| ا خوشا‌به‌حال کاملان طریق که به شریعت خداوند سالکند. | ۱ 1 |
[ALEPH.] How happy the men of blameless life, who walk in the law of Yahweh.
| خوشا‌به‌حال آنانی که شهادات او را حفظ می‌کنند و به تمامی دل او را می‌طلبند. | ۲ 2 |
How happy they who observe his testimonies, with a whole heart, they seek him.
| کج روی نیز نمی کنندو به طریق های وی سلوک می‌نمایند. | ۳ 3 |
Yea, they have not wrought perversity, In his ways, have they walked.
| تووصایای خود را امر فرموده‌ای تا آنها را تمام نگاه داریم. | ۴ 4 |
Thou, hast commanded thy precepts, that they should be diligently kept.
| کاش که راههای من مستحکم شودتا فرایض تو را حفظ کنم. | ۵ 5 |
Oh would that my ways might be settled! that I might keep thy statutes.
| آنگاه خجل نخواهم شد چون تمام اوامر تو را در مد نظر خود دارم. | ۶ 6 |
Then, shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
| تو را به راستی دل حمد خواهم گفت چون داوریهای عدالت تو را آموخته شوم. | ۷ 7 |
I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I have learned thy righteous regulations.
| فرایض تورا نگاه می‌دارم. مرا بالکلیه ترک منما. | ۸ 8 |
Thy statutes, will I keep, Do not thou forsake me utterly.
| به چه چیز مرد جوان راه خود را پاک می‌سازد؟ به نگاه داشتنش موافق کلام تو. | ۹ 9 |
[BETH.] Wherewithal can a young man keep pure his way? By taking heed, according to thy word.
| به تمامی دل تو را طلبیدم. مگذار که از اوامر توگمراه شوم. | ۱۰ 10 |
With all my heart, have I sought thee, Suffer me not to be led astray from thy commandments.
| کلام تو را در دل خود مخفی داشتم که مبادا به تو گناه ورزم. | ۱۱ 11 |
In my heart, have I treasured what thou hast said, to the end I may not sin against thee.
| ای خداوند تومتبارک هستی فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. | ۱۲ 12 |
Blessed art thou, O Yahweh—Teach me thy statutes.
| به لب های خود بیان کردم تمامی داوری های دهان تو را. | ۱۳ 13 |
With my lips, have I recounted All the regulations of thy mouth.
| در طریق شهادات تو شادمانم. | ۱۴ 14 |
In the way of thy testimonies, have I rejoiced, Like as over all riches.
| چنانکه در هر قسم توانگری، در وصایای توتفکر می‌کنم و به طریق های تو نگران خواهم بود. | ۱۵ 15 |
In thy precepts, will I meditate, that I may discern thy paths.
| از فرایض تو لذت می‌برم، پس کلام تو رافراموش نخواهم کرد. | ۱۶ 16 |
In thy statutes, will I find my dear delight, I will not forget thy word.
| به بنده خود احسان بنما تا زنده شوم و کلام تو را حفظ نمایم. | ۱۷ 17 |
[GIMEL.] Bestow thy bounties upon thy servant—let me live, That I may observe thy word.
| چشمان مرا بگشا تا ازشریعت تو چیزهای عجیب بینم. | ۱۸ 18 |
Unveil thou mine eyes, that I may discern Wondrous things out of thy law.
| من در زمین غریب هستم. اوامر خود را از من مخفی مدار. | ۱۹ 19 |
A sojourner, am, I, in the earth, Do not hide from me, thy commandments.
| جان من شکسته می‌شود از اشتیاق داوریهای تو در هر وقت. | ۲۰ 20 |
My soul is crushed with longing for thy just decisions at all times.
| متکبران ملعون را توبیخ نمودی، که از اوامر تو گمراه می‌شوند. | ۲۱ 21 |
Thou hast rebuked the proud as accursed, who stray from thy commandments.
| ننگ ورسوایی را از من بگردان، زیرا که شهادات تو راحفظ کرده‌ام. | ۲۲ 22 |
Roll from off me, reproach and contempt, For, thy testimonies, have I observed.
| سروران نیز نشسته، به ضد من سخن‌گفتند. لیکن بنده تو در فرایض تو تفکرمی کند. | ۲۳ 23 |
Even rulers have taken their seat, against me, have talked, Thy servant, will still meditate in thy statutes.
| شهادات تو نیز ابتهاج من و مشورت دهندگان من بوده‌اند. | ۲۴ 24 |
Yea, thy testimonies, are my dear delight, My counsellors.
| جان من به خاک چسبیده است. مرا موافق کلام خود زنده ساز. | ۲۵ 25 |
[DALETH.] My soul, cleaveth to the dust, Give me life, according to thy word.
| راههای خود را ذکر کردم و مرا اجابت نمودی. پس فرایض خویش را به من بیاموز. | ۲۶ 26 |
My ways, I recounted, and thou didst answer me, Teach me thy statutes.
| طریق وصایای خود را به من بفهمان و در کارهای عجیب تو تفکر خواهم نمود. | ۲۷ 27 |
The way of thy precepts, cause thou me to understand, and I will indeed meditate in thy wonders.
| جان من از حزن گداخته می‌شود. مرا موافق کلام خود برپا بدار. | ۲۸ 28 |
My soul weepeth itself away, for grief, Confirm thou me, according to thy word.
| راه دروغ را از من دور کن و شریعت خود را به من عنایت فرما. | ۲۹ 29 |
The way of falsehood, take thou from me, and, with thy law, O favour me.
| طریق راستی رااختیار کردم و داوریهای تو را پیش خود گذاشتم. | ۳۰ 30 |
The way of faithfulness, have I chosen, Thy regulations, have I deemed right.
| به شهادات تو چسبیدم. ای خداوند مرا خجل مساز. | ۳۱ 31 |
I have kept close to thy testimonies, O Yahweh! do not put me to shame.
| در طریق اوامر تو دوان خواهم رفت، وقتی که دل مرا وسعت دادی. | ۳۲ 32 |
The way of thy commandments, will I run, for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
| ای خداوند طریق فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. پس آنها را تا به آخر نگاه خواهم داشت. | ۳۳ 33 |
[HE.] Point out to me, O Yahweh, the way of thy statutes, that I may observe it unto the end.
| مرا فهم بده و شریعت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت و آن را به تمامی دل خود حفظ خواهم نمود. | ۳۴ 34 |
Give me understanding, that I may observe thy law, that I may keep it with a whole heart.
| مرا در سبیل اوامر خود سالک گردان زیرا که درآن رغبت دارم. | ۳۵ 35 |
Guide me in the path of thy commandments, for, therein, do I find pleasure.
| دل مرا به شهادات خود مایل گردان و نه به سوی طمع. | ۳۶ 36 |
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not unto unjust gain.
| چشمانم را از دیدن بطالت برگردان و در طریق خود مرا زنده ساز. | ۳۷ 37 |
Turn away mine eyes, from beholding vanity, In thy way, give me life.
| کلام خود را بر بنده خویش استوار کن، که به ترس تو سپرده شده است. | ۳۸ 38 |
Establish, unto thy servant, thy word, which pertaineth to the reverence of thee.
| ننگ مرا که از آن می‌ترسم از من دور کن زیرا که داوریهای تو نیکواست. | ۳۹ 39 |
Cause to pass away my reproach, that I have feared, for, thy regulations, are good.
| هان به وصایای تو اشتیاق دارم. به حسب عدالت خود مرا زنده ساز. | ۴۰ 40 |
Lo! I have longed for thy precepts, In thy righteousness, give me life.
| ای خداوند رحمهای تو به من برسد ونجات تو به حسب کلام تو. | ۴۱ 41 |
[WAW.] And let thy lovingkindness reach me, O Yahweh, thy salvation, according to thy word.
| تا بتوانم ملامت کننده خود را جواب دهم زیرا بر کلام تو توکل دارم. | ۴۲ 42 |
So shall I have something to answer him that reproacheth me, That I have trusted in thy word.
| و کلام راستی را از دهانم بالکل مگیرزیرا که به داوریهای تو امیدوارم | ۴۳ 43 |
And do not snatch away from my mouth the word of truth in any wise, because, for thy regulation, have I waited.
| و شریعت تورا دائم نگاه خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد. | ۴۴ 44 |
That I may keep thy law continually, to times age-abiding and beyond.
| و به آزادی راه خواهم رفت زیرا که وصایای تو را طلبیده‌ام. | ۴۵ 45 |
That I may walk to and fro in a large place, because, thy precepts, have I sought.
| و در شهادات تو به حضور پادشاهان سخن خواهم گفت و خجل نخواهم شد. | ۴۶ 46 |
That I may speak of thy testimonies before kings, and not be ashamed.
| و ازوصایای تو تلذذ خواهم یافت که آنها را دوست می‌دارم. | ۴۷ 47 |
That I may find dear delight in thy commandments, which I have loved.
| و دستهای خود را به اوامر تو که دوست می‌دارم بر خواهم افراشت و در فرایض تو تفکر خواهم نمود. | ۴۸ 48 |
That I may lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and may meditate in thy statutes.
| کلام خود را با بنده خویش به یاد آور که مرا بر آن امیدوار گردانیدی. | ۴۹ 49 |
[ZAYIN.] Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
| این در مصیبتم تسلی من است زیرا قول تو مرا زنده ساخت. | ۵۰ 50 |
This, is my comfort in mine affliction, that, thy word, hath given me life.
| متکبران مرا بسیار استهزا کردند، لیکن ازشریعت تو رو نگردانیدم. | ۵۱ 51 |
Insolent men, have derided me exceedingly, From thy law, have I not swerved.
| ای خداوندداوریهای تو را از قدیم به یاد آوردم و خویشتن راتسلی دادم. | ۵۲ 52 |
I have remembered thy regulations, [which have come down] from age-past times, O Yahweh, and have consoled myself.
| حدت خشم مرا درگرفته است، به‌سبب شریرانی که شریعت تو را ترک کرده‌اند. | ۵۳ 53 |
A raging heat, hath seized me, by reason of the lawless, who forsake thy law.
| فرایض تو سرودهای من گردید، در خانه غربت من. | ۵۴ 54 |
Songs, have thy statutes become to me, in my house of sojourn.
| ای خداوند نام تو را در شب به یادآوردم و شریعت تو را نگاه داشتم. | ۵۵ 55 |
I have remembered, in the night, thy Name, O Yahweh, and have kept thy law.
| این بهره من گردید، زیرا که وصایای تو را نگاه داشتم. | ۵۶ 56 |
This, have I had, because, thy precepts, have I observed.
| خداوند نصیب من است. گفتم که کلام تو رانگاه خواهم داشت. | ۵۷ 57 |
[HETH.] My portion, is Yahweh, I have promised that I would keep thy words.
| رضامندی تو را به تمامی دل خود طلبیدم. به حسب کلام خود بر من رحم فرما. | ۵۸ 58 |
I have sought the smile of thy face with all my heart, Show me favour, according to thy word.
| در راههای خود تفکر کردم و پایهای خود را به شهادات تو مایل ساختم. | ۵۹ 59 |
I have thought upon my ways, and have turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
| شتابیدم ودرنگ نکردم تا اوامر تو را نگاه دارم. | ۶۰ 60 |
I have hastened, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.
| ریسمانهای شریران مرا احاطه کرد، لیکن شریعت تو را فراموش نکردم. | ۶۱ 61 |
The meshes of the lawless, have surrounded me, Thy law, have I not forgotten.
| در نصف شب برخاستم تا تو را حمد گویم برای داوریهای عدالت تو. | ۶۲ 62 |
At midnight, I arise to give thanks unto thee, For thy righteous regulations.
| من همه ترسندگانت را رفیق هستم، و آنانی را که وصایای تو را نگاه می‌دارند. | ۶۳ 63 |
Companion, am I, to all who revere thee, and to them who keep thy precepts.
| ای خداوند زمین از رحمت تو پر است. فرایض خودرا به من بیاموز. | ۶۴ 64 |
Of thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, the earth, is full, Thy statutes, teach thou me.
| با بنده خود احسان نمودی، ای خداوندموافق کلام خویش. | ۶۵ 65 |
[TETH.] Well, hast thou dealt with thy servant, O Yahweh, according to thy word.
| خردمندی نیکو و معرفت را به من بیاموز زیرا که به اوامر تو ایمان آوردم. | ۶۶ 66 |
Good judgment and knowledge, teach thou me, For, in thy commandments, have I trusted.
| قبل از آنکه مصیبت را ببینم من گمراه شدم لیکن الان کلام تو را نگاه داشتم. | ۶۷ 67 |
Before I was afflicted, I myself was going astray, but, now, thy word, have I kept.
| تو نیکو هستی و نیکویی می‌کنی. فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. | ۶۸ 68 |
Good, thou art, and doing good, Teach me thy statutes.
| متکبران بر من دروغ بستند. و اما من به تمامی دل وصایای تو را نگاه داشتم. | ۶۹ 69 |
Insolent men have plastered falsehood over me, I, with a whole heart, will observe thy precepts.
| دل ایشان مثل پیه فربه است. و اما من در شریعت تو تلذذمی یابم. | ۷۰ 70 |
Gross, like fat, is their heart, I, in thy law, have found dear delight.
| مرا نیکو است که مصیبت را دیدم، تافرایض تو را بیاموزم. | ۷۱ 71 |
It is, well for me, that I was afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.
| شریعت دهان تو برای من بهتر است از هزاران طلا و نقره. | ۷۲ 72 |
Better to me, is the law of thy mouth, than thousands of gold and silver.
| دستهای تو مرا ساخته و آفریده است. مرافهیم گردان تا اوامر تو را بیاموزم. | ۷۳ 73 |
[YODH.] Thine own hands, have made me, and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
| ترسندگان توچون مرا بینند شادمان گردند زیرا به کلام توامیدوار هستم. | ۷۴ 74 |
They who revere thee, shall see me and rejoice, that, for thy word, I waited.
| ای خداوند دانسته‌ام که داوریهای تو عدل است، و بر‌حق مرا مصیبت داده‌ای. | ۷۵ 75 |
I know, O Yahweh, that righteous are thy regulations, and, in faithfulness, didst thou afflict me.
| پس رحمت تو برای تسلی من بشود، موافق کلام تو با بنده خویش. | ۷۶ 76 |
Let thy lovingkindness, I beseech thee, serve to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.
| رحمت های توبه من برسد تا زنده شوم زیرا که شریعت تو تلذذمن است. | ۷۷ 77 |
Let thy compassions reach me, that I may live, for, thy law, is my dear delight.
| متکبران خجل شوند زیرا به دروغ مرا اذیت رسانیدند. و اما من در وصایای تو تفکرمی کنم. | ۷۸ 78 |
Let insolent men, be ashamed, because, by means of falsehood, they have dealt with me perversely, I, will meditate in thy precepts.
| ترسندگان تو به من رجوع کنند و آنانی که شهادات تو را می‌دانند. | ۷۹ 79 |
Let them who revere thee, turn unto me, even they who know thy testimonies.
| دل من در فرایض تو کامل شود، تا خجل نشوم. | ۸۰ 80 |
Let my heart be thorough in thy statutes, that I may not be ashamed.
| جان من برای نجات تو کاهیده می‌شود. لیکن به کلام تو امیدوار هستم. | ۸۱ 81 |
[KAPH.] My soul, hath languished for thy salvation, For thy word, have I hoped.
| چشمان من برای کلام تو تار گردیده است و می‌گویم کی مراتسلی خواهی داد. | ۸۲ 82 |
Mine eyes have failed for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
| زیرا که مثل مشک در دودگردیده‌ام. لیکن فرایض تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام. | ۸۳ 83 |
Though I have been like a wine-skin in the smoke, thy statutes, have I not forgotten.
| چند است روزهای بنده تو؟ و کی بر جفاکنندگانم داوری خواهی نمود؟ | ۸۴ 84 |
How few are the days of thy servant! When wilt thou execute sentence on my persecutors?
| متکبران برای من حفره‌ها زدند زیرا که موافق شریعت تونیستند. | ۸۵ 85 |
Insolent men digged for me pits, men who are not according to thy law.
| تمامی اوامر تو امین است. بر من ناحق جفا کردند. پس مرا امداد فرما. | ۸۶ 86 |
All thy commandments, are faithful, With falsehood, have they persecuted me, O help me!
| نزدیک بود که مرا از زمین نابود سازند. اما من وصایای تو را ترک نکردم. | ۸۷ 87 |
A little more, and they had consumed me in the earth, but, I, forsake not thy precepts.
| به حسب رحمت خود مرا زنده ساز تاشهادات دهان تو را نگاه دارم. | ۸۸ 88 |
According to thy lovingkindness, give thou me life, so will I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
| ای خداوند کلام تو تا ابدالاباد در آسمانهاپایدار است. | ۸۹ 89 |
[LAMED.] Age-abidingly, O Yahweh, hath thy word been set up in the heavens.
| امانت تو نسلا بعد نسل است. زمین را آفریده‌ای و پایدار می‌ماند. | ۹۰ 90 |
To generation after generation, is thy faithfulness, Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
| برای داوریهای تو تا امروز ایستاده‌اند زیرا که همه بنده تو هستند. | ۹۱ 91 |
By thy regulations, do they stand to-day, for, all, are thy servants.
| اگر شریعت تو تلذذ من نمی بود، هرآینه در مذلت خود هلاک می‌شدم. | ۹۲ 92 |
Had not thy law been my dear delight, then, had I perished in mine affliction.
| وصایای تو را تا به ابد فراموش نخواهم کردزیرا به آنها مرا زنده ساخته‌ای. | ۹۳ 93 |
Unto times age-abiding, will I not forget thy precepts, For, by them, hast thou given me life.
| من از آن توهستم مرا نجات ده زیرا که وصایای تو را طلبیدم. | ۹۴ 94 |
Thine, am I, —oh save me! For, thy precepts, have I sought.
| شریران برای من انتظار کشیدند تا مرا هلاک کنند. لیکن در شهادات تو تامل می‌کنم. | ۹۵ 95 |
For me, have the lawless waited, to destroy me, Thy testimonies, will I diligently consider.
| برای هر کمالی انتهایی دیدم، لیکن حکم تو بی‌نهایت وسیع است. | ۹۶ 96 |
To all perfection, have I seen an end, Broad is thy commandment, exceedingly.
| شریعت تو را چقدر دوست می‌دارم. | ۹۷ 97 |
[MEM.] Oh how I love thy law! All the day, is it my (meditation)
| اوامر تو مرا ازدشمنانم حکیم تر ساخته است زیرا که همیشه نزد من می‌باشد. | ۹۸ 98 |
Beyond mine enemies, will thy commandment make me wise, for, age-abidingly, shall it be mine.
| از جمیع معلمان خود فهیم ترشدم زیرا که شهادات تو تفکر من است. | ۹۹ 99 |
Beyond all my teachers, have I shown discretion, for, thy testimonies, are my (meditation)
| ازمشایخ خردمندتر شدم زیرا که وصایای تو رانگاه داشتم. | ۱۰۰ 100 |
Beyond the elders, will I show understanding, for, thy precepts, have I observed.
| پایهای خود را از هر راه بد نگاه داشتم تا آن که کلام تو را حفظ کنم. | ۱۰۱ 101 |
From every way of wickedness, have I withheld my feet, that I might keep thy word.
| ازداوریهای تو رو برنگردانیدم، زیرا که تو مرا تعلیم دادی. | ۱۰۲ 102 |
From thy regulations, have I not turned aside, for, thou, hast directed me.
| کلام تو به مذاق من چه شیرین است وبه دهانم از عسل شیرین تر. | ۱۰۳ 103 |
How smooth to my palate is thy speech, More than honey, to my mouth.
| از وصایای توفطانت را تحصیل کردم. بنابراین هر راه دروغ رامکروه می‌دارم. | ۱۰۴ 104 |
Out of thy precepts, will I get understanding, For this cause, do I hate every false way.
| کلام تو برای پایهای من چراغ، و برای راههای من نور است. | ۱۰۵ 105 |
[NUN.] A lamp to my feet, is thy word, and a light to my path.
| قسم خوردم و آن راوفا خواهم نمود که داوریهای عدالت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت. | ۱۰۶ 106 |
I sware, and have fulfilled, To keep thy righteous regulations.
| بسیار ذلیل شده‌ام. ای خداوند، موافق کلام خود مرا زنده ساز! | ۱۰۷ 107 |
I have been afflicted exceedingly, —O Yahweh, give me life according to thy word.
| ای خداوند هدایای تبرعی دهان مرا منظور فرما وداوریهای خود را به من بیاموز. | ۱۰۸ 108 |
The freewill offerings of my mouth, accept, I pray thee, O Yahweh, And, thy regulations, teach thou me.
| جان من همیشه در کف من است، لیکن شریعت تو رافراموش نمی کنم. | ۱۰۹ 109 |
My life, is in my hand continually, Yet, thy law, have I not forgotten.
| شریران برای من دام گذاشته‌اند، اما از وصایای تو گمراه نشدم. | ۱۱۰ 110 |
The lawless have set a snare for me, Yet, from thy precepts, have I not strayed.
| شهادات تو را تا به ابد میراث خود ساخته‌ام زیرا که آنها شادمانی دل من است. | ۱۱۱ 111 |
As an inheritance have I taken thy testimonies unto times age-abiding, for, the joy of my heart, they are.
| دل خود رابرای بجا آوردن فرایض تو مایل ساختم، تاابدالاباد و تا نهایت. | ۱۱۲ 112 |
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Age-abidingly, to the end.
| مردمان دو رو را مکروه داشته‌ام، لیکن شریعت تو را دوست می‌دارم. | ۱۱۳ 113 |
[SAMECH.] Half-hearted ones, do I hate, but, thy law, do I love.
| ستر و سپر من تو هستی. به کلام تو انتظار می‌کشم. | ۱۱۴ 114 |
My hiding-place and my buckler, thou art, For thy word, have I waited.
| ای بدکاران، از من دور شوید! و اوامر خدای خویش را نگاه خواهم داشت. | ۱۱۵ 115 |
Depart from me, ye evil-doers, —that I may observe the commandments of my God.
| مرا به حسب کلام خود تایید کن تا زنده شوم و از امید خود خجل نگردم. | ۱۱۶ 116 |
Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and do not shame me out of my hope!
| مرا تقویت کن تا رستگار گردم و برفرایض تو دائم نظر نمایم. | ۱۱۷ 117 |
Sustain me, that I may be saved, and may find dear delight in thy statutes continually.
| همه کسانی را که از فرایض تو گمراه شده‌اند، حقیر شمرده‌ای زیراکه مکر ایشان دروغ است. | ۱۱۸ 118 |
Thou hast made light of all who stray from thy statutes, for their fraud is, falsehood.
| جمیع شریران زمین را مثل درد هلاک می‌کنی. بنابراین شهادات تو را دوست می‌دارم. | ۱۱۹ 119 |
Dross, have I accounted all the lawless of the earth, therefore do I love thy testimonies.
| موی بدن من از خوف تو برخاسته است و از داوریهای تو ترسیدم. | ۱۲۰ 120 |
My flesh, bristled up from dread of thee, and, of thy regulations, stand I in fear.
| داد و عدالت را به‌جا آوردم. مرا به ظلم کنندگانم تسلیم منما. | ۱۲۱ 121 |
[AYIN.] I have done justice and righteousness, —Do not leave me to mine oppressors.
| برای سعادت بنده خود ضامن شو تا متکبران بر من ظلم نکنند. | ۱۲۲ 122 |
Be thou surety for thy servant for good, Let not insolent men oppress me.
| چشمانم برای نجات تو تار شده است و برای کلام عدالت تو. | ۱۲۳ 123 |
Mine eyes, have become dim for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.
| با بنده خویش موافق رحمانیتت عمل نما و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. | ۱۲۴ 124 |
Deal with thy servant according to thy lovingkindness, and, thy statutes, teach thou me.
| من بنده تو هستم. مرا فهیم گردان تاشهادات تو را دانسته باشم. | ۱۲۵ 125 |
Thy servant, I am—give me understanding, so shall I get to know thy testimonies.

It is time that Yahweh should work, They have frustrated thy law!
| بنابراین، اوامر تو را دوست می‌دارم، زیادتر از طلا و زر خالص. | ۱۲۷ 127 |
For this cause, do I love thy commandments, More than gold, yea than fine gold!
| بنابراین، همه وصایای تو را در هر چیز راست می‌دانم، وهر راه دروغ را مکروه می‌دارم. | ۱۲۸ 128 |
For this cause, all thy precepts concerning all things, I deem right, Every way of falsehood, I hate.
| شهادات تو عجیب است. ازین سبب جان من آنها را نگاه می‌دارد. | ۱۲۹ 129 |
[PE.] Wonderful are thy testimonies, For this cause, hath my soul observed them.
| کشف کلام تو نورمی بخشد و ساده دلان را فهیم می‌گرداند. | ۱۳۰ 130 |
The opening of thy words, sheddeth light, Giving understanding to the simple.
| دهان خود را نیکو باز کرده، نفس زدم زیرا که مشتاق وصایای تو بودم. | ۱۳۱ 131 |
My mouth, have I opened wide, and panted, because, for thy commandments, have I longed.
| بر من نظر کن و کرم فرما، برحسب عادت تو به آنانی که نام تو رادوست می‌دارند. | ۱۳۲ 132 |
Turn thyself unto me, and show me favour, —As is befitting, to the lovers of thy Name.
| قدم های مرا در کلام خودت پایدار ساز، تا هیچ بدی بر من تسلط نیابد. | ۱۳۳ 133 |
My steps, direct thou by thy word, and let no iniquity, have dominion over me.
| مرا از ظلم انسان خلاصی ده، تا وصایای تورا نگاه دارم. | ۱۳۴ 134 |
Set me free from the oppression of man, so will I keep thy precepts.
| روی خود را بر بنده خود روشن ساز، و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. | ۱۳۵ 135 |
Thy face, light thou up on thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
| نهرهای آب از چشمانم جاری است زیرا که شریعت تو رانگاه نمی دارند. | ۱۳۶ 136 |
Streams of water, have run down mine eyes, because men have not kept thy law.
| ای خداوند تو عادل هستی و داوریهای تو راست است. | ۱۳۷ 137 |
[ZADHE.] Righteous art thou, O Yahweh, —and, equitable, are thy regulations.
| شهادات خود را به راستی امر فرمودی و به امانت الی نهایت. | ۱۳۸ 138 |
Thou hast righteously commanded thy testimonies, yea in great faithfulness.
| غیرت من مرا هلاک کرده است زیرا که دشمنان من کلام تورا فراموش کرده‌اند. | ۱۳۹ 139 |
My zeal, hath put an end to me, for mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.
| کلام تو بی‌نهایت مصفی است و بنده تو آن را دوست می‌دارد. | ۱۴۰ 140 |
Refined is thy word, to the uttermost, and, thy servant loveth it.
| من کوچک و حقیر هستم، اما وصایای تو را فراموش نکردم. | ۱۴۱ 141 |
Small, am I, and despised, Thy precepts, have I not forgotten.
| عدالت تو عدل است تا ابدالاباد وشریعت تو راست است. | ۱۴۲ 142 |
Thy righteousness, is righteous to times age-abiding, and, thy law, is truth.
| تنگی و ضیق مرا درگرفته است، اما اوامر تو تلذذ من است. | ۱۴۳ 143 |
Straitness and distress, have befallen me, Thy commandments, are my dear delights.
| شهادات تو عادل است تا ابدالاباد. مرا فهیم گردان تا زنده شوم. | ۱۴۴ 144 |
Righteous are thy testimonies, unto times age-abiding, Give me understanding, that I may live.
| به تمامی دل خوانده‌ام. ای خداوند مراجواب ده تا فرایض تو را نگاه دارم! | ۱۴۵ 145 |
[KOPH.] I have cried out with all my heart, answer me, O Yahweh; Thy statutes, will I observe.
| تو راخوانده‌ام، پس مرا نجات ده. و شهادات تو را نگاه خواهم داشت. | ۱۴۶ 146 |
I have cried out unto thee, oh save me, That I may keep thy testimonies.
| بر طلوع فجر سبقت جسته، استغاثه کردم، و کلام تو را انتظار کشیدم. | ۱۴۷ 147 |
I forestalled the twilight, and cried for help, For thy word, I waited.
| چشمانم بر پاسهای شب سبقت جست، تا درکلام تو تفکر بنمایم. | ۱۴۸ 148 |
Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, To meditate in thy word.
| به حسب رحمت خود آواز مرا بشنو. ای خداوند موافق داوریهای خودمرا زنده ساز. | ۱۴۹ 149 |
My voice, O hear, according to thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh! according to thy wont, give me life.
| آنانی که در‌پی خباثت می‌روند، نزدیک می‌آیند، و از شریعت تو دورمی باشند. | ۱۵۰ 150 |
They have drawn near, who pursue villainy, From thy law, have they gone far away.
| ای خداوند تو نزدیک هستی وجمیع اوامر تو راست است. | ۱۵۱ 151 |
Near art thou, O Yahweh, and, all thy commandments, are truth.
| شهادات تو را اززمان پیش دانسته‌ام که آنها را بنیان کرده‌ای تاابدالاباد. | ۱۵۲ 152 |
Long, have I known, from thy testimonies, That, to times age-abiding, thou didst establish them.
| بر مذلت من نظر کن و مرا خلاصی ده زیراکه شریعت تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام. | ۱۵۳ 153 |
[RESH.] Behold mine affliction, and rescue me, For, thy law, have I not forgotten.
| در دعوای من دادرسی فرموده، مرا نجات ده و به حسب کلام خویش مرا زنده ساز. | ۱۵۴ 154 |
Plead my cause, and redeem me, By thy word, give me life
| نجات از شریران دور است زیرا که فرایض تو را نمی طلبند. | ۱۵۵ 155 |
Far from the lawless, is salvation, For, thy statutes, have they not sought.
| ای خداوند، رحمت های تو بسیار است. به حسب داوریهای خود مرا زنده ساز. | ۱۵۶ 156 |
Thy compassions, are great, O Yahweh, According to thy regulations, give me life.
| جفاکنندگان و خصمان من بسیارند. اما ازشهادات تو رو برنگردانیدم. | ۱۵۷ 157 |
Many, are my persecutors and mine adversaries, From thy testimonies, have I not swerved.
| خیانت کاران رادیدم و مکروه داشتم زیرا کلام تو را نگاه نمی دارند. | ۱۵۸ 158 |
I have seen traitors, and felt loathing, Because, thy word, they kept not.
| ببین که وصایای تو را دوست می‌دارم. ای خداوند، به حسب رحمت خود مرازنده ساز! | ۱۵۹ 159 |
See thou that, thy precepts, I have loved, O Yahweh, according to thy lovingkindness, give me life.
| جمله کلام تو راستی است وتمامی داوری عدالت تو تا ابدالاباد است. | ۱۶۰ 160 |
The sum of thy word, is truth, and, age-abiding, is every one of thy righteous regulations.
| سروران بی‌جهت بر من جفا کردند. اما دل من از کلام تو ترسان است. | ۱۶۱ 161 |
[SHIN.] Rulers, have persecuted me, without cause, But, of thy word, hath my heart stood in awe.
| من در کلام توشادمان هستم، مثل کسی‌که غنیمت وافر پیدانموده باشد. | ۱۶۲ 162 |
Joyful am I over thy word, Like the finder of spoil in abundance.
| از دروغ کراهت و نفرت دارم. اماشریعت تو را دوست می‌دارم. | ۱۶۳ 163 |
Falsehood, I hate and abhor, Thy law, do I love.
| هر روز تو راهفت مرتبه تسبیح می‌خوانم، برای داوریهای عدالت تو. | ۱۶۴ 164 |
Seven times in the day, have I praised thee, For thy righteous regulations.
| آنانی را که شریعت تو را دوست می دارند، سلامتی عظیم است و هیچ‌چیز باعث لغزش ایشان نخواهد شد. | ۱۶۵ 165 |
Blessing in abundance, have the lovers of thy law, and nothing to make them stumble.
| ای خداوند، برای نجات تو امیدوار هستم و اوامر تو را بجا می‌آورم. | ۱۶۶ 166 |
I have looked for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy commandments, have I done.
| جان من شهادات تو را نگاه داشته است و آنهارا بی‌نهایت دوست می‌دارم. | ۱۶۷ 167 |
My soul hath kept thy testimonies, yea I have loved them greatly.
| وصایا وشهادات تو را نگاه داشته‌ام زیرا که تمام طریقهای من در مد نظر تو است. | ۱۶۸ 168 |
I have kept thy precepts, and thy testimonies, For, all my ways, are before thee.
| ای خداوند، فریاد من به حضور تو برسد. به حسب کلام خود مرا فهیم گردان. | ۱۶۹ 169 |
[TAU] Let my shouting come near before thee, O Yahweh, According to thy word, give me understanding.
| مناجات من به حضور تو برسد. به حسب کلام خود مراخلاصی ده. | ۱۷۰ 170 |
Let my supplication come in before thee, According to thy word, deliver me.
| لبهای من حمد تو را جاری کندزیرا فرایض خود را به من آموخته‌ای. | ۱۷۱ 171 |
My lips, shall pour out, praise, When thou shalt teach me thy statutes.
| زبان من کلام تو را بسراید زیرا که تمام اوامر تو عدل است. | ۱۷۲ 172 |
My tongue, shall respond, with thy word, For, all thy commandments, are righteous.
| دست تو برای اعانت من بشود زیرا که وصایای تو را برگزیده‌ام. | ۱۷۳ 173 |
Be thy hand ready to help me, For, thy statutes, have I chosen.
| ای خداوند برای نجات تو مشتاق بوده‌ام و شریعت تو تلذذ من است. | ۱۷۴ 174 |
I have longed for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy law, is my dear delight.
| جان من زنده شود تا تو را تسبیح بخواند و داوریهای تو معاون من باشد. | ۱۷۵ 175 |
Let my soul live, that it may praise thee, So shall thy regulation help me.
| مثل گوسفند گم شده، آواره گشتم. بنده خود را طلب نما، زیرا که اوامر تو را فراموش نکردم. | ۱۷۶ 176 |
I have strayed like a wandering sheep, O seek thy servant, For, thy commandments, have I not forgotten.
