مزامیر 20

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود خداوند تو را در روز تنگی مستجاب فرماید. نام خدای یعقوب تو را سرافرازنماید.

“To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” May the Lord answer thee on the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;

۲ 2 نصرت برای تو از قدس خود بفرستد وتو را از صهیون تایید نماید.

May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and support thee from Zion;

۳ 3 جمیع هدایای تو رابه یاد آورد و قربانی های سوختنی تو را قبول فرماید. سلاه.

May he remember all thy meat-offerings, and accept in favor thy burnt-sacrifice. (Selah)

۴ 4 موافق دل تو به تو عطا فرماید وهمه مشورتهای تو را به انجام رساند.

May he grant thee according to thy own heart, and fulfill all thy resolves.

۵ 5 به نجات تو خواهیم سرایید و به نام خدای خود، علم خود را خواهیم افراشت. خداوندتمامی مسالت تو را به انجام خواهد رسانید.

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we upraise our banners: may the Lord fulfill all thy petitions.

۶ 6 الان دانسته‌ام که خداوند مسیح خود رامی رهاند. از فلک قدس خود او را اجابت خواهدنمود، به قوت نجات‌بخش دست راست خویش.

Now I know that the Lord saveth his anointed: he will answer him from his holy heavens, with the saving strength of his right hand.

۷ 7 اینان ارابه‌ها را و آنان اسبها را، اما ما نام یهوه خدای خود را ذکر خواهیم نمود.

Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses; but we will invoke the name of the Lord our God.

۸ 8 ایشان خم شده، افتاده‌اند و اما ما برخاسته، ایستاده‌ایم.

They are prostrate and fallen; but we are risen up and stand erect.

۹ 9 ‌ای خداوند نجات بده! پادشاه در روزی که بخوانیم، ما را مستجاب فرماید.

O Lord, save [us]: may the king answer us on the day when we call [on him].
