۱ 1 هللویاه، نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانید! ای بندگان خداوند تسبیح بخوانید!

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise [him], O ye servants of Jehovah,

۲ 2 ‌ای شما که در خانه خداوندمی ایستید، در صحن های خانه خدای ما.

Ye that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

۳ 3 هللویاه، زیرا خداوند نیکو است! نام او رابسرایید زیرا که دلپسند است.

Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

۴ 4 زیرا که خداوندیعقوب را برای خود برگزید، و اسرائیل را به جهت ملک خاص خویش.

For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [And] Israel for his own possession.

۵ 5 زیرا می‌دانم که خداوند بزرگ است و خداوند ما برتر است ازجمیع خدایان.

For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

۶ 6 هر‌آنچه خداوند خواست آن را کرد، درآسمان و در زمین و در دریا و در همه لجه‌ها.

Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

۷ 7 ابرها را از اقصای زمین برمی آورد و برقها رابرای باران می‌سازد و بادها را از مخزنهای خویش بیرون می‌آورد.

Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;

۸ 8 که نخست زادگان مصررا کشت، هم از انسان هم از بهایم.

Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

۹ 9 آیات ومعجزات را در وسط تو‌ای مصر فرستاد، برفرعون و بر جمیع بندگان وی.

Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

۱۰ 10 که امتهای بسیاررا زد و پادشاهان عظیم را کشت.

Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

۱۱ 11 سیحون پادشاه اموریان و عوج پادشاه باشان و جمیع ممالک کنعان را.

Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,

۱۲ 12 و زمین ایشان را به میراث داد، یعنی به میراث قوم خود اسرائیل.

And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.

۱۳ 13 ‌ای خداوند، نام توست تا ابدالاباد؛ و‌ای خداوند، یادگاری توست تا جمیع طبقات.

Thy name, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; Thy memorial [name], O Jehovah, throughout all generations.

۱۴ 14 زیرا خداوند قوم خود را داوری خواهد نمودو بر بندگان خویش شفقت خواهد فرمود.

For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.

۱۵ 15 بتهای امتها طلا و نقره می‌باشند، عمل دستهای انسان.

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands.

۱۶ 16 دهنها دارند و سخن نمی گویند؛ چشمان دارند و نمی بینند؛

They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;

۱۷ 17 گوشهادارند و نمی شنوند بلکه در دهان ایشان هیچ نفس نیست.

They have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths.

۱۸ 18 سازندگان آنها مثل آنها می‌باشند وهرکه بر آنها توکل دارد.

They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

۱۹ 19 ‌ای خاندان اسرائیل، خداوند را متبارک خوانید. ای خاندان هارون، خداوند را متبارک خوانید.

O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:

۲۰ 20 ‌ای خاندان لاوی، خداوند را متبارک خوانید. ای ترسندگان خداوند، خداوند را متبارک خوانید.

O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.

۲۱ 21 خداونداز صهیون متبارک باد، که در اورشلیم ساکن است. هللویاه.

Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
