۱ 1 سرود درجات از داود اینک چه خوش و چه دلپسند است که برادران به یکدلی با هم ساکن شوند.

A song of degrees or Psalme of David. Behold, howe good and howe comely a thing it is, brethren to dwell euen together.

۲ 2 مثل روغن نیکو بر سر است که به ریش فرود می‌آید، یعنی به ریش هارون که به دامن ردایش فرود می‌آید.

It is like to the precious oyntment vpon the head, that runneth downe vpon the beard, euen vnto Aarons beard, which went downe on the border of his garments:

۳ 3 و مثل شبنم حرمون است که بر کوههای صهیون فرود می‌آید. زیرا که درآنجا خداوند برکت خود را فرموده است یعنی حیات را تا ابدالاباد.

And as the dew of Hermon, which falleth vpon the mountaines of Zion: for there the Lord appointed the blessing and life for euer.
