| ای خداوند چرا دور ایستاده‌ای و خودرا در وقت های تنگی پنهان می‌کنی؟ | ۱ 1 |
Why standest thou afar off, O YHWH? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
| از تکبر شریران، فقیر سوخته می‌شود؛ درمشورت هایی که اندیشیده‌اند، گرفتار می‌شوند. | ۲ 2 |
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
| زیرا که شریر به شهوات نفس خود فخر می‌کند، و آنکه می‌رباید شکر می‌گوید و خداوند را اهانت می‌کند. | ۳ 3 |
For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom YHWH abhorreth.
| شریر در غرور خود می‌گوید: «بازخواست نخواهد کرد.» همه فکرهای او اینست که خدایی نیست. | ۴ 4 |
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after Elohim: Elohim is not in all his thoughts.
| راههای او همیشه استوار است. احکام تو از او بلند و بعید است. همه دشمنان خود را به هیچ می‌شمارد. | ۵ 5 |
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
| در دل خود گفته است: «هرگزجنبش نخواهم خورد، و دور به دور بدی رانخواهم دید.» | ۶ 6 |
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
| دهن او از لعنت و مکر و ظلم پر است؛ زیرزبانش مشقت و گناه است؛ | ۷ 7 |
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
| در کمینهای دهات می‌نشیند؛ در جایهای مخفی بی‌گناه را می‌کشد؛ چشمانش برای مسکینان مراقب است؛ | ۸ 8 |
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
| در جای مخفی مثل شیر در بیشه خود کمین می‌کند؛ به جهت گرفتن مسکین کمین می‌کند؛ فقیر را به دام خود کشیده، گرفتار می‌سازد. | ۹ 9 |
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
| پس کوفته وزبون می‌شود؛ و مساکین در زیر جباران اومی افتند. | ۱۰ 10 |
He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
| در دل خود گفت: «خدا فراموش کرده است؛ روی خود را پوشانیده و هرگزنخواهد دید.» | ۱۱ 11 |
He hath said in his heart, El hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
| ای خداوند برخیز! ای خدا دست خود رابرافراز! و مسکینان را فراموش مکن. | ۱۲ 12 |
Arise, O YHWH; O El, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
| چراشریر خدا را اهانت کرده، در دل خود می‌گوید: «تو بازخواست نخواهی کرد؟» | ۱۳ 13 |
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn Elohim? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
| البته دیده‌ای زیرا که تو بر مشقت و غم می‌نگری، تا به‌دست خود مکافات برسانی. مسکین امر خویش را به توتسلیم کرده است. مددکار یتیمان، تو هستی. | ۱۴ 14 |
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
| بازوی گناهکار را بشکن. و اما شریر را ازشرارت او بازخواست کن تا آن را نیابی. | ۱۵ 15 |
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
| خداوند پادشاه است تا ابدالاباد. امت‌ها اززمین او هلاک خواهند شد. | ۱۶ 16 |
YHWH is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
| ای خداوندمسالت مسکینان را اجابت کرده‌ای، دل ایشان رااستوار نموده‌ای و گوش خود را فراگرفته‌ای، | ۱۷ 17 |
YHWH, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
| تایتیمان و کوفته شدگان را دادرسی کنی. انسانی که از زمین است، دیگر نترساند. | ۱۸ 18 |
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
