| مزمور داود ای خداوند تو را می‌خوانم. نزد من بشتاب! و چون تو را بخوانم آوازمرا بشنو! | ۱ 1 |
“For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.” I cry to thee, O LORD! make haste unto me! Give ear to my voice, when I cry unto thee!
| دعای من به حضور تو مثل بخورآراسته شود، و برافراشتن دستهایم، مثل هدیه شام. | ۲ 2 |
Let my prayer come before thee as incense, And the lifting-up of my hands, as the evening sacrifice!
| ای خداوند، بر دهان من نگاهبانی فرما و درلبهایم را نگاه دار. | ۳ 3 |
Set a watch, O LORD! before my mouth; Guard the door of my lips!
| دل مرا به عمل بد مایل مگردان تا مرتکب اعمال زشت با مردان بدکارنشوم. و از چیزهای لذیذ ایشان نخورم. | ۴ 4 |
Let not my heart incline to any evil thing; Let me not practise wickedness with the doers of iniquity, And let me not eat of their delicacies!
| مرد عادل مرا بزند و لطف خواهد بود، و مرا تادیب نماید و روغن برای سر خواهد بود! و سر من آن راابا نخواهد نمود زیرا که در بدیهای ایشان نیزدعای من دایم خواهد بود. | ۵ 5 |
Let the righteous smite me, —it shall be a kindness; Let him reprove me, and it shall be oil for my head; Let him do it again, and my head shall not refuse it; But now I pray against their wickedness!
| چون داوران ایشان از سر صخره‌ها انداخته شوند، آنگاه سخنان مراخواهند شنید زیرا که شیرین است. | ۶ 6 |
When their judges are hurled over the side of the rock, They shall hear how pleasant are my words.
| مثل کسی‌که زمین را فلاحت و شیار بکند، استخوانهای مابر سر قبرها پراکنده می‌شود. (Sheol h7585) | ۷ 7 |
So are our bones scattered at the mouth of the underworld, As when one furroweth and ploweth up the land. (Sheol h7585)
| زیرا که‌ای یهوه خداوند، چشمان من بسوی توست. و بر تو توکل دارم. پس جان مرا تلف منما! | ۸ 8 |
But to thee do my eyes look, O Lord Jehovah! In thee is my trust; Let not my life be poured out!
| مرا از دامی که برای من نهاده‌اند نگاه دار و از کمندهای گناهکاران. | ۹ 9 |
Preserve me from the snares which they have laid for me, And from the nets of evil-doers!
| شریران به دامهای خود بیفتند و من بسلامتی در بگذرم. | ۱۰ 10 |
Let the wicked fall together into their own traps, Whilst I make my escape!
