۱ 1 سرود درجات ای خداوند برای داود به یاد آور، همه مذلتهای او را.

[A Song of Ascents.] LORD, remember David and all his affliction,

۲ 2 چگونه برای خداوند قسم خورد و برای قادر مطلق یعقوب نذر نمود

how he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:

۳ 3 که به خیمه خانه خود هرگز داخل نخواهم شد، و بر بستر تختخواب خود برنخواهم آمد.

"Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;

۴ 4 خواب به چشمان خود نخواهم داد و نه پینکی به مژگان خویش،

I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids;

۵ 5 تا مکانی برای خداوندپیدا کنم و مسکنی برای قادر مطلق یعقوب.

until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."

۶ 6 اینک ذکر آن را در افراته شنیدیم و آن را درصحرای یعاریم یافتیم.

Look, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar:

۷ 7 به مسکن های او داخل شویم و نزد قدمگاه وی پرستش نماییم.

"We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.

۸ 8 ‌ای خداوند به آرامگاه خود برخیز و بیا، تو و تابوت قوت تو.

Arise, LORD, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength.

۹ 9 کاهنان تو به عدالت ملبس شوند ومقدسانت ترنم نمایند.

Let your cohen be clothed with righteousness. Let your faithful ones shout for joy."

۱۰ 10 به‌خاطر بنده خودداود، روی مسیح خود را برمگردان.

For your servant David's sake, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.

۱۱ 11 خداوند برای داود به راستی قسم خورد و از آن برنخواهدگشت که «از ثمره صلب تو بر تخت تو خواهم گذاشت.

The LORD has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: "I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.

۱۲ 12 اگر پسران تو عهد مرا نگاه دارند وشهادتم را که بدیشان می‌آموزم، پسران ایشان نیزبر کرسی تو تا به ابد خواهند نشست.»

If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forevermore."

۱۳ 13 زیرا که خداوند صهیون را برگزیده است وآن را برای مسکن خویش مرغوب فرموده.

For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling.

۱۴ 14 «این است آرامگاه من تا ابدالاباد. اینجا ساکن خواهم بود زیرا در این رغبت دارم.

"This is my resting place forever. Here I will live, for I have desired it.

۱۵ 15 آذوقه آن را هرآینه برکت خواهم داد و فقیرانش را به نان سیر خواهم ساخت،

I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.

۱۶ 16 و کاهنانش را به نجات ملبس خواهم ساخت و مقدسانش هرآینه ترنم خواهند نمود.

Her cohanim I will also clothe with salvation. Her faithful ones will shout aloud for joy.

۱۷ 17 در آنجا شاخ داود را خواهم رویانید و چراغی برای مسیح خود آماده خواهم ساخت.

There I will make the horn of David to bud. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.

۱۸ 18 دشمنان او را به خجالت ملبس خواهم ساخت و تاج او بر وی شکوفه خواهدآورد.»

I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will be resplendent."
