| سرود درجات ای خداوند برای داود به یاد آور، همه مذلتهای او را. | ۱ 1 |
A Song of degrees. LORD, remember David [and] all his afflictions;
| چگونه برای خداوند قسم خورد و برای قادر مطلق یعقوب نذر نمود | ۲ 2 |
How he swore to the LORD, [and] vowed to the mighty [God] of Jacob;
| که به خیمه خانه خود هرگز داخل نخواهم شد، و بر بستر تختخواب خود برنخواهم آمد. | ۳ 3 |
Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
| خواب به چشمان خود نخواهم داد و نه پینکی به مژگان خویش، | ۴ 4 |
I will not give sleep to my eyes, [or] slumber to my eyelids,
| تا مکانی برای خداوندپیدا کنم و مسکنی برای قادر مطلق یعقوب. | ۵ 5 |
Until I find a place for the LORD, a habitation for the mighty [God] of Jacob.
| اینک ذکر آن را در افراته شنیدیم و آن را درصحرای یعاریم یافتیم. | ۶ 6 |
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
| به مسکن های او داخل شویم و نزد قدمگاه وی پرستش نماییم. | ۷ 7 |
We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
| ای خداوند به آرامگاه خود برخیز و بیا، تو و تابوت قوت تو. | ۸ 8 |
Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
| کاهنان تو به عدالت ملبس شوند ومقدسانت ترنم نمایند. | ۹ 9 |
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
| به‌خاطر بنده خودداود، روی مسیح خود را برمگردان. | ۱۰ 10 |
For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thy anointed.
| خداوند برای داود به راستی قسم خورد و از آن برنخواهدگشت که «از ثمره صلب تو بر تخت تو خواهم گذاشت. | ۱۱ 11 |
The LORD hath sworn [in] truth to David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
| اگر پسران تو عهد مرا نگاه دارند وشهادتم را که بدیشان می‌آموزم، پسران ایشان نیزبر کرسی تو تا به ابد خواهند نشست.» | ۱۲ 12 |
If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them; their children also shall sit upon thy throne for ever.
| زیرا که خداوند صهیون را برگزیده است وآن را برای مسکن خویش مرغوب فرموده. | ۱۳ 13 |
For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired [it] for his habitation.
| «این است آرامگاه من تا ابدالاباد. اینجا ساکن خواهم بود زیرا در این رغبت دارم. | ۱۴ 14 |
This [is] my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
| آذوقه آن را هرآینه برکت خواهم داد و فقیرانش را به نان سیر خواهم ساخت، | ۱۵ 15 |
I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
| و کاهنانش را به نجات ملبس خواهم ساخت و مقدسانش هرآینه ترنم خواهند نمود. | ۱۶ 16 |
I will also clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
| در آنجا شاخ داود را خواهم رویانید و چراغی برای مسیح خود آماده خواهم ساخت. | ۱۷ 17 |
There will I make the horn of David to bud, I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
| دشمنان او را به خجالت ملبس خواهم ساخت و تاج او بر وی شکوفه خواهدآورد.» | ۱۸ 18 |
His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
