ندهد و قسم دروغ نخورد.

Euen he that hath innocent handes, and a pure heart: which hath not lift vp his minde vnto vanitie, nor sworne deceitfully.

۵ 5 او برکت را ازخداوند خواهد یافت. و عدالت را از خدای نجات خود.

He shall receiue a blessing from the Lord, and righteousnesse from the God of his saluation.

۶ 6 این است طبقه طالبان او. طالبان روی تو‌ای (خدای ) یعقوب. سلاه.

This is the generation of them that seeke him, of them that seeke thy face, this is Iaakob. (Selah)

۷ 7 ‌ای دروازه‌ها سرهای خود را برافرازید! ای درهای ابدی برافراشته شوید تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود!

Lift vp your heads ye gates, and be ye lift vp ye euerlasting doores, and the King of glory shall come in.

۸ 8 این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ خداوندقدیر و جبار؟ خداوند که در جنگ جبار است.

Who is this King of glorie? the Lord, strong and mightie, euen the Lord mightie in battell.

۹ 9 ‌ای دروازه‌ها، سرهای خود را برافرازید! ای درهای ابدی برافرازید تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود!

Lift vp your heads, ye gates, and lift vp your selues, ye euerlasting doores, and the King of glorie shall come in.

۱۰ 10 این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ یهوه صبایوت پادشاه جلال اوست. سلاه.

Who is this King of glory? the Lord of hostes, he is the King of glorie. (Selah)
